Another seafood based restaurant along the coast. Place is much more spacious and definitely better located with consistent sea breeze. Keeps the mosquitos away as well as the files. Place is just enormous. Keeping it simple and clean, without the unnecessary decorations. Certain corners of the place is somewhat dark and badly lit. As the night progresses, the patrons pack the place in flocks. Even on a normal weekday, most tables are occupied. Each table teeming with hungry patrons enjoying seafood with their choice of beer. Seafood wise is definitely fresh and offering a huge variety of cooking styles as well as portions. Without hurting the bank too much, it is decently priced. Their stir fried noodles is a must as it packs so much flavour in a dish, might even skip the rice. While serving up the food is rather slow and inconsistent, with intermittent breaks in between each dish. The kitchen seems to have problems keeping up with the order. One of the waiter even mistakenly sent a dish to the neighbouring table. At least there credit card payment option around. Waiters were very patient with our requests and are seemingly overworked, running around like headless chickens. Usually at 10 pm, the waiters would come on over and ask if there any final orders as they are closing up the kitchen. Overall, a great place to rewind, have some good seafood and enjoy a breeze. Would definitely return.

This is my second time visit, first visit maybe around 2011 or 2012, more than 10 years ago. I was brought by my friend back then, the outlet was full house and the food are quite nice. Today is my second visit, I choose this place because I have got good impression but today when I went in, there are no crowd as well and only few tables, we only order 3 dishes as we are only 2 persons, what surprise us was all the 3 dishes got it own issue, the omelette & the crab are super oily, the marmite chicken we ordered almost all pieces are bones, they say it’s because it’s drumsticks, okay… We try to eat but the omelette was too oily and can’t even eat on it’s own without mixing it with rice, as for the oily crab and marmite chicken with almost entirely bones, you can judge by yourself by the pictures.

If you are looking for seafood with a great seaview, open air and windy air, then this is the place. I must warn you that the price is above average. It's not expensive but they do charge a bit more than you would typically expect But is it worth it? I would say that the food is generally good but mine had some hits and misses. You must order the fried noodle, fried sotong, 3 flavour fish. They are superb and worth a repeated order on your next visit. The fuyong egg, lala and fried mantis prawn are just average. And I would definitely avoid the asam prawn with its wierd inadequate asam in a sea of conflicting salty taste. The huan choo heok / sweet potato leave sambal is embarrassingly bad. The leave is old and tough to eat while the sambal taste seems to be lost in an ocean of conflicting taste. However, the view, the open air environment and windy breeze more than makes up for the inadequacies.

We came here because our regular seafood shop next door was closed on our recent visit. We tried their chai por fish, roast crab 🦀, fried salted egg yolk sotong and balitong, all 👍 and everyone enjoyed the food

Food is below average as per Penang standard. Not sure if the chef is local or foreigner as the specialty dish like roti shrimp was just terrible.

Seafood is fresh and delicious, restaurant is beside beach and kids can enjoy beach walk & play sand castle while waiting for food. Spacious restaurant and most of people choose outdoor seat to enjoy the sea breeze.

The seafood is fresh, but the employee is kinda bad gave me super size oyster to eat it raw. The size of the oyster is outrageous it is not suitable for raw eating. Friendly reminder for those who wanna order oyster please choose by yourself. Other than that everything's fine.

Food not up to penang standard and price of seafood almost up to high class Chinese restaurant standard. Tasteless wet butter prawn, not fresh lala. The only good is the blood clam. Rm100+ per medium sized mantis prawn. Small vegetable portion.

[北海道]海鲜 Northern Coastal Seafood Personal comment (Before dinner):- Ease your mind and unwind with relaxing tidal wave sounds. Best to visit in sunny weekend around evening time with your love one. [Plus] Lobster available Tidal wave sounds Walking distance to beach Beautiful sunset scenic Friendly staff [Down Side] 1. Feel the warm & sticky 2. Foods preparation are not hygiene a) Sandy kang kung (a type of vegetable) b) Shrimps are unappealing without remove its vein c) Crabs are unpleasant without remove its gills & mandibles 3. Pricey and taste below expectation Personal comment (After dinner):- Not recommend if you are looking for an excellent service or fine dining. Chefs definitely incompetent. P.S: I am not saying this on behalf of Gordon Ramsay.

Lousy n not fresh sea food….we ordered the La La fried in curry paste…the La La flesh is so dry n tiny got the stale smell n slimy too. Not fresh n the same with the Balitung .,,got smell n so tiny…Ordered the steamed Teow Chew fish….also got smell….we tasted a bit n didn’t eat n left that place. First time there…should have gone to the next door Lobster Village…..a very good seafood restaurant which we went after a few days. Excellent food n fresh seafood….reasonable price. I recommend Lobster Village.

Food is ok. Location was quite far away from town center. it was very difficult to get a taxi or uber on our way back. Tiger prawn was the best. Crab not as food. Vegetable portion was small.

Nice Ocean front seafood restaurant. It's a seafood lovers galore with many variety of seafood like fish, crab, lobster, other exotic sea items, etc. Good fruit juice variety also available. The fried rice and sauteed vegetables were great.

Must order their indonesian prawn curry with bread and their satay! Love the satay so much as they were so chunky and huge. Price are reasonable too. Oh don't forget about the sunset view!!

Food was alright. To avoid the peak hours around 7pm as need to wait for 30m for food to serve and no parking space. 8 pm is recommended.
