I fell in love with that place! It provides you with some good positive energy! It’s warm, cozy & embracing. It’s a favourite picnic spot to many, haven’t tried yet, but will soon. The place hosts children's dance classes, music recitals, and live theatre productions. It also has a cafe with hot food and a variety of sweet treats. A great place to take a little rest while walking around dear lake.

My best favourite place to picnic. Recently become more charming for the autumn colours. There's a huge beautiful meadow between the Art Center and Deer Lake where is the perfect place for human and gooses to share and enjoy the outdoors. Free parking lot in the front and always with plenty of empty slots.

Great selection of programs for the kids. A wonderful place to be. Amazing architecture, lots of air and wood. Modern yet feels like home. Lots of waiting areas for the parents who are waiting. A little coffee shop with some standard options is nice to have if you’re desperate. Maybe this could be upgraded with time? The outside space is even more beautiful, lots of nature around.

Great Centre. It offers different classes such as Ballet... A great place to come and see a play. A good quite place to get some work done. It can be rented for events also. You can find a small Café by the main entrance. Easy to park outside and it also has underground parking.

Architecture is great, gives off a very warm inviting feeling. Multiple multipurpose rooms are good. Location on the lake is beautiful. Didn't get to see the theater.

Most of the studios are not only beautiful but also functional/effective, except for 102. The marley floors truly make a difference for dancers, especially those who have physical sensitivities or injuries. The instructors I have had are knowledgeable and friendly, they also take the time to provide individualized feedback which I still very much appreciate even though I have danced for almost 30 years. An added bonus is the cafeteria. I'm grateful to have Shadbolt within a reasonable driving distance.

If you visit the Deer Lake Park area, this is the place you shouldn't miss. It's a beautiful building but I think the inside is more attractive than the building's outside. It offers many art programs, art displays and always has concerts at night. A small coffee shop but the seating area lighting is too dark. If the coffee shop can arrange some tables and chairs with a pop up coffee booth outdoor in summer time, it will be so good for all visitors. We can imagine that how relax that people can enjoy cup of coffee with a perfect garden and lake view. Any way it is a good place for all. The Christmas lights are nice in the centre.

Warm, light-filled, performance centre with lots of seating and very comfortable vibes. We didn’t check out any of the performances but saw the beautiful space. There were some display glasses with really cool art displays of owls and puppets. Parking is available at the Burnaby Art Gallery for up to 3 hours. It is also close to deer lake and a nearby playground.

Really affordable arts programs for the community!! They probably offer some of the cheapest classes & the instructors are all very kind. I have taken their piano, dance & art classes - all were great. Love this place - you can also go for a walk in the back and it's very nice :)

Wife and I attended the jazz band before they invited audience to jam with them. Excellent, professional players who clearly love the genre.

Great location. Well kept. My kids have participated in many programs here and although each class and instructor is different, they never had any negative experiences. Also great place to hold an event e.g., held a couple of birthday parties there in the past. Ample parking unless there is a major event, but they usually inform those impacted.

👍👍 Saw a Bluesberries concert here with the Young Concert Series. Burnaby is lucky to have this beautiful theatre for community shows and cultural events...comfortable, great sound and free parking.
