Find another clinic, you will not be satisfied whatsoever here.The woman who runs this place is very ignorant. She charges you a high monthly fee which promises support and councilor. I received either. Doctor is more than happy to raise dose but, will never reccomend lowering. This is purely money driven and the doctor shows up late with the excuse of blaming traffic. If you want to be treated with respect and have support during your journey than I wouldn't go here.

The woman that runs the place is awful!

Overburdened, understaffed, doctors are very curt and have a lust for money as they siphon patients in and out as fast as possible. I haven't been here since 2016 so things may be different.. I certainly hope so for the patients sake that have to come here to exist a normal life. But I can say that unless it is different somehow, and changes have possibly been made. It is a horrible clinic. I hope things are better now. It would deserve 1star, but since I no longer am aware of the conditions if the office. I decided to meet in the middle at 3stars.

Save yourself the stress and dehumanization that you'll experince at this unprofessional clinic. There were many rules violated. The lady running the front desk has a stack of pre-signed scripts from the doctor waiting for her to fill out the numerical dose. Half the time she gets it wrong and my pharmacy would have to call to verify her "math". Doctor raises dose by 10mg and even 20mg at a time. He will tell you that you can never live successfully off methadone. (I'm 6 years sober and went from 140mg to 14mg over 1.5 years with a tapered dose and no relapse. It can be done!) The monthly clinic charge continues to go up with no real legal paperwork to explain said increase. It's really whatever she wakes up and feels like that day. You deserve better. Goto the free OAT clinic in Sapperton where you'll atleast be treated with respect and support. I was referred to get help with my PTSD immediately by my new doctor at the OAT clinic. Do better Burnaby medical clinic!
