Easy trail to follow, can reach the top within 30 minutes! Once you get to the top, you'll be rewarded with a great view of Bukit Mertajam n also Penang island! There's also a lot of mushrooms on the trail. You could even plan a picnic up there, just remember to clean up after.

1800 steps...not sure how they measured. I counted my steps and was around 60 steps for each 100 steps increments. You will find lots of mosquitoes 🦟 along this 20 minutes trail to the peak. You will be rewarded with panoramic views of the sea and the hinderland...

30 minutes hike. One view you can see Bukit Mertajam city while another view you can see Penang second bridge. A very good start for beginners. The track is clear and not confusing. You won't lost hopefully. Will repeat again in the future.

Short hike with beautiful city and sea view on the top. For average fitness level, it should take around 1 hour to go up and down. The path is clearly marked and there is no confusion. A lot of monkeys on the way and also at the trail entrance. Nice little garden is maintained by locals on the top, with flowers and fruits.

This location offers the best hike experience, there's 2 or more entrance to this place and each trail hikes up to different peak point, this location is opposite a small jetty, another trail has concrete/stone stairs leading upwards which start somewhere near the 3 way junction with signage for Sunday hiking welcome. This 1800steps trail starts opposite a small jetty like structure which I mentioned above and this trail is more beautiful and it leads direct to the peak point which has beautiful gardens and resting place with hammocks attached to trees, however both this peak point has trail leading to each other, so by climbing from one trail entrance, you can hike down to another base point, the views are beautiful and magnificent overseeing both Penang bridges and the Penang Island and not forgetting mainland Bukit Mertajam view

Nice place to hike.Suitable for family and kids. Definitely sweat alot if you are going up nonstop. 2 entrance. Tried the one with blue signboard All the way up to the viewing point 1800 steps 20 min with stops for pic aka rest Then follow left to another seaview point 3000 steps ( ioi seaview roughly 10 min, going up and down a little, certain area are slightly darker, is jungle trail. Watch your head too , a few places need to bend slightly and walk pass. Walked back to the ioi seaview signboard, choose the downhill loop and walk down ,it will eventually connect back to where you coming from Total soft hike 1 hour 20 min

Went there for tree planting but didn't know we had to plant the trees on top of the hill. Some part of the trail is easy but mostly are quite challenging but not too hard. They made the trail into stairs but quite high staircases. Have ropes too to depend on. But because of the way the trail crafted, it became so steep and is quite dangerous when going down. Must be extra careful while going down, grab all the ropes and trees to be safe.

If you're non experience/ new hiker, then this is not for you. You need a lot of stamina for climbing the stairs. It would be a great experience if u get up there and enjoy the sea view!
