Really beautiful Japanese style garden. I found it randomly and it was a great discovery. Really green, really natural and well taken care of. The greatest thing is the entrance is completely free. Many other Japanese style gardens like this in Tokyo charge something, so this one is a really good option if you want to check one of these gardens and not pay anything. It has some paths to take a walk, a pond, a bridge, lot of nature and, well, toilets. Totally recommended. A beautiful “hidden” spot.

The pine trees in the garden are well maintained and the borrowed scenery is wonderful. The garden is a legacy of Japan.

I think the best time to come here is in Spring. You can enter the garden for free. For only ¥700, you can sit in the house and have delicious iced sweet matcha with snacks. If you come at a time where there’s not much people, you can get a good seat in the middle of the room and enjoy your food with a beautiful view of the garden. After having tea, they will give you a ¥100 discount coupon for the museum!

I was wandering around and found this beautiful place. Since it is not very crowded, you can enjoy the beautiful silence of a japanese style garden but most of all relax and escape from the chaotic Tokyo

Calm and nice place, with a good trail to explore in a light hill, with a park and small forest presenting different vegetation and tree species. A pond with carps, the garden full of stones complete the Japanese Garden as expected. Benches are all around the trail and there are spots with tables where you can enjoy your meal and have a drink.

Very nice park without any entrance fee:-) There is a nice pond and a few paths winding in the forest. We saw baby ducks swimming in the pond. Further, there is a small museum, a toilet facility and bicycle parking.

Beautiful Japanese style garden. Has small hill track which at the top reside a musuem. You can also enjoy watching sakura blooms along Kanda river toward this garden.

I love this Japanese style park and so blessed to live 2 mins away from it. For one its free and its completely maintained. Theres a tea house which sells matcha and you enjoy it sitting in a japanese style room while taking in the beautiful scenery of the park. There are a variety of flowers during different seasons to take in. The staff are all so lovely and you leave feeling relaxed, and that you wish you could have your own japanese garden... absolutely worth a visit as theres so much around this area.

Small Japanese-style park nestled near the Chinsanso Hotel. Small pond/lake with Japanese maple trees and some cherry blossom. Can walk around the park in 20 minutes. It's a quiet, pleasant place to sit and get away from the noise of the nearby roads and traffic.

This place is a hidden gem of a garden. We went during November and the autumn colors were absolutely beautiful. Moreover, it’s totally free even though it’s so freakin beautiful!! One of my favorite Japanese gardens in Tokyo!

Spacious, well maintained traditional Japanese garden. Free entrance. Building near entrance sometimes sells refreshments.

Autumn 2022. Entrance is free, and they have seasonal light-up events. A fun, beautiful place to stroll around on a sunny morning. Small ponds, stairs, and perfectly manicured landscapes — just what you’d expect from a classic Japanese garden. It is in a mostly residential area, so you’ll have to walk ~10 minutes to eateries for lunch if you plan on spending the morning here. They also have wagashi and nihoncha sets for ¥600 or so (not sure if they sell during other seasons.) I highly recommend this green if you’re in the area. Benches sprinkled throughout if you just want to sit and enjoy the view. Then you can go to more bustling Kagurazaka areas to shop and dine after.
