The truffle fries and steak was excellent. We also ordered the wings and the pork belly. Live music was nice - good song choices.

This was such a great day. The food was AMAZING, the server/bartender (Tami) was so so so great. I live in Langley and i will be back every chance i get. It was such great energy, the cook (Sanjay Mr Bermuda) brought our food to our table and was so nice. I was hesitant to go here as the reviews weren't all that great... It is under new ownership so those are old reviews. Great patio, try it, you'll love it 💞 Sorry about 2 of the pics, it was so good we almost forgot to take pics... Shrimps scampy pasta, butter chicken was so delicious and had lots of chicken and Bronx Bomber pizza was so good

Your friendly neighborhood pub. It was a bit crowded when I went there so it looked a little messy. But the vibes were amazing with a band performing. Nachos were a decent snack to have with my drinks!! You should definitely go here if you live close by.

New ownership , new manager Carlos Rodriguez, who is very gentle and involved in the service and the new menu has a lot of variety . Rimzan gave us a very profesional service and the whole service is very coordinated. The ambience of the pub is so cozy and comfortable. Nice live music after 8:30pm and delicious culinary . Being walking distance from home , it is definitely the right spot to go anytime. It is a very nice pub!!!

The pub was nice. Not very crowded (I went on a Wednesday night). Friendly staff, nice dishes. Will return for sure. Very recommended!

Casual neighborhood pub with large tables and booths in the back and a small dance floor with live entertainment. Our server was helpful and friendly. Took a bit for our order to come out as they'd had an issue with the printer in the kitchen but he followed up and made sure our meals came out as fast as possible. I had their curry special of the day and it was delicious and a healthy portion. My friend had the other special, fish tacos, and was equally impressed. Will be back.

This is my second time here. The first time was OK, the second time not great. 17.00 breakfast was tiny. The service is super slow 🐌. The place is half empty. The Jazz was nice on a Sunday.

It's a Tuesday night with live rock and roll music and it's such a FUN evening! What a happy surprise this is! Great food and the servers are friendly. Lots of parking up front too. The Admiral Pub has been around for a while, so definitely a neighborhood place.

A nice pub to visit while your in Burnaby, British Columbia,. The food is great and fast service. We enjoyed our Saturday night outing because of the live music.

Kate was our waitress and absolutely awesome! This was the last restaurant before we left Vancouver. Karaoke was great. Food was fast and delicious.

Went there to have a drink and ordered a long island ice tea, found the taste is not as great as what I am expected, too much ice tone down the tea color and alcohol level, understand business is tough but if restaurant want customers to come back not only the services but also the goods quality, for me here is only worth 1 drink and that's it.

Had a super fun NYE here with our friends! It was a ticketed event $100 which included an amazing array of delicious food (buffet style) a really great live band, a stunning belly dancer and a glass of bubbly to raise a toast to 2024!

Food was really good! Had fish tacos and poutine at happy hour. Decent amount of food and was very tasty. So were the drinks! Had a coconut mojito and a burnt pineapple margarita, both delicious!

The staff was quite impolite when we requested a table change, and their professionalism was lacking. We waited over 10 minutes for seating and had to argue to provide ID after 20 minute just for ordering food. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for great service and attentive waitstaff. Manager is quiet

A few creepy regulars who like to get drunk and hit on all the young girls. But overall seemed harmless. Really good drinks and the service staff are fantastic. A fun dive bar experience with reasonable prices.

Was there with a group of 8 buddies, it was super busy, but our sever was great. Blonde girl with tattoos, think her name was katie. She was so attentive, even though she was super busy. She seemed to be the only one actually working hard and clearing tables, and doing quality checks, which are not common at the admiral. Our food was pretty good, could of been a bit better, but will still go back.

Love the live entertainment here. Fridays or Saturday nights are my favourite time to go when I visit here. Service can be a bit slow at times. I think perhaps they cut back on their staff a bit after Covid perhaps? But the atmosphere is great and the pub food is good too.

Years ago I went to this place to dance. Last evening we attended the Istanbul band. It was amazing!. Place was full house. My friends loved the food, I enjoyed glass of wine. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the folks dancing & people singing along with the band. I'm hoping they'll return.

This is a good pub for somebody, but it wasn't for us. Older/middle aged clientele, and they play to it well. I expected a standard neighbourhood pub, so I guess it's on me for not checking the menu first and realizing it was more up scale. The bbq sandwich was good, but would be made better with more meat on the bun, and the strange extra pile of meat reduced with maybe a coleslaw or something in its place. Was still good tho. Took 10 minutes from seating to ordering and 8 minutes from ordering to getting our beer. Food arrived 2 minutes later.

Pros. Great staff, great waitress, great crowd, great band, great bar staff. Great atmosphere. Cons. The appetizers on happy hour was the worst food I've had in years and I am not a picky eater at all. It was absolutely terrible . Whoever is cooking that needs to be canned. The place needs a renovation. It is very old and the carpet looks like it was installed in 1995. I mean this place supposed to be a dive bar so it doesn't help when your entree menu is the same price as Joey's or earls. It has been recently changed to higher prices. Definitely will avoid this place at all costs due to bad food, and extremely high prices for a dive bar atmosphere.

Great live music !!! They used to have better pub food deals and specials with previous management. Now it’s more chef inspired. Cover charge for entertainment. Excellent service and drink selections. Staff are friendly as are patrons. Happy hour 3-6 ! Check out Band lineup on website. Bands almost every night.

Visited Admiral to see a great band. Not the first time to see these players at this venue. Service very poor. Staff are great, just overworked. $100 check arrived with a cover charge included. Advised server that this was not acceptable, he brought over manager who informed that the cover charge was on a sign at the front door and in place to support live music. Responded that we would not have been here if the band was not playing. Manager removed the charge, returned with adjusted check AND the small sign that was apparently at the door advising of cover charge, to indicate that that this was now my fault. Wow. In 40+ years of going to clubs, any cover charge amount has always been visible and charged at the door. Looks like it’s different at the Admiral. Manager advised that he would remove the charge from the check but I would not be able to visit again. Ok by me. Vancouver is not short of venues to see live music and who welcome my dollars. Bye Admiral.

We came here for Karaoke night and weren’t disappointed. Friendly service. Clean for a pub. All in our group had fun. Drink selection could use a little more variety for my taste. Wish they had more specials or happy hours.

All kinds of different musical entertainment all week. The Chef & Food are as great as the staff! Also I recently enjoyed the delights of the afternoon menu while seeing the wonders of Gabriel Mark Hasselbach on Sunday.

Was there on a Tues night with five of us. We had a great time. Turns out the kitchen was excellent. We each had a different meal and each were very good. I had the lasagna, others were, butter chicken, fish and chips, a burger, lastly was the wrap. Nice arrangement. You could dine and dance or just watch the band on one side of the central bar or lounge and hang out on the other side of the bar. Very small dance floor though. Overhead music can be a bit loud to talk over.

Excellent service and very good food..was pleasantly surprised at the quality of both here, will be going back soon to try more things on the menu.

Hadn't been here in quite a while so it was time to revisit and was not disappointed. Friendly service and a great lunch. Will return again...

Great experience at the Admiral recently. Inpressive deals on drinks during happy hour and really excellent and thought food menu. Looking forward to it becoming our local! A much needed modern pub in Burnaby Heights!

What a Great Lunch !!! We had 3 of us and shared the beef salad, tempura style cauliflower, onion rings and a beef brisket sandwich. The manager told us the owner/chef was from the Whistler Fairmount and did it ever show.... Best lunch we've had all month and I would highly recommend the salad... We will be back to sample more! Great Canada Day experience...Thanks Admiral!

I'm giving this place two stars just because the food was pretty good. On the other hand, waitress was terrible. I was waiting for like for half an hour just to get menu. I thought maybe they're just a little busy, and they can serve me now. That was not the case. I felt like she served everyone except me. I couldn't even get their attention. I felt like I had to start yelling, so that she notices me. That's just my 5 cents about this place.

My bf and me went tonight and we found this amazing sandwich called "Brisket sandwich". It comes with a side of french fries but these last ones can be switched for salad. Having said this, I have to point out how amazing this dish is. The beef meat is cooked amazingly tasty, it's not too salty, not overcooked and not grease at all. It comes with peppers, mushrooms and onions too. The salad I ordered was very well mixed with the caeser ranch, parmesan cheese and the croutons. I don't know how they make it but the bun that they use for this sandwich matches perfectly with the meat creating a very tasty, juicy and soft sandwich to the palate. It's by far one of the best meals I have enjoyed and I can say this because I've been in several "expensive" places and I've had burgers, meat dishes and sandwiches. We also went around 9:30pm and there was not crowded at all, the music they had was jazz and the service very fast, they didn't take long time at all to prepare our meals. Excellent place to go with family or to have an awesome date with your partner. Thumbs up for this place.
