😐 Went to this place a couple years ago, was pretty decent from what I remembered, but when I came to revisit, prices racked up drastically and food quality was basic to say the least. People often mention years, price, good, time,

I like the tofu hotpot, quite flavorful. Mild is the perfect for me, anything stronger would be too much for me. The Taiwanese fried chicken is great, very crispy and flavorful. Will definitely return.

The food is delicious and fulfilling. The service is good. Every time I go there, I always order the Seafood Tofu Hotpot non-spicy. This Han Ju Tofu Hot Pot have been at Crystal Mall for over 15 plus years. The first time I ate at this restaurant was back in 2002. Back then, I was only 12 years old, my mother always took me there for lunch. For several years, my mother and I use to be regular customers at this restaurant. I remember throughout my early to late teenage years, before mom and I went grocery shopping together, at Crystal Mall, we often ate there first. As I am writing this review, I am 30 years old, and I still eat at this restaurant from time to time.

It’s still tasty and delicious but the amount of the food they serve at this price is a joke. We used to go there very often but at 12.99, the rice it comes with isn’t even half full. Will not go back anymore.

Been coming here for over 10 years (once a week for the first 7 years), changed owner 3 times during this time frame. The new owner might not be aware that the previous owner raised their price just before she took over, so within a span of 1 year, the price is totally out of touch with what Han Ju Tofu was known for. Good value food! With the current price, I"m not saying it's outrageous, but it's not competitive. Wish them all the luck, cause they'll need it to try and keep their loyal customers returning, unfortunately I'm not one of the them.

Ordered the kimchi hotpot medium spice. The pot came with 20 leaves of lettuce, an imitation crab stick, 3 slices of beef, a small egg, half a pack of udon, and 5 blocks of tofu. The hotpot food quantity does not fit the price point, and after everything the server yelled for not tipping even though she provided no customer service and the food was overpriced. Taste of food was also bland

I got the spicy beef hot pot in mild, as I didn’t wasn’t wanting any spice. The portion was good, very much worth it for the price! There was a lot of beef, noodles, 2 shrimps and a variety of other things such as fish balls and veggies. It came with a small side of rice as well that I enjoyed with the broth. Unfortunately it is cash only but there is many banks & ATM’s nearby!

Service was nice and excellent but quality of food - not so much. I'm hesitant in trying their rice meals now after being disappointed with the hotpot.

Light foot traffic, most likely due to poor location and lack of independent and difficult mall parking, but food is still fairly good. Quality of their ingredients and taste is not lacking in any way. It's a mom and pop shop so their services reflects that. They use to be a lot better, before they sold their Richmond location. Interestingly, their single washroom, with 2 stalls, is unisex but it does not have a lock on the door.

Menu changed a bit since I was last here I think. The waitress was a tad crass as well. I wanted the vegetarian hot pot, medium spicy. I was asked if I wanted it with water… hot water… as my soup base? 😕 at least, that was what I’d, gathered. I asked as a opposed to? And she offered kimchi. So I’m uncertain if that is meat based broth? Luckily it’s not too big of a concern for me so I just got the kimchi… she later came back and asked if I wanted ‘no egg’… I’d ask to please refine what you’d like to offer as a vegetarian option. I can read what is offered on the menu. If there are soup options, please note them. If I didn’t want the egg, I would have asked if I could get no egg. I loved this restaurant for my usual vegetarian hot pot but this experience was unusual, not sure why.

This is more of a Chinese than a Korean restaurant. My noodle soup tasted great, price is good, but portion is small. Service is good too. Will be back for more.

The contents in the hot pot are not as many as expected, because they’re a lot different from the ones shown on the menu photo. Flavor is okay, which is not too salty or flavorless. Rice is a little too dry.

Fried fish on rice was really good! The three cup chicken on rice not so much, do not order. The hotpot hits the spot when the weather gets cold.

I've learned my lesson & will not order beef hot pot again. It was the more expensive dish among my orders & thought the price would reflect better quality of food but I was disappointed. The beef slices were extremely fatty feel like getting artery clogged. It's like chewing on fat. After the fat was removed, there's nothing left to eat. I spent more time removing fat than eating it. Very low value dish...
