    Great store, really really nice staff and fantastic management. They are so helpful and friendly every time I've been in. Oh and the grooming department is so friendly. Duke & Digby LOVED them. They loved going in the store when they were little puppies and would ride in the carts :-)

    Everything you could possibly need for almost any pet. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and love animals. We have purchased both Guinea Pigs and Chinchillas here and they obviously get handled often by employees, because they are much better socialized than animals we have bought from another local pet store. The prices are great, and the selection is good too. Watch out for sales because there are some amazing deals. And I love the customer rewards program. I basically just got a bag of hay for free because of the rewards program.

    Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Bought a dwarf hamster into our family and did not realize it's an escape artist. Upgraded the cage and the staff was very friendly and helpful in exchanging the cage. Went back to get more goods and staff have been very helpful

    This is one out of the few branches of PetSmart in Burnaby/Vancouver area, and it has been the best one so far. I have been here for dog food, dog tags, salon and fishes, and their service has been top quality all the time. As long as you tell them what you want clearly, they will for sure help you. Physical environment is spacious, clean and organized, easy to find what you are looking for. Pets allowed inside. Parking is not a problem. Highly recommend this branch.

    As with any business, some employees are great and some not so great, but the salon staff here are amazing. Ever since Stephanie took over as salon manager, the salon has become SO MUCH BETTER. My dog is reactive and Stephanie is the ONLY one she let's groom her - which she always does an amazing job! It's obvious that PetSmart as a corporation cares more about money and their customers than it does it's employees, but I can tell that the salon's priority is taking care of the pets and making them feel comfortable. I can't imagine having to deal with reactive dogs and rude customers everyday, but they do an amazing job.

    If you are going to get a cat or dog, fish or some reptile, it's a perfect place to visit. At the same time, here you will find food for them, costumes, accessories, toys, and professional advice. Sometimes here are great discounts for aquariums and other stuff.

    My elderly dog and I went to visit the Byrne Road store yesterday to get some supplies. However, at the checkout, my dog was completely ignored and didn't get a treat. That's not our usual experience. Usually staff are excited about every dog that comes into the store. The girl at the checkout didn't seem to be much of an animal person or happy in her job. Getting a treat at the checkout is the highlight of the in-store experience and my senior dog was super disappointed that she didn't get one. She knows the drill and was already getting ready to receive, only to be completely ignored. Not sure if this is standard practice now or if we were just unfortunate to be serviced by this grumpy girl, but it definitely makes me think about going to another pet store where my dog is made to feel special and does get the treatment and acknowledgment she deserves.

    Seemed short staffed and the staff that were there were very slow with service. I ended up just leaving after waiting almost half an hour already for a couple of fish and there were still 2 other people before me alao waiting. Not upset with the employees who do show up and try their best, this is a sign of poor management/scheduling.

    Its open late and usually has what you need. Prices are competitive. Most staff can answer your questions but not all. Some of the lizards are housed improperly.

    Saw a guy shoplifting here. Told a staff member that some one had stolen something by stuffing it down there pants. The staff member didn’t care at all, and no cameras are present there. Seems to me like pet smart is ok with you stealing from it. 5/5 stars for five finger discounts.

    Harley, Megan, Emily & Stephanie. Are awesome! My little guy always looks cute. Here's a pic, new hairdo, new bed, new food. The only thing, he is camera shy. Haha. Just a thought. Rbc is gone from the New Westminister Skytrain Station. Lotsa room for PETSMART to take over. Would be great! So many of us, would find it more convenient.

    Always very helpful when you need something checked. Prices have gone up as has everything else. They have a points system now so you can get treats points. The walk in is usually busy.

    A large store with a corner store feel. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Pet training is top notch and the groomers do very good work. A wide variety of pet products that staff match with your pet's need. Simply my dog's favorite place.

    My dog had little accident, he peed there when i was looking at aomething . Older lady, blond her saw it and rude way said i have to clean it. Of course i dont mind clean it but the way ahe said it . I apologized 3 times and she didnt even said ita ok it can happend - she just made a face. i find it very rude ! So please next time get your customer service attitude together!

    Friendly and helpful staff with everything needed to get your pets happy. Bring your pup in with you and introduce them. or check the kitties. Hey look at the fish if that's your thing. Excellent display arrangements. Staff are willing to help if you need it. Cat food and litter bags can be Heavy - they will transport to till, and out to your car. ... One caveat: avoid the Delivery Service if you live in an apartment. They use FedEx and package may be undeliverable - so sent to local pickup center... or worse, left in your building lobby - so grabbed by anyone who sees it. FedEx may or may not notify you of delivery! Very unprofessional.

    We had our Bouvier in for grooming. She’s a big goofy bouncy dog and can be a challenge. Leah did a phenomenal job and we love the cut. We will be bringing our doggo back to this location every time.

    A couple of weeks ago, I went here to return a HOB filter that I had purchased less than a month ago that had completely stopped working. I came to this location because it’s the closest one to our house but had purchased the product from their station square location. I no longer had the packaging but had the original receipt. The manager at that location completely was not helpful. He did not allow me to return this defective item claiming that because it’s used and I no longer had the packaging, he would not be able to accept the return. He then indicated to me that it would be difficult for him to confirm whether this item was truly purchased from pets mart because the item had a slightly different shade of grey/black color. Basically accused me that I (the customer) was trying to be shady and return a product that I did not purchase from Petsmart. This is while not even asking for my receipt and saying this in front of his staff! To be accused is completely unprofessional from his part. Yes, I understand that he may have encountered situations as this but as a manager, he still has to provide the best customer service to any of his customers even when returning products, let alone a defective item!

    Michelle is the nicest and friendliness gal. Randomly greeting people any time she was in the area and just so kind to chat as much as people want. Also very knowledgeable and helped me a lot and kept coming back to check in with me.

    I usually come in to get to know all the pets before i commit. These last few visits i noticed that this store is slipping on some very key issues that they really need to improve. I would rate my last 3 visits as: Horrible customer service!, rude, and UNsupportive staff members more interested in carrying on in very heated arguments between themselves or customers with valid complaints. That Groomer named Stephanie is very rude to customers and her co-workers. Staff around her seemed very tired of her abusive & toxic ways. I feel sorry for co-workers. STEPHANIE ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY, and not how she treats people. I think this Stephanie brings on the drama with her bad business practices. I did not enjoy my last 3 visits and just left each time. I do not think i will be buying my next family pet from this store even though I live& work 5 minutes away. I really felt a review had to be written to prevent any future escalations as it seem it was about to turn violent with all the hostility between dogs and people. I would stay away from this chaotic store.
