At 2:15 PM on a Saturday, food from the rice corner was not hot anymore. I had rice, mutton curry and one vege. The price seemed to be a bit on the high side. This made my perception drop but since the overall service was good and friendly, it makes up for it. Will review again on another visit. Delicious food. Especially liking it since there is rasam and thairu to go with your meal. If you want to enjoy traditional south indian food, then come to this place.

Their nasi lemak and puli satham tastes really good. A good place for tea time and dinner as well.. noticed that their price in grab is expensive but when dine in is far more cheaper..

First visit to the restaurant. The name itself was quite unique and attractive. Magalir (மகளிர்) in Tamil means Women. We thought only the owner is a women but we found out all the chefs are women. It's some extraordinary in Indian restaurants. Usually the chefs are men. The food was quite delicious. Plenty of choices. Clean environment and great ambience. Friendly and polite staff. Excellent service. Reasonable pricing. Overall very satisfying.

There is a nice variety of vegetarian food, and if you like spicy food then you should definitely come. Sometimes it's very crowded but always found a place to sit.

Not recommended to go for dinner as the food there are prepared before head and not hot at all. Ordered Chapati and it was so cold, so hard. The vadai I dont know what time it was did as I had diarrhea after having the vadai.

Tried their chicken biryani over there.To be honest,it taste better than the restaurants at penang market street.Wouldn't say 'The Best' but it taste like a homemade biryani.The masalas are just nice.The price seems worth as the set comes with a big portion of chicken and biryani rice also with egg gravy and kurma.So far a recommended chicken biryani in mainland. The restaurant was a bit crowded which I don't really prefer, but overall was a nice experience eating over there.

Excellent food everyday, I love the Vegetarian Nasi Lemak very much. We cook food everyday at home but still we make an appointment weekly once in this restaurant. Very entertaining restaurant owner & humble & efficient workers.

Food was excellent. I get to experience home cooked food here. The owners and ppl who work there are so friendly . They even send us to our with umbrella due to heavy rain . Will definitely comeback here for our next visit to Penang ❤❤❤
