Presentation 10/10. The breakfast poutine was really good, very filling. The in-house bacon was really good, I liked how it was cubed and had a nice chewy texture. The egg was perfectly cooked with the runny yolk and nicely seasoned. The chicken blueberry sausages were amazing, I didn’t have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Service was pretty good too. The lineups were crazy busy and we got in late even though we had reservations.

Very happy that I was able to visit recently. The food and service was amazing. The soul in a bowl is a must try. The blue plate special Croque Madame was also very good. The mimosa flight was refreshing. You cannot go wrong by coming here. I would suggest reservations in advance as you most likely will never be able to walk up and be seated. The reservation system works quite well and updates quickly so you know how many groups are ahead of you.

Okay so stop what you're doing and go check this place out at your earliest convenience. We had 3 different meals and 3 different drinks and they all exceeded expectations. Every detail of the breakfast was incredible. I want to try every single item on the menu. Care and attention right down to the citrus infused maple syrup was different and better than anything I've ever eaten. It's a treat and it's exceptional in every way. Will be going back to try pretty much everything on the menu.

We made a reservation for Sunday at 10:30am because we know they get busy with a line up usually. The food was great. I got the last portion of the lobster and shrimp crepe which had lots of lobster and shrimp. The service was excellent and went above and beyond when I was paying and forgot to give them my gift cards. They took the time to refund me and then used the gift cards for the payment. I also appreciate that they noticed the sun was shining into our eyes from the window and pulled the blinds down. Overall, we really enjoyed the breakfast and will be back. Update March 18, 2023: We were back for another breakfast and arrived at around 9:30am. The restaurant inside table seating were already full and even the outdoor patio was almost full but we were seated right away in the outdoor patio. Our server, Cass, was wonderful and attentive. She was there when we needed her and made sure we were well taken care of and even showed up at the right time to help us take a picture. The food was excellent as usual and I got the last serving of their Canadian Lobster & Shrimp Crêpe. This place never disappoints every time we visit.

I like that they are very consistent with the other OEB’s that I have been to, the dishes that they serve have a twist to it that makes it unique and yummy. As far as the quality of food, it is all not bad. Although I think that it can be better as the beef that I got was quite chewy and there was only berries that you can order to go with the waffles, I would’ve prefer other types of fruit to go with the waffle. Overall, a solid place for brunch. The ambience was nice and the service was good.

Love love love OEB!!! We need one out in the Tricities!!! Have been pleased every visit to OEB. Food is always delicious! Although always busy when we go to the Burnaby location service has been excellent. Definitely our favourite breakfast restaurant. Photos: banana cream pie french toast, kids breakfast, classic breakfast, scrambled crepe. Food is 5 stars! My only comment would be the Yelp waiting list which I am not a fan of. We don’t live close to any location so to get on the waiting list as soon as the list is open and getting there is tricky. I was sure we were able to get on the waiting list prior to the date we were going but couldn’t the last time we tried. Is that possible or am I just remembering incorrectly?

Fresh ingredients, awesome and yummy breakfast/brunch! Finally got to try the lobster and shrimp crepe, because I been wanting to try this but never got the chance to because it’s always sold out. Going earlier is always better as the line up is usually insane. They have waitlist you can join on yelp, but not on the weekend if they get busy. Highly recommend this place if you’ve never been. Great service and friendly staff.

This location probaby is one of the best breakfast places I've been to. The food is perfect. Their team is very engaging and welcoming. Service was quick, prompt and efficient. No mess ups, great recommendations. It does get busy, and there usually is a 5-10 minute wait time for a table during peak ours. On a side note, it was disappointing that i was offered dirty cutlery, which was promtly changed to a clean pair (without an apology or anything), understandable as its pretty fast-paced environment. Slightly on the expensive end, as a 2 dishes plus 2 drinks costed us around $70 CAD but the food was worth the money.

My favorite brunch place in my hood. I am an egg benny kinda gal, but this brunch place have an awesome menu & I want to try them all. I had their lobster crepe with some kinda creamy hollandaise sauce with a $20+ caviar as an add-on on the side if you dont mind being expensive like me😅 I like that it was rich but light, no bloaty tummy after my meal.

We finally managed to eat here. This place is always packed and busy. The menu has variety and they all sound good. I opted for the three egg omelette with salad. The presentation was great and it was cooked perfectly. For a place that is busy the service was fast and efficient. I I’ll definitely be going back for more!

Best breakfast I’ve had in ages. I had the pierogies duck eggs. It was delicious. Like really delicious like I finished every last morsel. There’s always a line around brunch. On the weekends. Expect that anticipate that plan for that. You could end up waiting two hours. Is it worth it… Yes. The staff are very friendly. And lots of them service was fast. Drinks were delicious and the menu is extensive for breakfast and eggs. This place is a chain. I hope they’re all the same because I’ll be going to the one in the old town next. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the place is decorated really well. I’m definitely coming back for another branch. Absolutely five stars.

Tasty breakfast, a bit of the heavy side with many dishes having hollandaise sauce, custard and butter. Servers are friendly and attentive. French toast trifle was a little dry in the middle, but still good. We will definitely be back again!

I recently had brunch here. While the waitress unfortunately missed my seating preference, the food was undeniably delicious. However, I found the pricing to be on the higher side. EDIT: My recent breakfast at OEB was outstanding, living up to its high Google Maps rating. The service was notably better than before, possibly due to the early hour and fewer customers. The Brisket Montreal, especially the smoked bacon, was delicious, and the egg was cooked just as I wanted. OEB proved why it's highly rated and is a definite go-to for breakfast lovers. That is why I changed my rating to 5 stars.

The restaurant provides outstanding service and a lively atmosphere. It's exceptionally clean, with a beautiful open kitchen, and the staff, from the host to the waitress, offer excellent service while being very friendly. The best part is that the it is pet-friendly, making it even more appealing. We will definitely be returning

Super nice staff, atmosphère and interior! The food came fast and was amazing. Perfect portions and a unique menu with new pairings. The downside is OEB’s popularity and size. We were sat at a communal table which wasn’t ideal for the experience we were going for, but fit the vibe of the restaurant. I’d definitely recommend subbing 1/2 potatoes for arugula, as it was still quite filling and tasty!

Been here a few times - service is good and food is satisfying. But this recent visit last Friday morning. Not the busiest time, but the server kept attempting to take away our dish while clearly we were still working on it. There’s still food on the plate and I’m actively eat off it…. At first I thought she’s just being keen and maybe new to this job, after all we’ve only been seated for 25 min. But that waitress kept doing that four times and eventually just took away my plate without my consent… what was that??? If I see this waitress being my server again I will ask to switch a server because I really want to have a good time with my family, enjoy my food without getting disturbed constantly!!

Been really wanting to try out this place. I thought it was ok, I didn’t leave feeling wowed. I left feeling ok. Felt like things were hit and misses. Drinks: oat milk lavender latte was really good. I wouldn’t get the Pineapple Grapefruit Oasis again. I was advised it was bitter before ordering. It just wasn’t memorable. The scrambled crepe was ok and the Korean bulgogi eggs Benedict tasted interesting. I was expecting some kind of kimchi but there was this really sweet ketchup like tomato(?) sauce on it. I’ll have to come back and try other things to see if my experience changes.

We went to OEB Brentwood in a weekday and this was a busy place especially summertime. We just walked in around 11:30 and took us at least 45 Mins for a party of 4 to be seated. So if you are a big party better reserve your seats ahead. I noticed that a party of 2 could be easily accommodated. Or you can try putting your name on their wait list app to save time. The service was fast if you scanned their menu while waiting and ordered once seated. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly. The food selection was not so much but just a fancier version of the usual breakfast staple menu. Food portion is OK. I love the Croque Madame, it was delicious. I event tried the Lobster and Shrimp Crepe, it was tasty but expensive. The Mimosa Flight was a let down. Portion is not what I expected for the price. I should have tried their summer drink instead.

I came in for brunch on a weekend day. My husband and I did not have a reservation. We called ahead and placed ourselves on the waitlist. Even by calling 30 minutes after they open up our wait was approximately 60 minutes. Once we reached OEB we needed to wait an additional 15 minutes. Once our table was ready we were seated immediately. I started off with a latte which was a typical latte, I didn't think it was anything special. I ordered the vegetable scram-blette. I ordered it with the brioche toast which was really good. It also came with some fruit and potatoes. The potatoes were soft yet crispy and extremely flavorful. The omelet it self was ok. I didn't think it was anything special, IMO it needed salt. We also ordered the Do Not Even Go There. This was great. Something different, not too sweet. The addition of fruit was perfect and I loved the chopped pistachios and sliced almonds on top. It comes with a side of maple syrup which is completely unnecessary.

The service and atmosphere is top notch. Feels lively, is very clean, has a beautiful open kitchen and the service from host to waitress are excellent. Feels comfortable and they are very friendly. Crab bennys were excellent. We did find the sauce very slightly salty overpowering some other flavours in the dish but it’s to each persons taste. We had a tiny problem with our crab Benny but the manager and waitress took care of it, made us a new one and even comped the meal without us even asking. Will return for sure.

Went for brunch. Food and portion size was really good. But they ran out of lobster scramble so go earlier if you wanted to try some of their popular dishes. I can never remember that this place is called OEB I always type random 3 letter combinations until I find it eventually on google maps 😅

We lined up online for nearly two hours before we got our table assigned. Service by the server Rae who had just passed her training was super friendly. Food was nice. The dish presentation was IG-friendly. Should be back to try their crepe or waffle.

Well, finally managed to avoid a line and try OEB. I had pretty high expectations but can happily report that they were exceeded. The food was a bit more upscale than expected and obvious care was taken with both preparation and presentation. The service hit the perfect balance of attentive care. Also, I appreciated the cute, gender neutral restrooms 👍

Best breakfast ever. Tasty healthy food at a am affordable price point. Nice location and interior as well. The herb potatoes are great. The salad is great too. The Bennie with avocado with eggs and tomato jam was to die for. Can't wait to go back.
