My favorite coffee in this area! Great atmosphere and beautiful interior. I usually drink Americano, but I LOVE their Vienna (nice spiced foam on the top with good quality coffee). All the desserts are pretty good as well, just like how I like them: not too sweet! Today I had their ice cream caffle, again, standing egg coffee doesn’t disappoint! It’s a cafe where you can spend a lovely afternoon with yummy food. P.S. baby friendly as the owner loves babies. Thank you! 🙏🙏

The atmosphere lured me in. Very cute place. The coffee is overpriced and garbage. I got a $7 latte that was obviously watered down and tasted like watery coffee with a little milk (picture included). My husband had an Americano that was very watered down. Surprising since they use coffee brands that are usually very tasty. I think they are cutting corners and topping up with water.

Owner lady forces you to buy 1 item per person, $6 for a waffle that is smaller than my finger. Coffee is bland. Come once and never again.

Cozy and calm atmosphere with one of the best spanish lattes i ever had. Barista/staff were attentive and helpful; and my latte was so good with perfect temperature ☕️👍🏻

The interior decor of this place is on point. A good place to chill, have little chat with your friends, or even study and work. The music is not really loud, enough to enjoy your cup of drink. The macaroons were so pretty and tasty, but I couldn’t really see the difference between the flavors. The drink was not bad.

I like the interior design of the cafe, together with the music they create a warm, relaxing and homely atmosphere. Only thing it the white lamp seem breaking it a bit. The sandwich is good compared to its price, while the sandwich is texture/taste rich, the taste of different ingredients stay well balanced. I especially like it’s sauce, suit very well with the sandwich. Even the sandwich is reheated, it still quite cool, this depend on own preference. The honey latte is fine, it got a sweet honey taste in it but not overly strong. Although from middle to last, the honey taste seems gone a bit, and comes very strong at last bite. Overall it worth a try, a quite unique taste.

On the pricier side for a cafe, but has a comfy ambiance. There was a wide selection of macarons and other desserts in a glass case, however most of them did not have a price in sight. My singular 'character' macaron ended up costing $4. Tried the Iced London Fog and Housemade Blueberry Ade. Definitely recommend the Ade if you love fruity flavours. It was also the perfect balance between tart and sweet. Also ordered the Matcha Yuzu cake. It was creamy, soft, and very smooth. The strawberries ontop were sour, but the yuzu jam in the center was my favourite! Unfortunately, it was almost $9 and I don't think I would pay that much again...

A nice cafe in a tucked away spot. It’s nice and roomy inside and the menu has a lot of offerings. Their pastry selection is vast and you might have a tough time choosing! I grabbed a large latte and the lemon tart. Both were a great way to start the morning right! The atmosphere was really nice to sit and study, read a book, or chat with a bunch of friends!

Went on a weekday afternoon and the place was no busy. There are many tables to choose from, mostly seating two to four people. There was no line up to order and the staff were patient while we perused the menu. The menu itself is relatively standard but may lack variety in alternative dairy options (i.e. almond milk, oat milk, etc.). Ordered a matcha latte (hot) and they give you a buzzer that will notify you when your drink is ready. Picked it up from the front after a few minutes and sat at a table. Staff did not urge us to leave and we were free to stay as long as we liked. Price point is more expensive than anticipated for the amount of drink you receive, but the atmosphere is chill and laidback. The music is a little loud for casual conversation, but not overbearing. Would recommend for a casual meetup.

One of my favorite cafes to go to in the KTown area. Their coffee is really good, I normally just get an Americano. However, the sweet potato latte, and matcha latte are very good as well. Workers are always friendly, the tables are always getting cleaned up quickly, and a very cute/nice ambience.

Very cute spot. Not vegan/vegetarian friendly as far as food goes, but delicious treats. I had the panini with the meat taken out so it was cheese and egg. Honey latte was great too.

Grape fruit Tea was sweet and flavorful. However, weird vibration sound keeps working its job. It was bit annoying. Except that I like the place.

Korean cuteness! Some of the best macaroons... need I say more? Try one or two, but anymore the macaroons will take a bit out of your wallet.

I usually come here for their ambiance. Love how they decorated the place. Very reminiscent of all those trendy cafes in Korea.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Tried the Vienna. Loved it. I don't like lattes because it's too much milk, this was a happy medium. Free wifi but it's Telus, not sure how reliable that is

Right amount of acidity and bitterness. Lovely aery foam on Latte. Their coffee is a bit on pricey side, but definitely better quality than Starbucks. Recommend to spend some time to enjoy the ambience of the shop.

I really love their ambience and hand crafted drinks! We ordered seasonal ades and Italian sodas and they were so refreshing, we had to order second round of Italian sodas! Also all of their staffs were super friendly and accommodating. Would 100% go back again!

Cute local cafe--I've come here a few times for coffee and I think their standout drink item is their honey latte! It's sweet, but not as sweet as some of the drinks at Starbucks. I've also tried some of their pastry and cakes--they're pretty nicely done! I'm unsure if they're made in house but my cakes weren't dry, so that's a plus. Keep doing whatever it is you're doing!

I've been a loyal customer at Standing Egg Coffee for years, even before the pandemic, and I always wanted to love this place. However, the rising prices and changes in their offerings have made my experience more of a "meh". I still go there for their coffee, just not one of the top choices anymore. I fondly remember the days when their ham and egg sandwich cost just $5 for the whole thing. It was a scrumptious combination of egg, tomato, ham, cheese, and thin apple slices. At one point, they even included small fruits for dine-in customers. The price eventually went up to $8 for a whole sandwich, then it jumped to $7 for half the sandwich and now more recently, $9 for the whole. To make matters worse, they changed the recipe, and it's just not the same anymore. I used to drive 30 minutes just to enjoy their sandwiches, but now I no longer order them. On a positive note, their Americano is still very good, even if it's a bit overpriced. The London Fog, leaning towards the sweet, caramel side, is just okay. The yuzu soda, ades, and peach colada smoothie are decent summer options, but they're now somewhat overpriced as well. Their Jasmine Peach Iced Tea is a winner with its clean and refreshing taste, but it has also become more expensive, going from around $5 to nearly $7. The atmosphere at Standing Egg Coffee remains nice and cozy. If you plan to study or work, you'll need to grab one of the spots near the windows by the front where the power outlets are mostly located. They also have a small, decent bookstore/gift store at the back, which is great for quick purchases and gifts. In conclusion, while Standing Egg Coffee retains its nostalgic charm, the rising prices and changes in their menu have diminished the overall experience. Though there are still some great options available, it no longer holds the same irresistible appeal that it once did.
