Super packed and busy during it's peak hours. The bars menu is pretty normal. Prices are slightly higher than the other places. Great place to go with your family/S/O/Friends . Not so much of a great place to catch a drink by yourself. Edit : 28/03/2022 Great place for a date , a friends night out or even a family dinner. Prices sway slightly towards the higher end. Food was of great quality and quantity. The servers and other staff were very friendly and quick.

Ordered 3 dishes. Out of the 3 only one was decent that is why I gave a 2 star. I ordered the Alfredo… the chicken was beyond dry and burnt, I usually can look past that because the Alfredo sauce will make it edible. Unfortunately there was absolutely no sauce. I took one bite and it was basically just buttered noodles. For $25 I could have made buttered noodles at home myself. They must have been hoarding the sauces today because we also ordered a burger..the amount of sauce was a dot the size of a quarter. Dry flavorless burger and dry flavorless pasta. Waste of almost $50. I wish I would have taken a photo of the burger but I don’t even think to. Disappointed especially since I used this as my cheat meal :(

came for brunch. it was a delicious basic eggs and hash. over medium eggs were cooked to perfection ! can’t complain about the bacon and sausage either ! truly great coffee too. great playlist and a chill vibe. our server Emily was so sweet and funny. she gave fast service and was willing to grab us what we needed. good brunch but a little overpriced.

My 2 little boys (age 6 and 4 )and myself enjoy this White Spot location . Friendly staff and attentive. Food is also very good. Can’t complain with their pirate packs and kids meal.

Had great dining experiences there. Their burger is yummy. It's so big that you will struggle to finish it. I also enjoyed their pasta. Their coffee and cheesecake are pretty good.

The servers were nice but kept forgetting things like water refills, requested napkins, fries refills. I think they must have had a minimum kitchen staff because despite not being very busy, our food took a while. The onion rings were huge and crispy but not over battered. The burgers were tasty and the gluten free buns were good quality.

Ordered salmon burger and cod burger. Both very tasty and well presented. Hostess seated us quickly, even though it was during a rush period. Table service was a bit slow and inattentive, no smile until we tipped her. Would go back again, and hope we get a different server?

Delicious food as you expect from other branches. This place was clean, quiet with friendly staff. Burgers are famous and very delicious. They are in decent size and come with a side. Fries is bottomless. I liked it more if our server was checking on us more frequently. It also had a nice bar, I saw some people quite enjoy it. Convenient free parking available in plaza and this branch has curbside designated parking

Staff is always great and a good selection of booth seating. Usually not too busy although good to make a reservation, having said that there have been a number of times I have done that only to arrive and they have no record of it. They always find a spot for me though when it has been busy. The big drawback to white spot is the prices, too much for what you get. I go because my kid loves it.

Awesome server certainly taking safety serious. Saddened that chicken pot pie is not and may not return to the menu.

Classic Benedict is a dish I normally order and it never disappoints me. Eggs were perfectly poached, English muffin was soft and fragrant, and the smash brown potatoes were crispy. Attentive and quick services. Clean, cozy table.

This is the first time to give full stars to a White Spot restaurant. It might have been that we were there early, at 9 a.m., but service was great, food came promptly and all tasted yummy. Good job, Kensington!

The fish and chips was fairly good with the note that the fish were a bit greasy. I would just liked it to be served in a flat plate instead of a soup plate. By the way, the atmosphere was cozy, private, and warm that we could sit and hang out for more than an hour.

Veg burger with caramelised onions and fried mushrooms was surprisingly pretty good, better than the (dull) white spot regular burger. Typical friendly white spot service. 👍

Service was good. BLT was not on the menu however, they made one for my mom anyway. She Happy about that.

Waiting 5 min the reception said preparing table for me, 1 person. then he is gone for another 5 min. He didn’t come back. Then two new came in and another lady waitress came over and seated them immediately. Waited for 10 min nothing and they got seated within 30 seconds. What kind of service is that! Of course I left telling the waitress about the wait. She said nothing and watch me leave

Love&Hate I love White Spot and I hate Whit Spot Kensington Store. Why? Because Kensington store is very close for us. So my wife and my son usually go there. But the restaurant has a lot of problem, cold customer service, usually nobady entrydesk. And they say usually lie to order like 2 minutes 3 minutes. 3 staff there 2 staff there, such as kindergarten. White Spot is very good restaurant but without Kensington Branch. By the way it makes a lot of mistakes to orders. So I hate the store.

Very disappointing!!! I had a take out order yesterday and it was the worst fish & chip ever. The fish was small portion, dry and slightly burnt. There was only about 10 pieces of french fries. And they forgot the cole slaw. I tried calling the Kensington White Spot right away, but they were not taking phone calls. To White Spot, I know things have been tough but you really should not be ripping off your customers off. We are regular White Spot customers. But I think we will be ordering our food elsewhere.

Good breakfast. Bacon and eggs. X2. My eggs were poached perfect to my liking and I had 1/2 waffle. Hubby had toast. Ordered coffee with 1/3 water as I find their coffee strong it was right on. Happy with service and not to busy at 930am on Sunday.

My husband and me were passing by and decided to stop here to have dinner. We had been at another location before so we already knew the kind of service and food is served in here but this time we ordered something different that we hadn't tried before. I had a chicken salad (because I was having a lot of morning sickness during the day since I was pregnant) that came with some toast, some nuts and spicy sauce. I thought it was a simple one but it had some dressing that made it very delicious and eatable for my taste. I enjoyed it so much that even my husband wanted to try some. And he ordered the 3 piece fish and chips that came with coleslaw. This last one was a fresh one and the fish was very well done and big for the price we paid. The service was very kind and fast and it was not crowded that day, it was a Wednesday when we went here and just because of the great service of the server is that we are going back here, more than the food (even though we liked what we ate very much). Thumbs up!

Update: Ordered delivery. Burger was burnt, the fish in the fish and chips was dry and hard - very small pieces. As for the fries, looks like they gave me all the remnants in the frying basket. Whomever packed the the burger put it on its side in the bag. The sauces leaked out into the bag and the burger was messed up. Great food and great service. Very consistent quality!

Gave 2 stars because the food is definitely better quality than “fast food” but the curb side service system is ridiculous. Order/pay and tip is all done prior to receiving any service. A pick up time is provided and in the confirmation email an “I am here” icon is available to inform the restaurant you have arrived. It is obvious that system is not monitored as I personally have waited 10-15 on multiple occasions. After selecting the “I am here” icon, there is a message to call if you do not receive your order but the line is consistently busy. Even once getting thru on the phone the attendant exclaims “OH, I didn’t even know”. Your online business strategy and process requires a major overhaul.

The perfect place to order a takeout during this pandemic time. They are one of the first restaurants to adapt to the new normal and apparently is doing very well. Ordering is easy on line and if you are doing it the first time you get 5% discount. When you pick up you can even ask them to being it out to you so you don't have to interact inside the restaurant. The staff is always courteous. Food is typical white spot so no surprise there. Just the place to go to when you are tire of cooking for a change.

The food here is ok, I mainly come here for nostalgic reasons because all of my family have been coming here since the White Spots opened in the 1950s. I grew up in the 70s/80s and my brothers and sisters and I loved there pirate packs with the triple 'O' burgers. It's a little unfortunate what they charge for lunches now. My wife and I go there for lunch and its usually $35- $40 for the two of us, and no drinks. It would be nice if they had a daily lunch/dinner special instead of charging 5 star prices at a 2 star establishment. I heard other patrons complaining about there prices as well. I hope they stick around long for my kids to enjoy the White Spot Legacy. I think Nat would be dissapointed.

Oddly I was thinking the service was going to be long, once the server got to us she was super friendly and fast. Was a pleasant surprise!

We've been here several times now and each time our experience has been either good or great. The service is attentive and the food is delicious. If you go later in the evening (past 7:30pm), it won't be as busy (better service and also better for covid physical distancing). We've gotten take out twice, but I wouldn't recommend doing take out from here. Once, they forgot the dip for my beef dip! Second time, the fries were very soggy even though we were on time for our pick up. Just do dine in, and you'll have a much better experience.

Our usual breakfast spot was closed. Tried breakfast here and really enjoyed it. Great service, no wait seating. Added pancakes to my meal was the best part of my day. Will return for breakfast.

This location is always lovely to visit. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The covid barriers are in place and hand sanitizer is available. But the food is as always good quality i would encourage people to visit

The server was pleasant enough, but service was slow, things were forgotten and had to be requested, a fruit side was in such bad shape that the server was aghast and had to get a replacement when we pointed it out. Our server seemed well- meaning but scattered and harried, so maybe it was an understaffing issue.
