Feeling
deceived
and
let
down
by
the
Holiday
Inn
Metrotown
Despite
booking
our
room
weeks
in
advance
and
doing
our
due
diligence,
we
were
sorely
disappointed
by
our
stay
at
the
Holiday
Inn.
Upon
arrival,
we
were
met
with
striking
hotel
staff
and
a
lack
of
housekeeping
services,
which
was
not
disclosed
to
us
beforehand,
nor
was
it
on
their
website.
This
is
an
utterly
deceitful
way
of
doing
business,
and
it's
unacceptable.
Furthermore,
we
were
promised
breakfast
as
part
of
our
room
rate,
but
it
turned
out
to
be
microwavable
breakfast
boxes
that
were
inedible
and
unappetizing.
We
chose
the
hotel
based
on
this
promise
and
were
sorely
disappointed,
and
if
we
had
known
beforehand,
we
would
never
have
stayed
there.
Adding
to
the
discomfort
was
the
unclean
toilet
seat,
which
was
unacceptable.
We
were
also
charged
for
parking,
which,
considering
the
other
problems
we
encountered,
was
inappropriate.
The
staff
made
no
effort
to
check
on
us
or
address
our
concerns,
and
our
checkout
process
was
rushed
and
unsatisfactory.
We
had
a
long
journey
ahead
of
us,
and
we
didn't
have
the
energy
to
argue
with
the
staff.
The
only
positive
aspect
of
our
stay
was
the
spacious
room
and
the
friendly
lady
serving
the
microwavable
breakfast.
Nonetheless,
we
are
extremely
unhappy
with
our
experience
and
would
like
to
speak
to
someone
in
charge
to
resolve
our
issues.
We
have
previously
written
to
the
Holiday
Inn
but
have
yet
to
receive
a
response.
My
best
advice
for
ownership
is
to
let
go
of
Scott.
