Great food and service! It's a smaller space but the seating was good and had partition still for health & safety. I appreciate that! I had the spicy cold noodle, pork dumplings and bibimbap. Will come back for their tofu soup next time!

First time here- food taste good, I’d say something typical in a Korean restaurant. It’s not a bad thing but you know it’s consistent with others. I’d say pass on the fried clams and shrimp salad for its price you can order better dish for a little bit more money. Surprisingly the miso soup was actually really tasty! we didn’t plan to eat the miso soup, but we tried it in the end and we regretted not eating it sooner.

Not the best Korean restaurant compared to the ones near Louheed but the fried chicken tastes okay. The Mayo rice bowl with chicken tastes a bit strange to me and all other dishes didn’t impress me. Dishes are in decent portion though. It is not very busy on Sunday night and there are still a few parking spaces left in front of the store. The Christmas music makes it a pleasant dining experience. The wait time is like 12 minutes which isn’t too bad.

I recently dined at DooBoo Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. The food lacked seasoning, and even a basic element like salt seemed missing. I had to resort to adding hot sauce just to add some flavor, but it ended up overpowering the dish. It's possible that my taste preferences differ, and this cuisine might be better appreciated by those who have a fondness for Korean flavors

Easily 5/5 stars ⭐️ Really reasonable prices for good food and great service. Theyre generous with their side dishes (kimchi, tofu, onions), meaning unlimited refills when you ask. We got the Soup + Bulgogi combo (w/ extra rice). The portion was great for two. Total before tax was around $29. Wow! Barely see that kind of prices dining out for two anymore. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Spent 3 hours here eating and chatting. The staff here are sweet and pleasant and we were not rushed. They have all your usual Korean dishes plus we tried the spicy cod cheeks and were very impressed. The flavour was just right! Definitely a place to go if you're in the area and craving Korean food.

The place was full on non peak hours. We were asked to wait outside after writing our phone number on the board. It took about 15 minutes to get a table and we ordered right away for Kimchi stew and soft tofu soup. Both were above average in taste and portion size. And being Korean, I know how tofu and kimchi are supposed to taste, and they didn't disappoint. We were little skeptical before going in but we are now convinced we will come back here. Edit: We returned to try their LA short ribs and it was spot on. It was better and more served than other restaurant which we recently visited.

The fried chicken salad is great value for the amount of meat you get, though the salad portion is just a small clump of cabbage. Rice cake was soft and tender if you prefer this style, though the "white" (non-spicy) option is a bit lacking in flavour. The stone bowl rice was great. Portions are pretty good at this price point. Would come again.

This was our first time here. We were surprised to find a Korean restaurant in this area (this was previously a ramen restaurant). The staff were very nice and would often done check up on us. It had a nice atmosphere with good music and vibes. It was also very clean. The menu isn't much different than other places, but it's pretty much the same as House of Tofu soup by Lougheed. The portion sizes were smaller though, and a little more expensive. The food itself was nice. It was pretty salty though, so we couldn't finish it. Come here if you're with a group, since they have lots of appetizers (Warning: very small portions). They have some interesting choices like deep fried clams. We finally realized Dooboo means tofu in Korean, so that was cute. The logo is cute too. Defs come check this place out. They even allow reservations which Lougheed restaurants don't.

Surprisingly good place to get your tofu fix. The curried tofu was so good I wanted to back and get more. The soybean milk was spot on. And the creamy silk tofu with brown sugar was just right as a pick me up. Would recommend to come here and try it out.

One of the best Korean restaurants around It's one of those restaurants thay you will for sure crave to go back The pork belly was my favorite, the tofu soup was so tasty and the ingredients were very freah. You can choose from 5 different levels of spiciness. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff are super nice. It's not a very fancy place but yeah the taste of the food will make you go back very soon. I'll try the short ribs next time as the waitress recommended but I was craving for pork belly so next time I'll try the short ribs and the seafood tofu soup 🤩🤩

We had Korean sweet and spicy fried chicken, Bibim noodles, and pork and kimchi tofu pot. Everything was delicious, taste was authentic and the portions are good! One of the best Korean restaurants in Burnaby and seems like they put attention and care into their food.

Great spot! Surprised to see some good vegetarian options. Definitely not vegan friendly. Had the rice cakes and vegetable pancake and would recommend them.

Were very hungry so we decided to come here. The food itself was very good, with kind staff. I will say that the pork belly was a little dry but nonetheless tasty. The prices were very reasonable and are definitely budget friendly. There wasnt that much parking.

Probably the best stone bibimbap I've had in Metro Vancouver so far. They even had an extra stone pot served with crispy rice. The pots were served in elevated wood boxes. The organization of the meat and veggies was so beautiful and the portions were big

One of the best Korean restaurants for Tofu soup. Other items on the menu look good also and I look forward to trying it in the near future. The Tofu soup is reasonably priced, which is a welcome when every restaurant is jacking up their price like crazy. It still comes with an egg that you can crack into your boiling stone pot. The rice that comes with the soup, they actually cook it in the stone pot for you.

horrible experience. we were harassed by a racist customer and the staff only watched and listened. didn’t feel safe here. The food was okay but other Korean restaurants are better.

Very good authentic Korean restaurant. I really enjoyed the fish roe bibimbap and the tofu soup! Strongly recommend. Parking is limited in front so rely on local street parking

Comfort home cooked style Korean place in south Burnaby. Attentive service and feels family run and inviting. They have delicious cold noodles, tofu hot pot and other delicious staples like japchae. Recently we had the KFC in honey garlic flavour and it was a bit toooo much garlic. A bit overpowering. And the chicken was a bit undercooked. And our bulgogi beef was over cooked so that it felt on the jerky side texture. All in all I would still come back but maybe not for the kfc to be safe.

This is a family-owned restaurant along Kingsway in Burnaby. Very homey interiors. Food was really good. Ordered the pancakes, tofu soup and mayonnaise rice. My picky daughter loved it. Gets busy after 6.30, not many seats inside. So be prepared ro wait. very orderly..u write your name and wait outside. Server will call you when a table becomes available. Will be back for sure.

The aroma of delicious Korean food embraces you as you enter this local restaurant. We were really looking forward to trying this place out given the high ratings. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the dishes we tried this visit. Food: Appetizer sized chicken salad: nicely done and not greasy. The finely sliced cabbage greens garnish were fresh. Japchae yam noodles: a decent portion but arrive watery and lacked seasoning. It is possible due to the spinach and onions sweating out. Soft tofu soup: (had the mushroom option) but were surprised it only came with one type of mushroom: button mushrooms- there were no traditional Korean mushrooms. Overall this dish needed more depth of flavour. Rice was perfectly cooked. Overall service was cordial and parking was easily accessible in the front lot.
