Hidden Gem!!! Reasonably priced vegan Vietnamese. Good portions, with lots of veggies. Large menu with lots of well known favorites, just all meatless.

I really like their new concept! It's very clean and nature-like. You order up at the counter and everything else is self-service. As a result the service is much quicker, and the food is absolutely amazing! My favorite is the crispy noodles and stuffed eggplant. The customer service is amazing and they make their customers feel happy and special. I highly recommend this place!

Great place for vegan Vietnamese food. Got the stuffed tofu eggplants and it was soo good! Also tried the salad rolls and their peanut sauce is amazing; they also give you a huge container of dipping sauce. There is no skimping on portions here. My husband had the curry fried rice and loved it as well. We will be back :).

I’ve been eating here for 10 years and have never had a bad meal. The food is consistently amazing. Try their vegan chicken curry, it’s to die for! I moved away for a number of years and have come back home to the same comforting food I remember from years back. Love that they are consistent. Daryl at the front counter is such a lovely person. He always greets me by first name, which is something I rarely experience. Top notch food and customer service!

It was about hour each way via skytrain/bus and we are already planning our second trip! The food is delicious and they went the extra mile. Great stuff. If you are vegan, have food restrictions or just want very healthy food? Nam Vegan Express is as good as it gets.

Had been looking to try this restaurant for a while as my girlfriend is vegan although I am essentially a carnivore. Food was great. The wonton soup was very good, the spicy lemon grass v-chicken (tofu) were very juicy (girlfriend's favourite), and the eggplant curry claypot was my favourite as the flavour was great. I haven't yet tried the two deserts as these three dishes have left me and my grilfriend completely full. Furthermore, for the price of two mains at any other restaurant you can get at this restaurant an appetizer, a soup, two mains, and both desert. The pricing is honestly unmatched given the portion sizes. We had plent of food left over for lunch tomorrow.

This is my father and my favorite restaurant in the lower mainland we are regulars, with the most delicious and nutritious vegan food, it so tasty! The owner is an angel and often has amazingly interesting conversations with her customers if they wish to have a conversation. She is very polite/thoughtful and good at reading if people wish to talk or just wish to enjoy quiet while they enjoy their meal. Fair prices and good portions too, always fresh vegetables. Nice peaceful atmosphere with nice pictures on the wall, clean, tidy.

Great food at a great price. The "pork" rolls were an excellent appetizer. We also enjoyed the veggie pho and wonton soup. Some of the veggies on the chow mein were a little too soft, but still good! I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes.

This place makes you feel like you’ve entered a little pocket of Southeast Asia. From the moment that you walk in, the place greets you with it’s warm ambience. Food was absolutely delicious. The noodles were light, juice was refreshing! Everything had a different exotic taste. 10/10 highly recommend !

Lovely vegan spot for a quick lunch. Service was fast, food was tasty, and they had a refined menu that covered all the typical dishes you'd expect without complicating things. Easy to find parking, with a clean interior aesthetic. Love how environmentally conscious they are too!

One of the best vegan restaurants in the Lower Mainland. Been coming here since it was called Paradise. Highly recommended. Huge number of options in the menu. Darryl is friendly and awesome! Insider information: ask for vegan Nasi Lemak (Malaysian dish) - not on the menu, and be prepared to be amazed. All dishes here are delicious. I know many who come from out of town just for this restaurant. Do visit this restaurant and you will thank me later.

Everything I had was excellent and very tasty. My favorite go-to items is the stuffed eggplant and bun bo hue noodle soup. Really flavorful and well-cooked. Service is friendly as well. Thanks for making great vegan food available! 🌱🤗

Loved their dishes and they're located in a commercial complex, so parking is convenient whether you dine in or take out. Favourite dishes were their vegan pho (the broth was so fragrant), chicken curry with vermicelli, and sautéed garlic v-beef. I'm not sure what their v-meats are made from, perhaps bean curd? It was a fair substitute in taste. The curry had a good flavour and nice amount of sweet potatoes, although a tad salty. The noodle dishes were the best price point for a meal! We'd skip the sweet and sour v-chicken next time around. We found there to be too much sauce for the ingredients included. The v-beef was a better value! The curry combination fried rice was OK. Good amount of veggies included but wish the curry flavour was stronger. Overall a really good meal for the price, and loved the vegan and GF options. Will be back!

Food was ok but we ordered a gluten-free entree, being sure to confirm with them (twice) that they knew it had to be gluten-free. When our order arrived, it was clear that the entree had not been made gluten-free.

This place surpassed my expectations and I am very happy we decided to give it a try! We had the garlic beef, ginger v-chicken, eggless rolls & crispy veg chowmein and they were all very tasty! My favourite was the garlic beef if I had to recommend just one. If you enjoy plant based dishes then I highly recommend trying this place out!

Nam Vegan is easily one of my top meals for take out. I like that their dishes are vegetable heavy and that they are committed to healthful cooking that feels home made. The vegetables in curry sauce is delightful paired with the combination fried rice and the stuffed eggplant. An order of fresh rolls is the perfect accompaniment to the meal along with the strawberry shortcake that makes you nostalgic of Aunty made birthday cake from your childhood. Nam has a varied menu that is worth discovering further and the new management is pleasant and treats us like family.

This tiny nook is a fully-vegan restaurant offering Vietnamese dishes. We ordered a multitude of dishes from eggless fried rolls to DIY wraps. All the dishes tasted amazing and we had a great experience. The seating is COVID-friendly and the service is good.

Ordered takeout from here for the first time tonight and all I can say is WOW! Amazing food! Great service, even though it was just take out. My partner, who isn't vegan, was so impressed. Will definitely be ordering from here again. :)

Previously known as Paradise Vege... menu is same if not reduced. Food is tasty, limited dine in but cosy and clean environment. Self help concept and all paper/plastic recyclable utensils. Would have given 5 star if not because of the long wait. Order in advance,at least an hour in advance. They definitely need more help in kitchen to improve serving time but overall that was the only turn off. Food is tasty give them a try.

Amazing Vegan Vietnamese food! I come here regularly and the food is Always Fresh, tasty with Generous Portions and very Reasonable prices!! I get the veggie chowmein, ginger vegan chicken, fresh salad rolls, brown rice and mix veggie curry adding vegan chicken!! So happy i discovered this place years ago...you definitely will be glad you came here too!

This is my favourite vegan spot in the lower mainland. Darryl always draws the cutest cartoons on my take out bag and they have several tasty gluten-free options that work for me. Try the "fish" salad roles - they're addictive. One day I hope they will be open 7 days a week because Sundays-Tuesdays my husband has to remind me each week they are closed :)

Was drawn here by the many interesting vegan options and the taste did not disappoint. Will definitely be back for more. Also love that they aim to be low-waste.

As first time customers, we didn’t really know what to order. The person who took our order wasn’t able to recommend any thing; couldn’t even tell us which dishes were popular so we ended up ordering randomly from the menu whatever dish name appealed to us. Mixed results. Some dishes were really good, some were meh. The cafe should have a photographic menu which would be a lot of help to diners.

Not a vegetarian. But do love trying vegetarian food. Good selection on menu. The noodles soup was delicious. Considering it's not bone broth based. Flavorful and tasty. Presentation of food was excellent. Price is great. Portion was good. Restaurant was clean which is a mandatory for me. Great little spot for the vegetarian foodies!

While it is named vegetarian, it is a fully vegan restaurant. They offer Asian dishes ranging from curry friend rice to vegan seafood and vegetable soup. I tried the vermicelli with fried eggless rolls and they were great. I also tried their red bean cake and it was really good! It’s the vegan restaurant option Burnaby needed.

This place is my go to when I dont feel like cooking. Considering inflation their prices and food portions are quite good. They are one of the few vegan spots in the area and I really appreciate their service. They know my voice over the phone and know exactly what I want in my takeout. They have this vegan cake which they make and it is one of my favorite vegan cakes - not too sweet, not to bland, just perfect balance. I recommend this place for anyone!

This is a 5/5 stars 💯 %! If it’s this good next time…cos I DEFINITELY returning, then I give it a 6/5! It’s that flippen goood! I had the vegan pho and the crispy Chow Mein. It’s epic in every way! Honestly, i don’t want to post more because it will get to busy and I’ll have to wait! A fellow dinner, even asked me if I wanted to try one they’re Sautéed Garlic Beef balls! Geez it was just incredible ( let alone the fact that this dude offered me to taste it!) that’s the kind of place this is! CREATIVELY BRILLANT ! Love this place and love the vibe it creates! The Essence of vegan is here!

My kid likes the sweet tea. The broth is very nice, noodle size is big. We also like the spring roll and the deep fried v-chicken. Nice and kind service too. Very good deal! Just one thing to improve is the washroom.

Paradise Vegetarian reminds my most favourite place in the entire BC. There is simply no match to the love that the owner puts into her business here. The best vegan dishes in the town for sure! I love their curry soup. It's an explosion of flavours. Fair prices, friendly staff and absolutely delicious food! I highly recommend this place. Can I do 6 out of 5? 💚

Great vegan alternative Vietnamese food. Lots of fake vegan meat options. No msg used in soups. Service is one lady so when busy don’t expect quick service. Hours are 12-3 and 5-9.

Had a really bad experience at this place. The noodles were raw and the seasoning was very blended. The owner was very kind. Tried to call to explain my disappointment, but couldn't get a hold of anybody.

My family and I love eating here. The owner is so friendly and pleasant to interact with. All the food is delicious. Our favourite is the chicken and broccoli with black bean sauce. We normally make it our Saturday night routine to order from paradise noodle. We have never been disappointed with our meals

The place is owned by 2 sisters that are serving vegan meals to this community for many years. The son now helps to run the place and it is looking really great. Service and food are delicious

Started ordering take out here more regularly during the pandemic. The food is fresh and tasty, a lovely option for a healthy and filling meal. The stuffed eggplant tofu dish, salad rolls and rice rolls are my favourites, the vegan pork is always delicious. Interior was recently updated and looks very nice! Chill music and good staff. Hours are a bit limited but well worth catching on days they’re open. This place gets busy, but easy to place an order in person and take a stroll around the nearby parks, staff work diligently to prepare orders so the wait is never long :)
