i have visited this place before and tried chicken tenders. tasted great.the staff were very warm. but today i have ordered through skip the dishes for pick up on BOGO deal. the staff that i had to deal with paid zero attention to what i trying to tell him. his is name is resham. the other girl was kind and attentive. now let me talk about the chicken. i have never tasted chicken that is so dry. there is only crust and hardly any chicken in there. the crust was mostly burnt. the meat inside is so dry that it wasn't edible at all. the pictures attached speak better. i dont know if the chicken is usually like this or its beacuse of the BOGO deal. please dont serve substandard chicken and call it a deal.

Ordered from them through an online app. I ordered their special buy one get one drum stick deal. Usually the chicken from Hi Five is very fresh. This one tasted OK , but felt a bit like the oil was old and could use a change. Other than that it was fine. I'm a returning customer and have ordered a few times.

2.5⭐️ overall after like 5 tries Idk why this is so highly rated... does people don't know what good fried chicken taste like? HiFive is VERY MEDIOCRE at best... its also very inconsistent in quality and taste. Let me breakdown everything I've tried: -Chicken pieces meal: 1* (EXTREMELY BLAND, okay crust, and very dry meat) basically a 1* Popeye's -Chicken sandwich: 4* (better than McDonalds, actually good and jucy meat with flavour) -fries: 3* (decent, better than McDonalds) -onion rings: 5* (the ONLY GOOD and tasty thing out of everything) -I forgot last item... maybe I'll report back when I remember

We came here late at night because it was open and ordered a few chicken sandwiches, chicken and waffle sandwichs, and chicken tenders. The service was nice. We had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes for everything. Their washrooms were clean, the tables were not. I think the chicken seasoning was bland/ under seasoned. The chicken meat for the tenders was really quite dry. The tenders get a one out of five (1/5) rating because of the taste, the dryness, and how small they were. Based on the size, they look like fried squid tentacles. Please see the picture attached. The chicken and waffles sandwiches was okay...The waffles were pretty regular continental style waffles that you make for the machine, or have frozen and re-toasted. It wasn't very crispy which can help because you had to bite it with the chicken... Imagine it was more like bread texture in terms of softness. The chicken sandwich was okay. When the tenders came out we almost cried. We asked the server and he said it's normal to be that small. Overall for the price they charge I expected more. I expected better. This is definitely the lowest chicken fast food compared to Popeyes, KFC, Churches chicken which is now renamed as Churches Texas Chicken, and Jolibees... I'm very disappointed.

Good fired chicken restaurant. There are two selection of chicken, either fired or roasted. Spicy is also available. The price is reasonable and lunch special is only $5. The service is good as well.

Its been a while since i came here and its as good as churchs and open till late but not 24 hours but it is still great. Burger and chicken as good as churchs but the fries is better than churchs. Cheers! Recommended for late night fried chicken run if you are around!

Unusually bad service today on so many levels. Where shall I start? Ordered a three piece combo, for take out. and later when getting ready to eat, I opened the box and found only two pieces. Then, one of those two pieces was a half-drumstick - literally half of it was broken off! (In the photo is the bone of a whole drumstick - looks deformed!)When I went back to ask what they can do, she said I can only have a two piece. Basically, to compensate for me having to spend as much gas just to go back there I was not even breaking even. Then, to begin with, I was told I could choose a fountain drink or bottled pop as part of my combo, so I chose the bottled pop. I noticed how we an Additonal charge of 50 cents on the till. The cashier did not say it was “extra” just that I could choose between the two. So, I said never mind then. I will have a fountain drink. Then she goes “oh, that’s out of order, have a bottled drink then. Hmmm, it was what I wanted after all but kinda makes you wonder about her saying “you can choose” between them. Why did I give two stars vs one? The one normal piece of chicken I actually ate, it was quite good.

I've ordered from here twice now. The chicken is delicious!! Super moist and you can order all drums. The chicken was very well seasoned and was not greasy at all. The skin was nice and crispy. The entire family loved it. We got both the spicy and the regular and they both were good. The spicy had a nice kick and was not achieved by some thick hot sauce. It was in the breading. The chicken was cooked fresh and took no time to come out. The guy working was so nice. Thanked everyone for their business and even gave everyone free chicken fingers. Not sure if he was the owner but he was very nice and friendly. I would definitely come back again for the chicken and great customer service.

Used to be obsessed with this place. I always thought it had the best fried chicken and sides.. loved your onion rings, chicken pies and gravy. Spicy chicken burger? 10/10. Unfortunately it seems that the quality been slowly going down the toilet over the past year or so. You guys removed the good sides, the gravy is now nasty and watery.. still.. I kept ordering because at least your chicken was still pretty good. Sadly all good things eventually come to an end, don’t they? Last time I ordered 4 pieces and I got no thighs and 6 burnt chicken legs. Back to churches chicken it is. 😩

Yup! I'm always blown away by bad customer service. I refuse to even review places that have lousy service. Let me tell you, Hi Five Chicken is awesome! I'm happy to do this review. I'm happy to tell you that I love Hi Five Chicken. I'm happy to say that the service is great and food is amazing. I also gotta mention that the restaurants are clean, the chicken is fresh and place has an inviting atmosphere. Keep up the great work! Tony

Guy at the counter was super nice and recommended the homestyle chicken sandwich. Was super good! A little spicy so to those who dont do well with heat id avoid but i loved it. Super crispy chicken and the fries were very good too! Well done.

Asides from the butter corn everything else is soggy, cold, burnt and inedible. They added way too much green onion to their coleslaw. Not worth the price. Popeyes is way more flavourful.

My kids and other family members love the chicken here. Their service people always seem friendly. During peak times or if you have a large order, you may have to wait but that's normal for any place. My only complaint, based on my preference, is that I wish they served white meat chicken on the bone and not as a tender.
