A lovely meal the Szechuan chicken lettuce wraps were very tasty, as was the roasted corn guacamole and and my sister had the blackened chicken which was delicious! Only rated four stars because I didn’t like the music and it was too loud. Server Kyle was excellent!!

It’s been almost two years since I last visited this location. The service is excellent and the food is good. The shrimp Ravi could have had larger shrimp for the price and compare to other liked restaurants. Thank you for not charging one of our items as one of us cannot have spice and we were able to order another dish (non-spice). The washrooms are beautiful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is live and welcoming. Price of food compared to the portions was a tad on the higher side. Would I go back? Maybe 1> I didn’t feel the price of food and portion was not equal. Went with a large party on a busy Saturday and we had reservations but was surprised we still had to wait over 40 minutes for a table. As a group we ordered food at the same time, but was surprised to get food arriving at the table at different times. Some of us were half way finished our meals while others were waiting for theirs. Overall the food was decent, the lettuce wraps and blackened chicken was well prepared. But overall, it was an okay experience; it wasn't the worst, but was the best either.

Always reliable good food and service at Joey's. Barbeque salmon bowl was excellent. The beach salad was tasty and fresh. The hamburger is great for kids. Can't go wrong with shoestring fries. They split our orders up in half since we shared and didn't charge for this. Lots of drinks to choose from. Can get cheap street parking or lot underneath if you don't want to walk.

Jesse was very helpful when we were deciding what to get. He suggested peanut curry bowl for me and sushi and steak for my husband. We were both so happy with what we got. Food was delicious and the service was absolutely great. It was our anniversary and they wrote a nice happy anniversary on our dessert. Jesse and his team made our night.

Great place to chill and enjoy a drink and food with friends! Ordered the steak and lobster ravioli and was pretty impressed by the taste and crispy chicken burger with yam fries was alright. What i am un impressed was the portion sizes.. for $30, you were only given 4 pieces of raviolis and a tiny ounce of steak. More like tapas portions. It might be worth it for some but I wouldn’t say you would be missing out on anything if you didn’t order it. Location is great though, they offer complimentary parking spots. Would I go again? Maybe? But not mind-blown by the food to be honest.

Have gone here a few times now and it has been consistent. I love the off menu, crispy mash potatoes with hot wings and gyoza. Had the watermelon drink(alcoholic) and it's so light and refreshing. Orders spaghetti and the California burger. Honestly it's so damn good. The service is how service should be. Will definitely be coming back.

Wow, visiting the Burnaby location for the first time was a blast! The view of the SkyTrain passing by and all the skyscrapers around was such a cool experience. Plus, they've got free underground parking, which is a huge plus. Let me tell you about Nat, the lady who took care of our table. She totally rocked it! It didn't feel like she was just finishing up her shift; she was all about making our experience top-notch. So kind and professional, it was like she was doing her passion. And there was another lady making sure everything was running smoothly at our table too, she was also super impressive. These servers really know how to make a restaurant shine. Now, onto the food – it was out of this world! The blackened chicken was seriously divine, like it came straight from heaven. Definitely a must-try dish! If it's your birthday, just bring in the cake you've got. Trust me, they'll make it extra special. Their cake designs are seriously beautiful – like, OMG level!

What a wonderful experience! Joeys never disappoints. We arrived without a reservation at lunch time. The were quick and accommodating. Our server was friendly and funny. With all that’s going on right now in the world it was a breath of fresh air to visit joeys !! The restaurant was extremely clean and you could tell they were careful to follow all guidelines without it impacting your experience. Our food was fresh, hot and as always fantastic. Joey is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant. As a vegetarian, I love tofu bowls, wraps and veggie burgers. Also, apple pie is an unmissable dessert that can be shared by 2-3 people.

Friendly customer service and great location

After a bit of a stressful day, we went to Joey restaurant in North Burnaby to unwind and destress with a relaxing meal. Our server offered us a glass of champagne on the house. No special occasion. They just offered it for some reason. Who were we to say "no" to a free glass of Champagne? Especially as we needed to destress? Or course we happily accepted! Sushi Cone California Chicken burger Bombay Butter Tofu Frozen Lemonade The Sushi Cone was our daughter's pick. It came wrapped in rice paper instead of seaweed. She gobbled it up very happily. My husband raved about his burger. One of the best he's ever had. Bombay Butter Tofu: I didn't have very high expectations of this dish and almost didn't order it, thinking maybe I'd be better off ordering this kind of dish in an actual Indian restaurant. In the end I decided to give it a try and was very happy that I did. The tofu was crispy; I loved the flavor and level of sweetness in the sauce. This dish was awesome! I went to Joey’s with a friend for brunch and after sitting down and being greeted by our waiter, he let us know they don’t actually have a brunch menu! We were so sad, and decided to leave because we really wanted eggs Benedict. That’s when Nolan (our waiter) jumped in and said he was going to the kitchen make our delicious brunch! We were so surprised! I could see Nolan making our dishes from our seats and after eating his delicious creation we left Joey’s reallyyy happy! 🫶🏻 We were also served delicious mimosas by Alex! An amazing experience all around. We will never forget this, and wish to take this opportunity to ask the management team at Joey’s to PLEASE add brunch to their menu! 😂 We all love it! Recently dined at Joey's with our office group, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service, particularly from our waitress Zoe, was outstanding. Truffle fries were dry. The cheese on top of the fries was dry. Butter chicken was sour. Lack of standards for the prices they are asking. Go to cactus club instead.

We had the most AMAZING team holiday dinner in the Sky Bar at JOEY Burnaby and it was all thanks to Tessa and their incredible staff! The venue was absolutely perfect for our group, the food and drinks were top notch, and the JOEY team could not have been more accommodating. I would give 6+ stars if I could! Highly recommend for a company function or large group outing.

Fortunately, Joey put it on for us even tho they had put the program on hold during Covid. Our waiting crew of Tessa, Daniel and Nolan were Great. Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. We started with a bottle of Casalotta Brut Spumante when the 1st course of their tasty Hummus was served with great small pita breads warm and toasty, paired with the Seven Terraces Sauvignon Blanc. Course 2 of Seared Salmon Sushi followed. Course 3 was their Beach Salad with grilled chicken breast, lemon poppy seed dressing honey roasted sunflower seeds, goat cheese and strawberries. It was Delicious. We all raved about it. We then paired with a Louis M.Martini-Cabernet Sauvignon with complimented Course 4 of grilled sirloin, lobster+prawn ravioli with truffle beurre blanc quite nicely. Course 5 was capped off with Duo Donuts of vanilla + mascarpone cream and lemon curd. Quite tasty along with a couple of cappuccinos and Espresso Martinis. It was very well put together, great presentation and the service by Tessa, Nolan and Daniel was Great. Kudos to them. They made the evening most enjoyable. Will definitely return to Joey again. After reading my review I'd have to say I and we loved it, so I upgraded my review to 5 Stars.

Unexpectedly pleasant place. Waiters are mostly females in tight shirts and place seemed more like alcohol/ bar sales oriented. To our surprise the food was delicious! Steaks are bit small but i guess it reflects on the lower price. Salmon was great too and their home made apple pie with maple ice cream beats Austrian strudels! Will definitely return.

Came to this location a few times and great experiences so we decided to come here for my birthday! The Rooftop Patio was well decorated, service was excellent as usual and the food was spot on! They even surprised me with Italian Doughnuts 😍 What a treat, thank you!

Joey’s has always been one of my favourite go to place for their yellow fin tuna salad, famous apple crumble with vanilla ice cream or just their happy hour! It’s also where I would have my lunch meetings with clients for work. I missed out on the Turkey meal set during last thanksgiving and was hoping they would bring it back! Rest assured they did and there was also a promotion on the gift card. I wasn’t sure if I can use the gift card to pay and so I called the Burnaby location. I was greeted by Milen who was friendly and helpful. I asked her about the Turkey kit and she proactively helped me confirm if my order was made online. (It was and I was so happy 🙂) Being a deal finder, I asked her if I can purchase the gift card online or in store. She said that if it’s easier, she can help me with it and asked what would I prefer. Today I was heading out to dinner and so I told her I can drop by and grab the gift cards after work. When I got there, I was greeted with a smile and she had my gift card ready to go! She greeted with me a warm welcome and told me she was so happy she was there to help me! This is an amazing moment and made my day. She helped me with my transaction and offer to email me my receipt. I am so impressed with how Milen just took such a small inquiry to a great customer experience. I have shared with my friends and family about this experience and hopefully people that is reading this google review can benefit as well. Thank you Milen! I can’t wait to visit the local Joeys soon 😊

Your typical chain. Good place. Mediocre food. Nothing stands out but a good local spot for happy hour. Been coming here for yeas and will probably continue to. I like their happy hour here. Went for dinner with my son. Originally the plan was to go to another location but changed it to nearest one. Our server was really awesome and humble. We got two chicken burgers which were amazing but I felt one of them was bit undercooked. My son enjoyed it though. It was my first time trying the matcha drink and I had really good time. Overall awesome place. Definitely coming again.

The customer service was great as well the atmosphere. We had blackened chicken as well as burger. I would say the blackened chicken was good but the burger was only 3 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. I hope they work on their patty quality to make it match the rest of the items on the menu.

Came here as a large group, the staff were patient and friendly with all of us. They were able to take charge when required, as we did a bit of gathering vs getting seated and ordering. Definitely coming here again for smaller gatherings as well as larger gatherings if they allow for it. The food I had was solid drinks were refreshing

The ambience of the place is good. Nice to enjoy during happy hours. Been there a few times, the burgers are good. The menu for drinks in happy hour can be improved with more selections. The truffle fries were good on one occasion, but mostly were not upto the mark.

Me and my friend had THE BEST experience at Joey Burnaby this morning. Unfortunately Joey does not serve brunch but our incredible server Nolan literally cooked us a delightful brunch meal from scratch and we’re beyond grateful for such care and kindness. Must choose the lettuce wraps! The fillings has very rich taste. Having it with the lettuce is really tasty. Also recommend the truffle fries if you are a fan of truffle:) The brioche bun on the burger has rich butter smell and the texture is soft! The servers were very friendly. You will have good time to be here:)

Our waitress did not come to us for a long time had to ask another waitress to go get her . We ordered the food and mine was just bland . There was 0 taste coming from the "butchers sandwich " after eating this sandwich I'd recommend just taking it off the menu I was so disappointed from my first bite of my dinner to the last bite . Even after dipping the sandwich in the sauce provided, it tasted like nothing . Only reason they deserve a 1 star is because the fries were good and my drink was good .

Waited at least 20mins to order. Very slow service. My drink was watery when it came. Steak was excellent but I didn't enjoy the oven roasted wild cod with crispy rice and almonds. The almonds were mostly hole almonds and the rice was tough almost hard to eat.

This review is primarily regarding the poor quality food I got the night I visited, I ordered their crispy chicken burger and the fried chicken itself was literally 99% bread and no chicken, photos attached as reference. Our server was very friendly and understanding of this. However I left this review so that it is taken seriously because although I was not charged in the end for this, no one should expect to eat that when they go to a nice restaurant with great reviews.

Very accommodating towards large group last minute. Honestly I think Joey's is a bit underrated for a chain restaurant. I always love their crispy mashed potatoes. The hummus I had was excellent as well. Their truffle fries are amazing as well.

Went there to celebrate my mom's birthday. The food was great, and so was the service. When we had said that we were there for a birthday, they had turned our dessert into a beautiful sign without us even asking for it and my mom absolutely loved it!

Went for a happy hour visit. The truffle fries were really good especially with the sangria. We ended up getting a second order of the fries as well as the sushi cones. The sushi cones are also really good. Only thing I'd change is the sushi cone wrapper. I would prefer it to be seaweed but other than that, our happy hour visit was enjoyable. We usually order our staff lunch at Joey's and we have never had any issues. But when an issue arrived, Milen was able to swoop in and save the day. She was very kind, understanding and accommodating about the situation. She was nothing but amazing overall and made sure that we walked out with a positive experience. The food at this Joey's location is also always fresh and delicious by the time we eat it :) We thank her for leaving a lasting positive impression.

We had made reservations here for my birthday and I was shocked at all the attention we received. Bravo Joey Restaurant, you have made this girl extremely happy with your awesome pampering. The food and service was above par. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for a long time and continues to be a favorite.

Amazing service, food, drinks, and vibe! The food is also amazing. I got the hummus, my boyfriend got the chicken flatbread, and I got the lettuce wraps. All three items were delicious. We sat in the lounge which was a more social lively area. They also have a dining room which is quieter. They also have a beautiful patio, but it was closed when I went. I will definitely be returning!

Wow. This was the best thing I’ve ordered on Door Dash to date. I decided to spurge tonight and get the Herb Crusted Salmon and the Salted Caramel Pot de Creme. Dam. It was tasty. The salmon came with a crispy mashed potato and it was great. The dessert was my favourite part - SO GOOD. My food was hot when it arrived at my house, but I do live nearby so travel time was short.

Always a good experience overall. Just need to work on the speed of service that's all. Takes a long time to get drinks and food. Otherwise good is good, atmosphere is good, vibe is good.

Food quality has slipped since covid. Used to be joeys is quite stable and you can always get a great meal. However the last few visits weren’t as good as before covid. Food was quite salty, especially the rib bites appy. My lobster ravioli and steak was cold, plate wasn’t even warm. Covid protection is good. social distancing is in place (tables are spread out and has plexi glass between them) and the staff are all masked up. At 150 dollars for 2 people, I expected the food to be better. Service was fantastic as always. just food quality is slipping.

I enjoy Joey restaurants, they have really quality food. We ran a bit late and they accommodated us, I would have given five stars but they forgot a couple things, but great food, nice restaurant. Was there for my daughters tenth birthday so it was an important night for us. Well done, we'll be back.

Food and service were good. Me and my friend had the Salmon and it was good. We paid $29. each and it came with a crusted mash potatoes, and a generous portion of approuscas. The food was good value for money spent. Had two double Ceasars, there nothing special about it. One pickled been. This is our national drink, Joey's is a restaurant is somewhere you go on special occasion. Make the drink special. Again service was good, our waitress was awesome and her co-workers helped her clear our plates and serve of drinks, which helped with the service and experience.

What can I say about the dry-tasteless-bland beef burger. Truly disappointed, if that's the standard please just serve a McD cheeseburger instead.

I knew the place was pricey when I went there, but oh my. I ordered two of the cheapest beer on the menu and my bill was $18. Google shouldn't have them rated only 2 out of 5 dollar signs when you can have two beers across the street for $11 (same google price rating). I'm inclined to give 2 out of 5 stars. No complaints about the staff or quality.
