I have seen this place advertised a few times across some of the social media sites. So we finally decided to give them a try. It was great. Really good space and a bit of a remembrance to the original space. A tin forming metal shop back in the 1930s and now a sharp little bar with attached theatre space. They make a dang good cocktail. Located in old Burein, they are worth a visit.

The Tin Room has been a favorite in Burien for many years and luckily now they are re-opened after a long closure during the Covid pandemic. This is a spot that locals love to go to get good drinks and good food in a laid-back, down home setting. The menu has a wide variety of offerings some of the dishes work better than others but usually nothing disappoints. If you sit at the bar you’ll get kind service and probably meet a neighbor or two. I hope that eventually the theater attached to it will open soon and start offering open mics again as well.

Came here for date night and just chose this spot randomly off of Google. Location was great (ample parking, easy to walk to, nearby a bunch of other cool Burien shops). The atmosphere inside was dim and cool, it was open seating and our server was a pleasure to talk to and helpful with recommendations. Drinks were strong (in a good way), portion sizes were huge (the corn dog was longer than my head), the food tasted amazing (and all of the sauces tasted homemade, different than most places), and we loved the dessert. The food wasn’t cheap, but it also didn’t break our wallets—my partner and I were very satisfied for everything we got given what we paid. Will be returning if we are in the area again!

Wonderful experience for dinner here. Love the new additions to the menu, unexpected flair. Service was friendly and attentive and the drink specials were super yummy too.

Fun place. Our favorite is the corn dog made with homemade sausage. They have two outdoor areas, the one downstairs is bigger, and super cute

Average spot to eat and drink. Can barely read menu to order. Bland fish and chips, the fries were about one inch to two inches long, limp and bland. Especially for the price. Limpy leafy lettuce for Caesar salad. Underwhelming nachos. Will not be back. There is very limited parking along busy street but all were taken. Had to park block and a half away. Terrible.

First time here. I was in town and a local friend and I stopped in for a quick drink. Nice little place with a relaxed, chill vibe. My drink was good and I like that they hand squeeze the fruit juice for the drinks. Will definitely drop in again next time I'm in town.

I ordered a house red wine, half beet salad and vegetarian tacos. The beet salad comes on a bed of greens with pistachio and goat cheese. I had over a half cup of pistachios on my salad hardly any beets and absolutely no goat cheese. The greens were close to being considered wilted. The host noticed this when she cleared my plate and knew right away what had happened. Just then my tacos arrived. They were delicious...one of the best vegetarian tacos I have had. The tortilla we're fresh corn ones, piping hot grilled vegetables, great tomatillo sauce. The side of beans and pico we're to die for. The black pepper flavors took me to the tropics. The hostess was gracious in reporting that some one new made the salad. She offered a discount as well. I will visit again for the tacos and the great service.

We hadn’t been to Tin Room in a long time. We used to go there for lunch on weekends but they are no longer open for lunch so it had been a few years since we had been there. Atmosphere: the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The theme is “tin shop” which is what the building was at one time in its past. Drinks: I had one of the cocktails on their special menu (Bourbon Renewal). It was very good. I saw lots of other interesting cocktails coming out for other diners and they seemed happy with their drinks. Service: The service was friendly but slow. They only had one bartender and one server to take care of the whole restaurant so they were doing the best they could. Food: We got the onion rings for an appetizer. They were very good. The rest of the food was disappointing. I had the fish and chips. The fish was cold, rubbery and bland. The chips (fries) were cold and limp. My husband got the fish tacos, which he described as “okay”. The Tin Room is a great place to go for drinks and appetizers with friends. But it will probably be a while before we go back to give the Tin Room another try for dinner.

My absolute favorite bar and restaurant in town!! We bring all of our friends here when they visit, and it always gets rave reviews. Try any meal, and cocktail, you’ll love it.

Excellent food, great selection of beverages, and it's locally owned if memory serves. What more could one ask for.

During my short visit to this area we've sat in the small open space behind the bar for a meal and a couple of drinks. The meals offered were more then plenty for the average person. The atmosphere was good and staff was friendly. I hope to be able to visit this place again in the near future.

First time here...Tasty food, beautiful atmosphere. I went alone and noticed that the server didn't ask if I wanted a second drink even though she did ask the larger groups.

Very expensive place. Like Ballard expensive. I thought their nachos were okay along with their chicken piccata. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't better than anywhere else. The atmosphere was very nice, but the service was a bit lacking and disjointed. Their biggest draw was their cocktails. The drinks are made from scratch as far as I could tell, even if they weren't that great tasting. For instance, their whiskey sour is made with real fruit. Overall, I would go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Crowded on Saturday night, but fast service, good bartenders, good cocktails, good bar food. I really like the little theater - it has plenty of legroom, fairly comfortable seats, drinks service, decent sound system.

I'm always biased towards places with a cheap happy hour menus and this place has that. Love the sliders, chicken wings, and the bacon wrapped jalapeño stuffed with cheese. The well drinks are full of ice though, not worth the $4.75 happy hour price, IMO.

I requested a house red wine, half beet salad and vegan tacos. The beet salad comes on a bed of greens with pistachio and goat cheddar. I had over a half cup of pistachios on my serving of mixed greens barely any beets and positively no goat cheddar. The greens were near being considered shriveled. The host saw this when she cleared my plate and realized immediately what had occurred. All of a sudden my tacos showed up. They were delicious...one of the best vegan tacos I have had. The tortilla we're new corn ones, quite hot barbecued vegetables, extraordinary tomatillo sauce. The side of beans and pico we're beyond words. The dark pepper flavors took me to the jungles. The lady was charitable in detailing that another person made the plate of mixed greens. She offered a markdown too. I will visit again for the tacos and the incredible help.

This place is an absolute gem. I'm not going to lie, I came here because I saw the corndogs on the menu. They did not disappoint. These are State Fair quality ... dare I say better? There were a lot of things on the menu I want to try in future visits. The back patio is beautiful, the grapevines and flowers made it feel like a secret garden. I only got to take a peek at the theater. So I'm going to go back and check it out again. The staff was absolutely lovely. They were so friendly and attentive.

We arrived later in the day for a 21st birthday celebration. The staff took excellent care of us, rallied the kitchen team tonsing Happy Birthday and were very sweet.

Wonderful place, especially the lunch service. Plenty of options for tavern food and Mexican dishes. Atmosphere was great. Fixed the place up during Covid and it looks spectacular.
