This, my friends, is what’s known as a rip-off. $14 waffle. It’ll be so good! I mean, $14. Right? Big. Fluffy. Alas, no. 38 cents of batter like I make at home. Small. Cold. Hard. Underwhelming. Vacant plate. Other food about 3/5. Bit better than Denny’s. But this waffle? Terrible.

Had a wonderful time, we were so excited to see that the building was exactly the same as when we came as children 😀, we were checking out the area we grew up in and the White Spot was one of the highlights. Couldn't believe that they still have car hop service. Made for a wonderful place to enjoy lunch. And to top it off, our server figured out that she too went to the same high school.

My family and I have been going here for ages. Good comfort food and relatively spaced out (more booth seating) and some plexiglass still up, which I appreciate. Most servers had masks on which we found awesome as well. Their happy hour has a nice selection for good value. We also enjoy this location for their car hop service. It’s not the most young and lively joints (but we prefer it that way).

Honestly, one of my favorite spots of all time. They have the best service and the quality of food is scrumptious 🤌🏼 10/10 would visit again. If you see Caitlin as one of the staff go say hi to her, she's the friendliest compared to everyone else 🤩

I come here all the time. I love the White Spot burgers and breakfast! Today I had something new--the queso bowl and it was pretty good too, but I would of liked more queso. I also like looking at all the old pictures of Nat Bailey and the early restaurants.

We were seated right away and had immediate attention from our server. He was pleasant, polite and had a friendly demeanor. He helped us with ordering, helpful suggestions regarding lettuce wrapped lamb burger, plus zoo sticks and sweet potato fries. It was cooked very good and was delicious. This is the renovated older restaurant at Gilmore and Lougheed. I'd been here before and will return again. I recommend to all. One issue, not reasonably priced. A problem with eating out these days. 2 burgers, 1 zoo sticks, 1 side sweet potato fries and 1 coke - $51.= odd.

Was seated relatively promptly at 9am on a Saturday. Breakfast entree prices have continued to increase while portions becoming smaller. Our entrees were both $18ish each and definitely not enough to fill our normal sized tummies. We waited 20minutes for our food and ended up receiving one incorrect entree which we didn't even bother to address since we were starving. We were seated by the kitchen and heard all the chaos between servers claiming dishes as kitchen was obviously behind in orders. From now on we will stick to our usual location near metrotown and their lunch/dinner menu.

Went on Sunday, only a short wait but worth it. Good service we had the waffles with chicken and an egg with Hollandaise sauce. I had a blueberry milkshake which was just the best. Serving size was perfect, lots of milkshake. Left completely satisfied and full.

Average breakfast spot. Service was okay, our waitress was nice but my order was wrong. I asked for pancakes but got waffles instead. I ate it anyways and it was not bad, but would have liked to have pancakes. I didn't want to wait for them to fix my order. The inside of the restaurant is pretty basic. Overall...there are better spots to get breakfast

This place is usually fantastic... but had a terrible Christmas Eve here, as when I called about 3 days in advance, the staff informed of being open until 6pm on Christmas Evening. I arrived with my girlfriend in my truck to do the drive in and dine, prepared with with my tablet and a download movie we both wanted to watch - only to have an closing employee come out and inform they closed at 4pm that day, and have done so for the last 2 years! Quite upset at this issue, as I was forced to go home and order out - as since we didn't want to sit in a restaurant full of people, we had to wait quite a long time as it was prime-time for ordering, so we paid a very high premium for our Christmas dinner.

The overall experience was okay, although beef dip buns were soaked in dip underneath (not from the side the meat was placed on), so it was impossible to hold it, it was breaking apart. The dip was delivered in a small bowl with part of the dip on the plate, spilled over. So serving kinda spoiled the impression, although the taste was good. After the main course decided to order a dessert. Was warned that carrot pie was not available - ok. Ordered rhubarb pie only to hear in a minute that they can't serve it. Asked for brownie, was delivered THIS (see the pic attached). Not only it's like a regular piece of brownie from the store sliced in halves (god, the scoop of ice cream was bigger!), they charge for it almost $9! No cutlery was delivered along, the waitress asked if I'd like a spoon (how do you expect people eat brownie with a spoon? it's too dense; just FYI, for any dessert a la mode both items are used - yes, both, fork AND spoon) or a fork. When asked for a fork, I've expected a cake fork, but - ta-dam! - was given a full-sized one. So yeah, mystery solved - if only you'd advise me the fork would be a regular-sized one...

We live in Abbotsford BC but always come here when in town or having our vehicle serviced . Sandra is just an awesome attentive server who enjoys her job and the people she serves. The food is always top notch I have the roast beef hash or eggs Benny. My wife has the BC Sunny start never disappointed except the fruit bowl could be better

Ordered take-out and they said 15 minutes. I showed up to pick it up at 15 minutes and it wasn't quite ready, which was reasonable. I sat in my car outside in the nearest parking spot marked Takeout Service Only for another 10 minutes before going back inside for my food. Turns out it was ready but no one thought to bring it out to me. Pretty surprising for a restaurant that also has drive-in service.

We were told it was busy. Had to wait to be seated. While we were eating. Other guests were seated asap! Our food was under the heat lamp awhile. This won't be a place I'd frequent. They value regular guests. Over new ones. Give priority.

The staff are very friendly and always do a great job. The Managers are very on the ball and always jump in when needed and the food is always good. They have a lot of items on the menu you don’t see at regular WS’s. One of my favourite things besides the staff is how clean everything is.

So its been over 15 years since ive eaten at a White Spot. I had sticker shock when i looked over the menu. When did White Spot make a burger worth $20 bucks? So my friend n i discussed inflation and so on n decided to order the mushroom burger w poutine, fish n chips n a milkshake. I just had water. If you check out the pics the bill was $53.72 after a 15% tip it was almost $62 dollars. $31 per person n i didnt even get a drink. The milkshake and ceasar salad was good. The coleslaw was warm ewww! The fries that came with the fnc on the soggy side. The fish was good. The poutine not hot enought so the cheese was in clumps not melted thru. Which to me is down right un Canadian! Now the burger was dry so not worth 20 bucks. There is just no value here. There is a place on Commercial St that serves a $5 dollar burger that if they charged $20 i wouldnt complain because they serve a great burger and yours is just subpar. Why do you guys put out such a poor product? The mushrooms on the mushroom burger was a joke. Working 8 hours and after all the taxes, n stuff the gov takes an average person brings home about $120. So was it worth 4 hours of slaving away at a job... h*** no!! I want a refund. *** just to be clear, i did not expect or want to write a bad review for you. I was the one that chose to come here. I was looking forward to a juicy burger loaded with mushrooms. Which i didnt get. From my past memories i use to enjoy your burgers. So this review is not written to get followers or more likes. Its my honest opinion you need to do better because i feel ripped off.

Food is good but simple requests seem to not be their forte. My family and I ordered take out. 4 of us ordered the loaded beef dip. One without cheese. None of them were labeled so we had to check them all. Not the most sanitary thing to do. They ended up all having cheese. Had to do the same thing with salads. One had the least amount of cheese but still had cheese. Please label big orders and check requests.

I don't live in BC any longer, so when I do visit Vancouver I yearn for some nostalgic experiences from my youth. This location of White Spot is one of the original locations I use to come to all the time when I lived near Brentwood. Its been updated ofcourse, but they still do drive up orders and eat in. The service is not exemplary, but its not bad. The food was good but not great. I ordered the Zoo sticks and Monty Mushroom Burger. Perhaps my tastes have changed or the food has. It just wasn't as good as I remember it was.

We went to this restaurant for lunch, the service was good and the waitress took good care of us. The food took a long time to arrive but it's all good. My mushroom burger was great. My wife's quesadilla was lukewarm, but she enjoyed it. Overall, it's a nice restaurant to go if you're not in a rush.

In person dining is a 4/5 with good service and a nice selection of food and drinks. Takeout however is 3/5, items have been forgotten in orders twice in the past and packing can be hasty and not secure. Quick service via curbside pickup

My old co-workers and I have been going here as a get together spot. The staff is always super friendly and never rush us even though there's usually 5+ of us. The food is always delicious and out pretty fast especially considering the size of our party and they're drink specials are wonderful! We love going there for happy hour. We'll definitely be making this our regular spot.

Great service indoors, take out, or stay in your car to order and eat! They have an adjustable tray that goes through the windows on each side. Lots of free parking.

Food was ok, servers friendly but my god was it disgusting and unclean. First red flag the parking lot was covered in used fry oil, when we drove in, saw the dont slip signs and a little kitty litter but when got out was greeted to stale gross smell of used oil and it covered out tires and soles of our shoes. Inside the floors were filthy. The server even dropped a half eaten burger beside our table on the carpet and just left it there to be stepped on and ground into the carpet. Other side of the table on the floor was so gross. It was barely busy, come on and make a little effort. We won’t be back.

The place has a big potential to be much better. The food was ok, but drinks & desserts, no! The apple pie wasn’t fresh at all, tasted like a frozen pie got warmed in a microwave! Drinks left back because it didn’t taste good. Staff were friendly and responsive though.

I usually get takeout here but I have dined in before. All the servers are super nice and service is pretty consistent and good. There’s a kind server who has been helping me with my takeout orders in the early mornings before work. I think her name is Sandra. I usually grab a Sunny Start sandwich and get my smash browns extra crispy.
