Amazing Korean Hair Salon! 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️ ⚠️SPECIAL NOTE: make sure to CALL them for booking cause I had thought I booked my appointment via Google Maps, but.... when I showed up, I wasn't in their books... SO MAKE SURE TO CALL 📞 I was way overdue for a haircut and finally came here for a refresh. The staff on site were all very friendly but not all the stylists can speak English well. The pricing is quite good for the quality of the outcome. ALSO the stylist Lucy who cut my hair is very quick but also produced excellent results! I really like my new hairstyle 🥰

I’ve had amazing treatment from Sungho twice already. First he corrected the bad perm I previously had in a different salon. He gave his professional advice on the style and trusted him, I’m glad I did as received tons of compliments. He still remember the style he made on me and expressed on how he can make it better in the future. The second one was to trim my hair months after the first perm with him and he worked around the existing curls and was very pleased. He had a gentle and professional approach to client and takes time to make sure client is happy. He does not speak English but able to express well they staff and Google translate, language was not a barrier to communicating and having a great result. Try getting a cut and treatment with him

Went in for a haircut with Sungho and provided a reference photo but walked out with a totally different haircut. He gave me a bob instead of short hair with lots of layers like I had asked for. When I told him that those two are very different styles, he would say things like, “let’s try this look this time” and ”you have lots of hair..”. I’m not saying he’s a bad hair stylist and it’s a nice cut just not what I asked for. Think lovely and cute instead of chic. I had heard good reviews about him which is why i wanted to try this place instead of my usual hair stylist, who is amazing but pricy. I guess you get what you pay for. (And now I’m actually paying more because I have to book an emergency haircut with my usual stylist). Won’t be coming back as I want my hair stylist to listen to me instead of running with what he thinks looks good. It’s not even remotely close to what I asked for. He did offer to cut it again like the picture but he was running late and there was another client behind me who had been waiting for 15 mins. Maybe he might have been able to fix it? All in all, so unfortunate.

Must see the designer 'Sung ho'. He is very professional and delicate. One very good thing about him is that he takes enough time listening what style I want. If you bring the photo of the style you want, that would be much better. Either way, he will give you the perfect result. 👍👍👍

I got a haircut with Sungho and I would highly recommend it. He was patient and really good at styling my hair. I didn't really have any requirements for my hair aside from the curtain bangs, but he managed to cut my hair beautifully. Sungho gave me a lot of tips on what I can regularly do to style my hair. He had difficulty with English, however that never stopped him from communicating with me, whether that was through a coworker or Google translate. I would highly recommend Sungho, his patience, kindness and his skill at his trade really shines through.

I highly recommend Sungho. He is detail-oriented, gentle, does not rush, and suggests a great hairstyle while considering your preference. He even showed me a picture of the style he wants to do next for my hair. Sungho is very welcoming, humble, and a team player. He uses Google Translate to communicate or asks his teammates to translate. I do not speak Korean, but that did not stop me from seeing him a few times now... and I will continue to let him cut my hair. Book an appointment with Sungho!

Chungdam Beauty Salon is a good hair salon with great hair stylist at an affordable price. I've had a bad history with many other salons but Anna would always recommend the best solution for my hair. I've been coming here for a year with no complaints and only satisfaction. I would come again for sure!

Had a great experience at ChungDam. Sungho did a great job changing my entire look with the hairstyle I like. He's very detailed and know what style best fit the customer. Highly recommended and better bring and show the style you like to the hair stylist before you go.

My son keeps looking in the mirror to see if he is satisfied after getting a haircut. I highly recommend getting a long hair perm with Sungho. I brought a sample photo of the hairstyle I wanted (layered haircut and perm), and he made it perfectly. It took around 3 hours, during the process I could feel he put a lot of effort into making it just right. The price was reasonable, and I'm definitely planning to return next time. :)
