I am not a big fan of samosas as they tend to be greasy. When I had a potato samosa from Agra I wasn’t disappointed. Not greasy and great taste in the filling. Just enough spice to add a bit of kick to it. Best to eat them while they’re still hot. Someone brought a case of them to work and it was a big hit. Everyone loved them. A great choice for an appy idea!

Cheap and tasty Indian sweets. In fact I'm not sure what I should ordered, so I asked the gentleman to give me a variety of things to try. He must have thought that I was crazy because I was asking for things not too sweet at an Indian sweets shop! But he did give me items that were quite aromatic and tasty, all great suggestions! Yes these were on the sweeter side 🤠 but they went very well with strong black tea! So I'll definitely go back there again!

Inexpensive compared to other Indian restaurants in this area. Tried their butter chicken, Shahi paneer and lamb curry combos. Shahi paneer was nice so was butter chicken. Lamb curry tasted bland though. Staff and service were ok.

Been buying samosas here very years, always warm and ready for order. Good price and comes with sauce. Spicy but not too much. Love this store and wouldn’t buy anywhere else

We have been living in the Burnaby/New West area for 10 years now and have frequented many of the local Indian Restaurants. Agra Sweets is undoubtedly our favourite. I come from a south Asian family and in my opinion, Agra is the most authentic and flavourful when it comes to its delicious curries, and you get a good value for what you pay for; it’s cheaper than the competition but the quality and flavour is superior, in my opinion. We regularly order the Goat curry and the Daal turka, I highly recommend these. The texture is phenomenal and the flavours are very warm and comforting with the right amount of spice. The dishes aren’t super oily either. The goat meat is very tender and is seasoned perfectly. The curry is velvety and pairs well with the well cooked meat. The lentils in the Daal are also wonderfully seasoned, the onions add a crunchy texture that pairs well with the soft lentils and velvety curry. Each curry comes with free naan bread too! I also have to give some praise to the sweets, the gajrela (sweet carrot squares) are amazing, pillowy texture and a sweet, subtle taste. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This is a decent Indian sweets shop. Unlike Baba sweets where Jalebi’s were fried in stale-old oil, here jalebi taste was much better in taste. Kaju katli is basic and not too sweet. Salty items like Namak Parey, mixtures etc looking fresh and well kept. My only issue was with the packing lady. She seemed okay in the beginning but later when we were making our choices, she showed annoyance when we changed our decision about the number of items we were asking her to pack. You are in a service job, learn manners and control your temper. A few more negative comments about your behavior and you attitude will bring a bad reputation for your shop on Google maps. So watch out you short tempered lady. I would go back there again but if the lady misbehaved again, I will change my star rating to 2.

Decent spicy samosas, well-packed with spices and herbs. Takeout available. Neighbouring competing sweet shop and restaurants. Free street parking, and at rear.

Best vegetable samosas, and the best Vegetable pakoras. I have been coming here for 10 years with my family. Very fresh and flavourful and crisp. They have many vegetarian options here. They are always very kind and friendly to my Mother.

A place for Indian dessert and snacks delicacy. We came to the area for business, and we had a wonderful time munching on pakora. Will definitely visit again to try more of their sweets varieties.

Small takeout eatery offering a variety of Indian sweets, snacks, and samosas. Visited in the morning. Transit accessible via the #106 bus, with bus stops on both directions within a block away. Plenty of street parking, in front and on the side street. Photos are their samosas, at $1.05 each. Opened one up to show fillings

I was one of the most regular customer of them. One time they messed up my order. Naan was undercooked and curry were so watery. I called and told them its ok, please just fix it. When i went there. The cook came in front of me and start spooning the curry saying it is a perfect consistency and he saud just take your money and go. He didn't even try to find the order. It might be good but i know there taste. Honestly i wont go back after such bad behavior. I dont want to waste 2 hours and no have food and come back humiliated.

Good variety of Indian desserts or sweets. We got the milk cake, Gulab jamun and kalakand. Milk cake and kalakand were perfect. Me and my wife both liked the food.

Bought a few sweets from there today. Samosa, laddu and gujiya(I hope the name is right). Samosas were good.Laddu is not fresh. Guiya has gone stale inside. I called up and asked for refund for the gujia. They just denied it. They get these sweets made from somebody else. So no responsibility from the seller. So it is up to the buyers duty to try the items there itself and make sure it is good! Duh!

Some dishonest people behind the counter at times. They helped someone else while they were helping me and I had to wait while someone after me got in and out before me. Not that hard to have decent customer service. Told the old man I wanted two peices of something and he ignored it and put 7 peices charging me according. Only tried the Sweets and the prices are good so I've tried going back 3 times in a few weeks and now I won't come back because of the customer service..

Nice people working there. Ordered the spinach curry with paneer (Palak paneer). 10 min wait, and it was ready and fresh and hot. Enough for 2 people. Ready-made samosas for a buck each? Cmon really good price and again fresh. I think the best deal for Indian food in Burnaby. Also tried their butter chicken, very good! Oh, and the desserts, treats, also looked amazing.

Have been ordering Indian snacks from this place for years now but during my recent visit my experience was not that great. Last week I ordered Veg. Pakoras, paneer pakoras and some Besan but the quality of veg. pakoras was not good it tasted like deep fried flour and nothing else, no potatoes, no onions, no methi nothing at all. The only reason I gave this place a 2 star is cuz there besan (sweets) was good. I was very disappointed with the snacks.

Craving for Indian chat, Garam Samosa aur Jalebi?? You will get it at Agra sweets. It’s a good place, they need to work on their Mithai quality. Otherwise it’s good!!

Food quality and service was great. I rate it 4 star because of the ambience which is relatively bare bones. The person at counter was super nice and allowed us to sample their sweets. Shahi Paneer was the best we have had anywhere in Vancouver. Worth a visit if you don't want to go all the way to Surrey.

I went in for some paneer pakoras to take home and enjoy later. I decided to try a sweet while they got my order together. It was delicious. I was glad to see they had a sink with hand soap and paper towels at the back of the shop so I could wash my hands before eating finger food. The prices were very reasonable and lower than I’ve seen within Vancouver. Service was friendly. The paneer pakoras were quite decent if slightly more salty than I prefer and the sauce was delicious and included with the order. I enjoyed them enough that I’ll likely pick some up any time I find myself out this way again.

Never disappointed with their samosas. While they're small, they're a good price and delicious. If we're not eating them fresh, we toast them. They freeze well so we always buy more. Service is not the best but it depends who you get.

Popped in one day with a craving for SAMOSAs. I just bought 2. Gobbled them up in the car. YUM! Since then we have been back many times. We go for 12, but the box fits 15, so we buy 15. The filling is mostly potato with a few peas. Nicely spiced with the right amount of heat. Not greasy. Perfectly crispy. The sauce is good, too. The owners are always pleasant and greet us with a smile. A great idea is to take a box of Samosas to a party. Everyone will love them. Deeeelicious. We will have to try some other items on their menu. We love AGRA Sweets and highly recommend them. Two thumbs up!
