I would give everything about this place 5 stars: the location, the staff, prices, and food are all excellent value. Where it falls down is the coffee; which while competatively priced, is of quality on par with an off-brand gas station. While I love me a top quality brew, I will happily drink mediocre coffee (McD's, Tim's, etc.) to get my caffeine fix. The drinks here don't even clear that bar. If you do decide to get coffee here anyway, I recommend going with the basic brew: it tastes equally as bad as the other drinks but is cheaper.

Nice place inside community building. Coffee and food is really decent. Got myself a flat while and roast beef burger total of $14.39

Wow! For a place like this (built into a sports complex right outside the gym) this place is amazing! Healthy, delicious sandwhiches for less than $8 each. I payed about $10 for a smoked salmon bagel with coffee - cheaper than Starbucks and my bagel was made from scratch! The coffee was mediocre but this place is such good value and so perfectly placed my expectations were already far exceeded. I will be returning, it even opens at 8am! On a Sunday! Service like this is unheard of in Burnaby. I wish all coffee shops were like this absolute gem. Treat yourself after your next workout - 6/5

Great coffee! Had a vegan mocha with soy milk (my friend had oat, it was also delicious!). However, their beyond meat sandwich was not vegan, as the bread they use had eggs. We had their vegan wrap instead which was ok, but a little disappointing (the wrap was gummy on the outside, and a little under stuffed).

I love this cafe that is located inside the community centre. The coffee is decent (price is a bit high), the pastries are good, the service is not bad. Overall, good cafe!

Food is better than what's available in the area for office workers. Only place nearby for good coffee as they have pour overs, a proper espresso machine and seasonal specials. Staff is always friendly and on point. Seating can be limited at times since there are others who use the recreational centre.

Always a delight! Delicious food and beverages, quality products and service. Fan faves are the iced latte and iced matcha - love the sealed top and sturdy compostable straws for iced bevvies that don't break down after 2 sips. The customer service is fantastic and staff are always friendly and kind. Quite a bit of public seating and parking available. Would definitely recommend!

Came here to sample their signature sandwiches and was not disappointed. We went for the lobster melt and finished off with a slice of red velvet cake.πŸ˜˜πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

Indulge in a truly delightful experience at this charming coffee shop, where you'll find the most delicious and aromatic coffee roasted right on-site. Whether you're looking to kickstart your day or take a much-needed break from work, this place has it all. Among their tempting offerings, the sandwiches stand out as the ultimate comfort food. Trust me when I say that the Turkey bacon sandwich is an absolute winner, with its mouthwatering combination of savory turkey, crispy bacon, and delectable ingredients that will leave your taste buds in awe. What sets this coffee shop apart is its hidden gem status, nestled within the Christian Sinclair Community Centre. It's a place that locals hold dear, a little secret oasis of culinary delights. The warm and friendly staff make you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door, providing excellent service and ensuring your visit is nothing short of fantastic.

I had the Italian roast beef sandwich and the white mocha. Very good sandwich. I was surprised, I guess because it's a cafe in a community center. But I would recommend getting the sandwiches here. Its made on the spot. Quick.

Love this place, especially as a regular at the gym (not great for my wallet though!) The brioche buns they use for their sandwiches are delicious! I frequently get the "lobster" melt but have had their breakfast sandwiches and coffee too. 100% recommend!

A nice public place for having a bite and a local delicious coffee. Pros : - amble parking. - drop in activities in the centre for adults and kids. - nice atmosphere. - luxurious tables and chairs. - opens 7 days a week. - very close to burnaby park facilities Cons: (hardly found any thing I would complain about) - they close at 7 pm, would be nice if they stayed a bit longer at night especially on weekends.
