Don't let the size of the dining area turn you off. They serve one of the best sushi this side of Kingsway. Their prices are affordable, the food great, and the service is quick.

My new favorite sushi spot! The Korean girls that work at the counter are always super friendly and patient to deal with. The prices here are very reasonable and the food has been consistent. My favorite rolls to order is the yam avocado roll, negitoro roll and also, the spicy tuna crunch roll. There’s not much for ambience here since most people order to go however the food makes up for it. I just wish that they didn’t use so much styrofoam here (ie. cups and to go boxes), it’s horrible for our environment. Hopefully, they can switch to paper boxes or even reusable containers in the near future.

My son and I bought sushi in the place on August 20, 2022. We noticed the California rolls were a bit warm, and so we assumed it was the rice that was just fresh. Both of us got really sick that night. During summer time you expect the restaurants take care of the fish products accordingly and this place obviously does not. I see in other reviews that people have complained about food poisoning or meat not being fresh. The health authorities should audit this restaurant. Do not go to this place unless you don’t care for your health. Never coming back to this place.

Haven’t been here for years , looks like new owners. The service was impeccable and the sushi was delicious. UPDATE; (August 10) decided to come back because the first experience was worth mentioning…But this time it was a different story. I ordered a Bento Box, and it was presented in a styrofoam container, the miso soup was in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon. No green tea was offered. Nothing to mix the soy sauce with the wasabi. When I asked about it, the response I got was they don’t use proper dishes. It was a HUGE disappointment!! ( I’ve posted photos)

it was a good place to just have a quickie sushi place. not too overly clean but good enough for the place to eat in and just finish up. food is not too bad.

The sushi is good. But for such a quantity they are very similar, almost all have the same filling, it’s boring. There are a lot of them in the box, for 4 people, but the taste is the same.

I decided to drop in here after my gym. For some reason I never tried this place but decided to give it a try today and had an awesome experience! I ordered assorted donburi, salmon spicy crunch roll and some nigiris. I was amazed to see how fresh the fish, rice was and prices were way too reasonable for covid standards. I’ll be coming back all the time. Really appreciate the chef for giving me an extra piece of fish on my toro nigiri when I asked if it was okay to eat 2 pieces while I was waiting for take out. Rolls are good. But they asked about tips even though I had already given 10% tips on debit. Dunno why I even had to give tips when there’s no service and no water given.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little sushi place! The sushi was good quality and the service was great! If you're looking for a quick stop while you're at Highgate, this is a worth it!

Total quality of food was not impressive and Sashimis were too thin compared to other take out sushi places. And I could smell something like wet clothing on the ginger.

Service is to slow you have to get your own water or tea not good Service. And when the server brought my food it was to go box's all at once the food was warm and never did the server ask if everything was okay long wait food was not great.

Love their sushi. Like taste of the rice. My to go sushi place. I ordered sushi from lots of places. High end ones, expensive ones, none meet my satisfaction. Sofar this team worked during proved I can order withthe same quality every time. Like it for take out but not necessarily for dining in. Maybe they make some updated to make it more attractive for dining. Read some health warnings. I never had an issue with freshness of their products.

The worst sushi restaurant that's not good at all and not kind. I did Dine in, but they didn't even give me a cup of water. Even though it didn't look so busy, the server didn't care me for a long time, so I went to order food at the checkout counter. + Rice was cold./

A lot of spicy Rolls which is funky, taste good but on pricier side as their rolls tend to be quite small. So would be great for a quick grab/snack.

Excellent service and amazing bang for your buck. I have never been full spending that little at a sushi restaurant this delicious.

Amex accepted, inserted to pay. Takeout only. Chirashi don is good. Tuna salmon don is smaller and have thinner cuts which is reasonable for the lower price. Friendly waitress.
