Was intrigued to find out there is a spot for casual fine dining in Butterworth. My sister from UK & I decided to make a booking for early dining on 23 Dec. It was a nice surprise that the food is really good & nicely presented. My sister had octopus & prawn. She said they were cooked just right. The downside was my order for rack of lamb took a long time coming. But it was worth the wait. The meat was juicy & tender with the correct amount of fat. I had mine well done & the colour was beautiful with a tinge of pink. My sister who knows UK fine dining standard gave them Thumbs Up for quality of food. She had latte & said it was very good. The ambience is quite good. After 7.00 pm, the place filled up & got noisy with diners. The food is definitely worth the price. It's located in a light industrial area but brightly lit & safe. The toilet was very clean and even had individual hand towels for users.

We enjoyed every dishes and service is good. The restaurant offered a free starter and the most exciting was eating the chocolate lava cake, and the grill vegetables, they're super-duper delicious, only the sauce for lamb shoulder is a bit salty and I think it may also due to our personal taste bud. We will surely return to this place again.

A great dining experience Definitely surprised to find such a classy and elegant restaurant. Their food is delicious and their menu is diverse. Plus, the attentive service and presentation by their staffs make for a high-class experience through and through. Highly recommended

Nice place, yummy food

A very pleasant surprise to accidently discovering this jewel! Lau Teng (upstairs in Hokkien) offers a delightful difference even among fine dining restaurants with offerings of Mediterranean & Western cuisine. The food items were well presented, but it is the subtle flavours that stand out, making this a must-go culinary place in Butterworth. The ambience provides the ideal place for a romantic private meal or a banquet to impress clients. Only drawback was the limited parking in this nook.

Delicious food!! waiters are very friendly, and super nice atmosphere. Plus it’s all at an affordable price. Recommend it and will definitely come back again. 👍👍👍

As a customer, I value and respect proper gesture by the management in dealing with customer’s dissatisfaction. Honestly we were very unhappy at first after receiving “rude” messages from the restaurant requesting us to remove the bad reviews. Google Review is a platform for customer to fairly express their experience, regardless a bad or a good one. Of course, owner is entitled to report a violated, unfair or defamatory review. I do believe reader is smart enough to identify the quality of the entity by judging how they handle and reply to bad reviews. Lastly, we are happy that the restaurant has finally taken an honourable act by sincerely apologising to us. From the feedback, we are also convinced that they will do better in the future!

Had the Christmas menu here and it was awesome, they allowed us to bring our own wine here too

Found this place on google for fine dining for my wife birthday, the place was in secluded area, the atmosphere was beautiful, the waiter was exceptionally good with suggestions and polite, finally the food was beyond amazing, one of the best lamb shanks I ever had 😭 thanks for the great hospitality will definitely recommend for other to try and will sure come back.

This is one of the best place place to have fine dining in Raja Uda. The exterior restaurant is rather simple and looks like factory but the interior reno is comfy and relaxing ambient. Price also very affordable compare to other fine dine restaurants. Customer may order ala cart as well. Good wise taste really good and special create by chef. The only con is restaurant located at second floor and has small ladder step. Overall gave a good experience for me and will go again.

We really enjoyed the food, which was delicious and looked good, like art. The environment is so nice and comfortable that we love it too. Thanks for the good services and nice talk with Wilson, we will definitely visit again and recommend it to our loved ones.

Experienced chefs good food excellent service well decorated with good ambience

Found 2 bones on red snapper dish, skin texture was rubbery and overall slightly overcooked. Seafood pasta and mushroom soup was nice and cook perfectly.

Tip top main course/fine dine that make us unforgettable in terms of taste, smell, tendering. Would come back again very soon!

Great food and best environment in Butterworth Restaurant

Came here with colleagues for department dinner last week. Surprised to see a fine dining place in a small industrial area near Raja Uda. For food I've ordered Marinated Organic Chicken and it was delicious. The grilled vegetables, roasted baby potato and chicken was just right for me. Mildly flavoured and well cooked. Unable to comment on other food as I have not tried them. For desserts I've had Coconut Ice Cream Toasties. A bit surprised as the portion was quite big. The combination of diced mango together with ice cream and toast makes the dessert quite filling. The main dish was ready when we arrive as it was pre ordered before we came. Dessert came a bit late (15-20mins wait) as it was only ordered after our meal. Might be due to the number of orders we have (20 people ordering desserts), and understood that they are abit short staffed. Atmosphere was nice but places are limited. Best to reserve before you come here. Overall a good fine dining experience. Would recommend 👍🏻 Overall a good experience here.
