One of the most important and relaxing experiences I have had since moving to NL. Even on a typical cloudy day, this area stood out as an example of how beautiful this country can be. I almost felt like I was back in the countryside of the UK at some points, but the unspoiled nature combined with the careful planning of the man made canals and the odd house or farm made this a day to remember.

Great hikes around the local area walking towards Bussum. Follow this route Thijsse and Hermans trail

Dreamy fairy forest, a place to catch up with yourself.

Absolutely stunning! Unspoiled by litter, gives feel of real forest. Few holiday homes present here and there but are well maintained. U can find people walking their dogs, on walks, cycling etc. Must visit, amazing place ❤️
