😠 More like cucina brutta. Rude service and subpar food. The bread was burnt and grey and tasted acidic. Not worth the money or lack of basic customer service. People often mention sandwich, great, sandwiches, Italian,

Horrible service - saw one of the staff touch raw veal, then went and made a sandwich. The sandwich I ordered was pretty burnt. There a previous review post for violations. Should have listened.

Overall most of stuff eatable, but at times feels too greasy and not enough true flavour, that place would aspire too and counting great products they have next door in both stores. They make one great dish- that was always hot seller, simple but great jam filled doughnuts . Always hard to get on Saturday only, but were always worth it. Last year - whatever changed or just sign of the time and where we are going. Drove 5 times in the last 6 month from west Van all the way here on Saturday to get them, each time - nothing- not that they are sold out, just not making them, busy with something else, not enough problem that want to work(sit on CERB) . But just such disregard to base product, that is good, at least have respect to customers to make it . Surely last try given, would not come back again out of principal. Sign of the times- nothing improving around us any more.

Great selection of lunch and to-go meals. Third time I’ve had the short rib sandwich with sun dried tomatoes and onions, and I have to say, it really hits the spot when you’re hungry. Great sandwiches and at a decent price considering that lunch meals cost about 15-20$ these days. I’ve also had the porchetta sandwich before and it was really delicious as well as the gnocchi in the counter. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick snack in the Hastings area. The Short Rib sandwich is my recommendation.

Great selection of handhelds , pastas, ready-to-go meals, soups/stocks and desserts. I usually pop in for the Roasted Porchetta sandwich. The crunch on that skin is exceptional. I’ve also had their All Natural Italian Hot Pork Sausage sandwich and this too is mouth-watering. Beware, these sandwiches are messy but well worth it! One sandwich I’ve been meaning to try is their Steamworks Beer Braised Beef Short Rib sandwich, ugh that sounds amazing! Their selection of hot foods & ready to go meals varies, and are also decently priced. Food order queue (when it gets busy) is actually at the back of the Cucina, though staff are usually friendly and will assist you wherever.

One of the best places to get any sort of amazing Italian home cooked food you could think of. Sandwiches to DIE FOR and hot cooked buffet of meats veggies and pasta. Always leaves me satisfied 🤩

Amazing place for hot & prepared Italian food! Highly reccomend. Pasta, Braised Beef, Roasted Veg, Pork Belly, sandwiches. They also have Italian sodas, desert, freshly squeezed OJ a good frozen selection of sauces and lasagna. My go to spot for healthy fast food.

Ordered the pancetta burger, 20 minute wait. Came back, they didn’t have the order ready, thought I ordered porchetta and slapped together a lukewarm burger. Not impressed with the food, forgetfulness and a mediocre burger. Not even spicy as they said it would. Won’t return.

Ordered the Beer Braised Shortrib Sandwhich. Bread and complimentary toppings were good. The main component which is the Short Rib was mainly Silver Skin / Tendon as seen in the picture. Leaving fat on is fine and understandable as it adds flavor but leaving the Silver Skin on the meat that is meant for a Sandwhich is not good as it's inedible and shows a lack of care in the product. As well it's not a small piece that was missed it was large and obvious. Their other Sandwhiches looked nice, so maybe this is the off one.

For a long time I haven’t eat such as delicious dish. Less is more and that’s what I found. Healthy food and well seasoned.

At fear of making this place busy, I have to say they have some if not the best sandwiches in the heights. The bread, the meat, the peppers. My favs being the Porchetta or the Braised Beef. Treat yourself and add a tiramisu. One of my staples.

I have been shopping at Cioffi's for Decades. Every time I am here I feel like a kid in candy store! Vancouver 's best!!

Phenomenal Sandwiches and food, sometimes can be a bit slower service, but it's well worth the wait. I recommend the porchetta sandwich or chicken wrap.

Their potato donuts are amazing. They only have them on Fridays and Saturdays.

The "award winning" meatball sub was extremely bland and actually kind of gross. Got "mushroom" soup to take home and it was barely mushroom and all ham. Definitely glad I didn't pay $30 for their tiny take home lasagna. As an Italian take and go place I wouldn't recommend. There's much better and more reasonably priced Italian places on commercial drive. And the meatball sub doesn't even compare
