Really cool atmosphere! And the food was top notch. I got the Irish Burger (beer cheese, Jamison bacon and crispy onions) with waffle fries and seasoned sour cream. Highly Recommend!!! Great happy hour too!

You can almost never go wrong with what they have on special. Along with the rest of the normal menu items. Twenty different beers on tap with daily happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the espresso martinis! Look good and taste good with amazing service. The food was also amazing, hot, fresh, and the staff/manager was quick and attentive. Great job keep it up team.

Clive’s is a favorite of myself and my friends & family for good reasons. Not only is the food very good, but the service has always been too notch. All staff seems genuinely friendly and they pay attention to detail. There are many favorites that I can rely on (eg the chicken fried chicken or beef tips) but occasionally trying something new usually also ends up deliciously (eg the walleye tacos; I’ve also gotten a Buffalo salad that was huge and very delicious). All in all, a good reliable for regular outings

First timer... Stopped in around 1pm on a Saturday. three of us, seated right away, drinks were served as expected, menu was over the top, we spent way too much time trying to decide.. lol, server was patient... I ordered the Hot Tennessee chicken sandwich with waffle fries, the other two people ordered the another type of chicken sandwich, it was over the top delicious, the slab of chicken was so big we had to cut some it off..haha, the value definitely there, service was great, food was great.. would recommend.

Clive's Roadhouse is like something out of a movie. Not quite as absurd and laughable as some of the other cowboy themed restaurants in the area (I'm looking at you Wild Bill's) but it's still a bit out there. Themed restaurants always are though, and I am not faulting it. The service here is great. Staff were attentive and courteous, consistently checking in on us and ensuring we were having a good experience. The food was actually quite impressive. The menu was relatively extensive and not too pricey, the portions were large, and everything tasted pretty great. The vibe got off for a bit, but that could happen anywhere. Darkness lives in the heart of the comfortable, after all.

Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent burgers (State Fair in pic). Quality meat, fixed to order, fresh bun, hot fries. Attentive but not overbearing wait staff.

Food was really good! Had the bbq pulled pork sandwich with waffle fries and my husband had the hot cuban with tator tots. Food was hot and came out quick. Atmosphere was great. Good for families or hanging with friends at the bar. Lots of old memorabilia. Would def recommend!

Stopped in for my birthday. Was a busy place, but they got us in pretty quickly. The food was very good, but the service was slower than we expected. The spiked lemonade and sangria my wife ordered was not drinkable because of the added sweeteners. Our server was not very attentive, so we left earlier than expected. For my birthday, we would have stayed longer, but I felt we were rushed out. We returned the next day for an appetizer during the lunch hour. Our server was preoccupied by other workers to want to attend to us. She handed us our bill before we were ready to leave. I used to love this restaurant, but now I'm second-guessing.

Stopped in for a quick working lunch. I was allowed to seat myself. Found a quiet, well lite corner booth. After a few minutes was greeted by a friendly server. Brought my drink quickly and took my order. I ordered the Bang Bang Salad and added Creole Shrimp. It was colorful and flavorful. Crunchy and not too spicy. There were a dozen yummy shrimp. The server checked on me often. I would definitely order this salad again and will be back and highly recommend

Never ate here, and I probably never will while dashing. We still receive first impressions of restaurants that we may or may not want to return to on our personal time and this is one of them. I got really weird vibes I’m asking for help the lady never acknowledge me, I kept trying to get her attention. She kept ignoring me until another lady stepped in and helped me since Covid. Customer service and professionalism has gone down a drain y’all need to do better cause they’re still people like me that still expects good customer service.

Attended a family gathering in the back party room. The service at this facility was top-notch. We arrived late and the server was immediately at our table getting our food and drink orders. Our group of about 20 was well cared after and the staff did a superb job of staying on the fringes and not getting in the way. The food was delicious, the drinks were generous, and the service was top notch. Well done, Clives!

We went there for Mother's Day. The service was great, our server was awesome. The selection of food was very nice. I had the macaroni and cheese with Cajun shrimp. The kids had cheese burgers with waffle fries. My brother had the State Fair burger and Mom had a Ruben sandwich. We all enjoyed the food. I will definitely come back again.

Wait staff and atmosphere were great. Food had good flavor, but a few flaws. My chicken sandwich was supposed to have greens, tomatoes, and honey mustard. There was 2 of the tiniest tomato pieces that didn't even cover a quarter of the sandwich, and there was no honey mustard. Flavor was good otherwise. Pretzel bites were a little tough and the beer cheese was very thick, but again, still had good flavor. My fiances fish and chips were great.

Good food, great prices and family friendly. We ate here a few times and always had a positive experience. The servers and food runners are friendly and on top of it.

Great staff! Our waitress was so friendly and nice. Good food and large portions for the $$$. I will definitely be coming back. Restaurant prices have skyrocketed but this place doesn't disappoint with value IMHO.

Clive's is comfort food done well. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, service is generally good, and the food is excellent. The chicken fried chicken is my go-to and it's a hit every time. The free popcorn in the bar area is well above average, and they have brewed unsweetened iced tea that is great.

I got the state fair burger and a beer. Good was pretty good. The atmosphere definitely gives off Midwest diner/ small town feel. Everyone seemed like they were regulars which was awesome to see.

Service was great!! Food is okay…nothing special! The fries and seasoned sour cream were pretty tasteless.

Once again this place surpassed previous visits, and expectations, Christina behind the bar, hit it outta the park with the recommendation of the new sushi poke bowl, and the even newer pistachio cake (that I made her try!l Service is exceptional, as always, and will always come back when in town.

It's a great place for a quick bite to eat or to just hang out! Great food and employees are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stop to see for yourself!

Our waitress was Sophie and she was amazing! She recommended me the burrito bowl and it was delicious. She was very friendly and kind. Definitely went above and beyond!! The bartender Patrick was also great.

Food was decent. The environment was ok, nothing special. However the server took forever to take my order, I requested a few minutes to read the menu as i joined some friends. Those few minutes turned into an eternity of waiting for him to come back.

My family and I always have a great experience at Clive's! The food, service and food are always good. Love the atmosphere and location! If I were to say anything that could be worked on is the kids mac and cheese, according to my kids and husband:) Either way we will be back and love the place!

Comfortable restaurant, food was good- Speed of service decent. The server didn't bring us cutlery or napkins. I wasn't going to ask either- We ate with our hands and wiped them on the table. I swear I wiped my greasy hand right on the table with the server standing right in front of me- It didn't ring a bell. Maybe cutlery and napkins cost extra here. I wanted to see if anyone working there had half a brain- They don't. I consider the 20% tip charity. The experience cured me on eating out- Last time I ate at a restaurant. .

I had the Half Sandwich & Soup with a side of waffle fries. The half sandwich and waffle fries were great, the soup, not so much. The special of the day was beer cheese soup. Typically when I have gotten beer cheese soup at other establishments I get a creamy smooth soup; this soup was thick, almost pasty with pretty much no taste to it. I have been to Clive's previously and have gotten good soups so give the others a try. The burgers have always been good as well. My husband said the jambalaya was good. So I gave them 4 stars. We will go back to try other things since the menu had a large selection to choose from.

Amazing food. We were looking for a new place to eat and this was a great choice for a new place. 100% recommended this place. Our server was great too and knew the menu well enough to help us find something for first time restaurant goers. Wish I could remember the servers name, because he was definitely the best server I've had in a while.
