I recently dined at this brunch place and overall, it was a great experience. I gave it 4 stars because, as a brunch spot, they should always have eggs Benedict available on a Sunday. Nevertheless, the food was delicious, the portion sizes were satisfying, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Additionally, the attentive service made the visit enjoyable.

Cute new brunch and dessert spot in Burnaby! I stopped by with a friend on a Thursday evening and there were plenty of seats and friendly service. We got the strawberry Oreo cheesecake and blueberry shaved ice to share. The strawberry oreo cheesecake was delightful and the light whipped cream was very good. The blueberry shaved ice was loaded with ingredients and fresh blueberries. We were also given some homemade blueberry jam as an extra topping.

Really cute place Came here for brunch. Ordered the eggs Benny with smoked salmon, a mocha and meatballs with marinara sauce. Overall food was tasty and arrived quickly. Service was attentive and pleasant. My mocha was well presented and very tasty…could have been hotter but that’s a personal preference. The eggs Benny come with an option of sitting on an English muffin or a waffle. I chose the muffin which seemed untoasted and chewy. Other components of the dish were good but I didn’t think sliced almonds sprinkled on top of the ketchup drizzle was needed… probably more for decoration. The meatballs seem store bought. They look just like IKEA meatballs and have the same texture. The marinara sauce isn’t your typical Italian style sauce. Not a lot of spicy or tangy tomato flavour. It’s very mild, with kidney beans and more liquid than the typical chunky or thicker sauce. Overall the dish was still tasty and we finished it. The parking lot is small and awkward. Despite all of that - I’d come back and try other items.

That’s my second time trying 1003 brunch & dessert. The Christmas decorations are so pretty, I love it! This time I tried their afternoon tea set, the set is for two people. The waffle sandwich and the mini croissant are amazing, they seemed simple, but the taste was really good. I will definitely come back to try other meals.

I really like this brunch place I found on social media. The service is excellent, and I plan to come back when I'm in Burnaby to try more brunch options. The food is simple, but it looks great on the plate, making it a nice experience. Overall, I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and good service, making it a go-to spot for me.

Cozy up for brunch… Been meaning to come by here to try out their brunch but somehow always managed to passed by it. Finally some time off for the holiday season and have time to try out a few places on my list. This place is located on the inside of the Burlington plaza with limited parking but there’s pay street parking. Inside has that very youthful decorated theme, somewhat cute and cozy. The service was okay and needed to register on the waiting book to be seated. It just one of those small little cozy places where you and your friends can relax to over some food and chit chat a bit. Here were the food I ordered; 1. Smoked duck breast platter (with waffles). The smoked duck breast was nicely sliced, juicy and tender with a light smokey aroma and taste to it. 2. All in platter (with waffle). The duck breast was tasty as mentioned, the bacon and ham was a little dry, the salad was fresh, the fruits were sweet and glad it came with a glass of orange juice. Overall, it got me full. 3. Iced Pina latte. Nice smooth little latte. Overall, a causal yet nice little cute and cozy place. It’s an affordable little place for some decent brunch or high tea food with your friends or a pretty nice place for a date. I would definitely go back to try the rest of their food, drinks and desserts. I would say a solid 3.5 stars (above average).

We got the specialty sausage platter and the waffle garden. They both tasted great. Comfortable seating. Didn’t try their drinks.

I love this place soooo much! The host is more than welcome and she genuinely care about providing a great experience for every customers. Very delightful exquisite food and drink, everything is a treat. Their ingredients are fresh and each dish is beautifully plated. The café’s ambience is an artistic marvel, beautiful plant and a shout out to their cute bowls and plates!! I don’t think you will regret once you experience it yourself. I would recommend the curry fried chicken rice, it’s flavourful, crispy outside and juicy inside😋
