I don’t live close by , but I would come back here a million times for their breakfast! Everything felt like you were going over to your favourite grandparents house. It was so homey. Everyone felt like family which I feel just made everything so much better. The price’s are great. The food and portion sizes were amazing ! The customer service was fantastic ( considering there was only one woman working the front and she had everything under control and running smoothly) Very impressed by everything.

The place was cozy, very busy and clean. Staff all were friendly and attentive. The German is really really good one of the best sausages I had at a diner. The bacon and ham were very good as well. I was not the biggest fan of the potatoes as they were dry and got stale very fast. The eggs only come as an omelette however it is a really good omelette and it’s 3 EGGS!! It also comes with a side of toast, I ordered the sour dough and it was really good bread compared to most breakfast spots. But I would 100% come back for the pancake, it was the best pancake I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of fluffiness, not too dense and not soggy. It was also massive and perfectly browned. Update: Just tried one of the specials, sweet chili chicken served with rice and steamed veggies. The chicken was really juicy and flavourful, not overly sweet or salty. They give loads of rice and quite a lot of steamed fresh veggies. Would definitely try again. Also tried the breakfast poutine, hands down have THE BEST gravy I’ve ever had at a resturant. Would highly recommend any of the poutines. Just tried the pork burger, so good. Massive burger, fresh veggies. The sausage patty was nice and salty complimented with the house sauce, so rich in flavour.

Very nice food, place and staff. Usually going on weekdays are better since it gets really busy on weekends. I suggest going early in the morning though, sometimes the wait for the food can be long but totally worth it if you’re not in a rush. Portions are huge for the price and very tasty German styled food. They also do takeout and has free parking!!

Hidden gem! Amazing breakfast place serving up German breakfasts. House made sausage was awesome. Will definitely be back. Hard to find and off the beaten track for restaurants, if you think you're in the wrong place when maps tells you you've arrived, it's probably right.

Such a hidden gem in Burnaby. Yummy German breakfast with good portion. Although we waited for food for around 40 minutes but very friendly services. Highly recommended.

Nice spot for breakfast. The size of portions is satisfactory. Taste is good. They don't accept any of visa cards. Make sure you have either enough cash or a mastercard debit with you.

Oh my, been a while since we have been here, but the breakfast is pretty tough to finish in one sitting for an older guy. The young lady taking our order said the German breakfast is the most popular and it was massive and a ton of meat. Really enjoyed it.

This place is amazing. Awesome food with big portions. The staff and prices are great too. If you're hungry, make sure you try their signature German Breakfast, you won't be disappointed.

It's so good! The pancakes with fruit are really good, the right amount of sweet! And the German breakfast deluxe was amazing! Everything on our plates was so so good and the hazelnut coffee was amazing! The guy I was with loved the German breakfast and he is German lol

Wow! This place is so good. It’s really a no-fuss place with nice breakfast options. They don’t care about being “on-trend” and only have 1 type of coffee and it’s self-serve drip coffee served in mugs that looks like they were rescued from the 90’s, but boy is the food amazing! We had the sausage sampler but husband asked to have the spicy sausage removed from it and replaced with a regular sausage (he doesn’t do spicy). He still thought the longanisa sausage was “a little spicy” but I loved it. I tried the spicy sausage in a breakfast sausage roll instead - a tortillawrap with bacon and eggs and it was amazing. I will try it with the longanisa sausage next time, I found it to be more flavorful (in a more subtle way than the spicy). The home made Mayo is amazing too, and tastes rather mustardy - very German! I also had to order the blueberry pancakes as they were supposed to be good, and they were not only the biggest breakfast pancakes I’ve ever seen, but also the best tasting ones. The blueberries were so fresh (to be fair, they’re in season now!) and they were so fluffy and perfect. Not overly sweet like some American style ones. I’m so glad we stumbled over this little gem. We are also grateful they still have a patio going as we are not yet comfortable dining indoors due to covid.

Great little find. Huge portions for a great price. Really good fresh local food. Their home made hot sauce is the bomb diggy. I'll be back and I recommend.

Such a great breakfast spot! Our kids both ordered a single chocolate chip pancake… and WOW, these pancakes are spectacular (and massive)! Hashbrowns are sliced, pan fried baby potatoes; sausages are homemade; potato pancakes are tasty with shredded veggies mixed in. Great quality ingredients, hearty food and very reasonably priced. Well worth driving a little off the beaten path to enjoy a meal here!

Wonderful German Breakfast !!! (at lunch time) Potato pancake, my favorite. A reviewer mentioned... extra potato pancake....I agree. It is delicious. I would get an extra one if possible. Someone mentioned bacon bacon bacon... indeed tons and so good. Omelette had onions, lots cheese. Everything was delicious. If you dont think will have enough food, the German Breakfast Deluxe comes with Schnitzel and gravy on a side plate. Someone didn't have dinner after this. I packed part of my breakfast for my son to try, and still I had LOTS of food. Enjoy!! Pictures show the lane from the main road, easy to miss driving by but watch for the green sign. Drive in the lane thats almost across from Adera. Trying a weekday would be better, I have the feeling is packed weekends... haven't checked it out though. A lineup to order food formed at 1 pm on a Friday, 45 min after we ordered. Restaurant closes at 2. Country style pleasant atmosphere. Don't expect fancy. I know I gave it a 5 :)

I had the pleasure of dining at Fraser Park Restaurant, and I must say, their beef schnitzel is my absolute favorite. It's not easy to find a schnitzel that's both perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, but this restaurant nailed it. The crispy coating and tender beef inside were simply delightful. If you're a schnitzel enthusiast like me, you won't be disappointed here. One thing to note about Fraser Park Restaurant is that their hours of operation are limited, with service only available until 2 pm. While their food is undeniably delicious, this early closing time might be something to consider when planning your visit. So, if you're looking for a hearty German meal for lunch or an early dinner, this restaurant is a fantastic choice, but make sure to time your visit accordingly.

Hidden in a remote corner of South Burnaby, in an industrial business park is Fraser Park Restaurant, a gem of a restaurant that serves up some incredible eats for both breakfast and lunch. A word of caution: The portions here are huge, so make sure to come with an empty stomach! Featured here: German Deluxe Breakfast Al's Breakfast French Toast Quesadilla French Toast comes with 4 pieces for the full order, and 2 pieces for the half order. I opted for the half order and am ever so glad that I did as the two pieces were plenty enough already while still leaving me just enough room in my stomach to sample a few of the other foods on the table! Oh, and I absolutely loved my French Toast! Some places serve huge portions of food, but then the food itself ends up being just mediocre. Not at this place. This was one of the best French Toasts I've ever had! Even before taking one bite of it, I could already smell how good it was. I'd like to try new things on their menu whenever next I come here, but at the same time....the French Toast was just so good. It would be extremely difficult for me to resist ordering it again! My thoughts upon seeing the German Deluxe Breakfast: "Holy mound of food Batman!" And the pancakes that came with Al's Breakfast...they were so huge that they filled the entire plate, so the bacon & scrambled eggs were served on an entirely separate plate. Oh, and the pancakes...they are the bomb as well! They were fluffy, filled with banana and soooooo good! There's a homemade hot sauce at this restaurant that is a "must try" for anyone who's a hot sauce lover! If you're looking to skip over fancier breakfasts like croffles or eggs benedict and just want a casual place that serves up hearty, filling and tasty food then Fraser Park Restaurant has everything you need! Service: Good Parking: Free Location: 4663 Byrne Rd., Burnaby

Flavor and portion size was great, and really enjoyed the beef and barley soup, which was filling and actually had chunks of beef in it. The schnitzel tasted good, but the breading wasn’t as crispy as I expected it to be. My friend ordered the breakfast platter and the portion size was huge; I think I will likely try and order it next time. Would recommend trying this place if you’re in the area!

Delicious hidden gem if you're looking for a hearty meaty breakfast. Order your food at a counter and you'll be given a number. And food will be served at your table. There is indoor and covered outdoor seating. We had the regular breakfast and a soup.

Wonderful spot for a solid no-frills meal at very reasonable prices! Delicious food and great service. Needed a meal item substitution due to allergy and they were generous adding more of another item in its place. Will definitely be back.

Hidden between industrial area there lies this small German style breakfast brunch place. Limited menu with amazing choices. Can not beat their potato pancakes.

My food was actually pretty good! Just minus a star there because it should've read "inspired" by an English Breakfast ;) Wasn't the proper sausage or bacon, or even beans... But! It was still a very good breakfast! I'll be back to try the German breakfast. Also for those wondering, I took another star off for the service because man... The staff working today (Saturday) made me feel like I was doing them an absolute injustice by being there lmao! The guy working the register was so quick to tell me it would be a 30 minute wait (restaurant was maybe a 1/4 full at 8:30am) but then seemed pretty annoyed when I said "no problem I'll wait..." 🤣 Man, lol. Well, again, I'll still be back because the food was really good, and the value for money was also good. If my experience regarding the service is different next time I'll be sure to update this review.

I want to preface this with the fact that we were there 40 minutes before closing so they may have been preparing to close up shop. Walking in here was quite confusing as I had to wait a good while before somebody was at the counter to take my order, I was starting to thinking maybe it's one of those sit at the table type places but nope just no one to help at the moment. They only had a cook, a dishwasher and server in at the time; at least it seemed so I just chalked that up to them being ready to close. We were ordering for my family we had ordered blueberry pancakes, Spanish omelette and beef dip. Each item was coming out seemingly after 10-15 minutes of the other and I was getting ready to get a refund and skip my food. To be honest I'm glad I stayed, the last item was really good (beef dip), actually all of it was but just tragically slow. Place was just so confusing I saw people coming up and getting coffee refills on their own I thought it [coffee] was free, still not sure if it was. Wanted water but the server was gone so long that I poked around found a water jug and filled own our glasses, they even had stuff on different boards all around so it wasn't simple to see all they had too offer. Honestly seems like a great place but my experience this time was sour'd by service short comes, I can live with scattered menus but service is the thing that makes it all work.

Wow. This place really needs some dedication to travel to, but it is worth the time. Truly one of the best diners in town. Huge portions, that greasy spoon appeal, and incredibly tasty. I got the German breakfast deluxe. The schnitzel on its own is worth the visit. I didn't even take a picture of it because it disappeared so quick! Come hungry and best to come early. I got the last schnitzel of the day around 12pm on a weekday.
