A really great find! From the outside it looks like an all day cafe, but on the inside it's a lovely local restaurant. We arrived with no booking, there were only two of us so we could get seated any bigger number and you may need a reservation. The staff were helpful, and knowledgeable of the menu. The menu and specials were good . We had fish and chips and a seafood platter. A great little find

Had a lovely evening here last night for our annual Christmas belly dancing meal. The staff were wonderful. I ordered the Sea Bass, it was beautiful as were the vegetables. The crumble dessert was impressive as were the portion sizes. A huge shout out to ALL the staff here for being amazing with us & incredibly patient.

Didn’t eat here but stopped by the car park to enjoy the nice views from here.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. They take allergies seriously, not only is there a separate gluten free menu, but they have a flag system to identify the food that is safe. I was told 'if there is no flag, don't eat it'. We were impressed.

Had evening meal out this evening with my granddaughter. Excellent food, (the plate meat pie, is to die for 😋)lovely clean and friendly atmosphere,. Our waitress Emma, was amazing, attentive, made us feel comfortable and welcome. Will definitely be returning.

3 of us met up for a breakfast meeting and were very pleased. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our pre booked table. Order was taken for our drinks, (teas and cappuccino) whilst we looked at the menu. There is a great selection available for breakfast from the traditional to the more cosmopolitan. We all had the full English, well be rude not too. It arrive in good time along with 3 different types of toast It was hot and delicious. Very enjoyable, clean surroundings, pleasant atmosphere and attentive, but not pushy staff. Will definitely recommend this venue, and we will be going back in the future.

Came here with my husband for my birthday meal, what a treat! Our meals were simply incredible, everything we had was delicious. I chose Cajun salmon and my husband chose the mixed grill. I can't recommend this place enough, the food and service were excellent.

Went for a meal here last night around 6pm for 7 adults. Menu very varied with loads of choices, drinks reasonable for alcohol and soft drinks. We all ordered starters and all arrived on time and all very good. Main meals the same as we all had something different. Three had dessert and they were large portions and very good. We had three split bills which was no problem. Overall a great meal out I’ve never been before but we are planning another meal out for a family birthday. The pub is well looked after and bright, toilets clean all staff helpful and polite. Very good in our opinion.

The food here was stunning! Not a single complaint at the table. The new decor is lovely and I enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the lambs play in the field. I thought the meals were a little pricey until we saw the MASSIVE portions. Wanted dessert but couldn’t fit it in! Will definitely be back.

Nice place on the hill just on the edge of countryside. Excellent food, fair prices and very helpful staff. When we went we found it a bit cramped when eating in the main room but I guess that’s to be expected in a popular restaurant at peak times. Will go again.

So we've been here few times over the past month or so.... And its fair to say its our go to place.... The fabulous home cooked quality food is just spot on every time and the staff are very accommodating even when we rock up without a reservation. 5 stars all the way from me.

Love this place. Staff are very polite and accomadating. Food is amazing. Prefer to eat in the conservatory where it is nice and bright. I highly recommend trying this place,i will be returning very soon.

Three of us arrived quite late in the morning and asked if we could still order breakfast. This wasn't a problem for the very attentive staff. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We were the only customers at the time but lunchtime diners began to arrive and their food appeared to be very good. By the time we left it was quite busy. I have been for lunch here in the past and it was enjoyable. I feel sure I'll be visiting again.

The staff members were very attentive and couldn't have been more pleasant or accommodating. The place has lovely views and is well decorated. We arrived late morning and were the only visitors at that time, the breakfasters having left. We asked if we were too late for breakfast but were assured that we weren't even though the lunchtime customers began to arrive well before we'd finished. Not the cheapest place for breakfast but an enjoyable experience.

Our party of 10 had a lovely meal there last night. There was plenty of choice and everyone really enjoyed what they had. The staff were very pleasant and always around if we needed anything else.

Great works Christmas meal here tonight. Food was fab, lots of choice and service was speedy and spot on. Chairs were comfortable and seating was roomy. Prices are right, plates were hot too. Will definitely be coming back

Food was very good and we managed to get a table for 5 without a booking, it was very busy too. The drinks were ok but we did ask for a house red and was offered a guest wine, had we have been informed that the guest wine was £8 a glass we might have insisted on the house red!! Not to worry though. Didn’t wait long for our food and the staff were very welcoming, pleasant and attentive. We will definitely return.

Took my daughter out for tea. She's pregnant and a vegan. Staff where fantastic from start to finish. Very knowledgeable, came with a separate vegan menu and recommended various dishes for her to try. Food was all lovely and filling. The place is very well presented. But, its high up, you will need your big coat. Thanks.
