The food is served fast, I ordered BBQ set for 2 paxes and kimchi pancake. The serving size is appropriate for 2 paxes. The staffs there are very polite. Highly recommended.

They served the best raw crab ever! It tasted so fresh and it wasn’t too salty. The bbq was awesome! Service was great. Would definitely go back again.

1st time having Korean BBQ over at this restaurant, it was quite a feast! The food was amazing, first of all it was the Korean pancake which is crunchy and light, totally not oily at all. And the kimchi soup was a delight with a good balance of sourness and saltiness. The main course is of course their BBQ, I've ordered Pork Cheek meat, marinated lamb, marinated chicken and marinated pork. It was delicious ! The meat is fresh and tender while the flavour of the meat is amazing. Love it ! To top it all, the price isn't that high as well, you're looking at around RM20 - RM30 for a portion of meat, which is totally fair given the prices other places charged. Definitely the best tasting Korean BBQ places I've tried for this price point.8 However the restaurant was quite crowded and the friendly waiters were very busy and not always there to serve us. Do note that they do not accept any reservations so be prepared to wait for 15 - 20min for a table. Environment is alright as we are seated outside, but I'd much appreciated if they have some ventilation option for the smoke. Overall amazing food but lackluster service and a decent environment. But just for the food and price alone, it's worth another visit! Food ★★★★★ Service ★★★☆☆ Environment ★★★☆☆ Typical Price Range: RM30 ~ RM50/pax

Not a bad place for Korean BBQ. Wasn't overly impressed though. But I think the locals like it as there are usually diners here. I did like their interesting wall decor. The tables are arranged a little tight but ok. Moving in and out is fairly easy. The staffs are friendly and tries their best to accommodate our request. But language barrier is a real issue with lots of them. End up a little stressed at times as chicken and duck cannot communicate well. 😂 As for the BBQ, they will cook it for you if they are not busy and they cook it quite well. Well seasoned and delicious, enjoyable when wrapped with the fresh greens. The 5 side dishes are ok but the onion and cucumber is subpar. Free refills as expected. The kimchi ramen is quite generous and the spice packs a punch as expected. The soya bean paste soup was also well made. A little salty but overall the taste was yummy and the soup has a nice body to it. The best thing is both came boiling hot. Perfect for those that like tongue burning soup. The pancake however was however quite disappointing. The centre of the pancake still had this undercooked powdery pockets. And the edges lacked the crispy crunch I enjoy. Probably needs a bit more time on the pan. All in all, not a bad place but few improvements will make it better.

One of the better tasting Korean food restaurant I have had so far. Food portion as decent but taste was spot on. Had been there a few times over the pass 2 years. Food taste quality is maintained. Service is hectic but they will still serve you as best as they could with the refills of the side dishes and vegetables. BBQ Lamb meat is a treat~ The Rice ball with fish roe and seaweed is a must. Kimchi-jjigae is rich and cheese tteok-bokki is also very filling as well. As for the best time to visit, it is best to come early to avoid crowd. No reservation will be allowed so all is fair with 1st cone 1st serve methodology.

Tender, marble, flavourful, and cooked to perfection medium rare aged ribeye. The lady owner is attentive, knowledgeable and passionate about authentic foods and winery. Without exaggeration, this restaurant should be in Michelin food guide if there is in this country. Definitely worth for a detour if you are visiting Penang.

1st, the meat portion is very little for price range rm30 per dish of meat. Even daorae and ssambap serve better. Spicy chicken cheese , you see few cubes of chicken meat and cost rm23-25. I'm really shocked. Service wise is good, else would be 1 star.

Good experience at my first Korean BBQ in Penang. Reasonably clean and decent ventilation over the barbecue to prevent customers walking out too smelly. Service was quick and food was cooked over hot coals. All the barbecued meat was flavourful, tender, and well-cooked by a staff member. I would have actually preferred to do the cooking myself; I’m not sure if that would have been an option as I didn’t ask. The rest of the side dishes were okay. We ordered the Set B menu and shared it between two. I’d say there was a good amount of food - filling enough for the price. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

Pre ordered the raw crab, taste is incredibly tasty. Heard that the crab already fully booked until June. Very friendly Korean couple.

A Korean couple operates this genuine Korean BBQ establishment, offering reasonable prices. It tends to get busy during dinner, so I prefer to visit during lunch to avoid the crowds. But the food her is amazingly fresh and delicious. I'm also happy with the service the staff provided, very friendly and helpful with our questions on the menu and assist on helping us grill the meat 👍🏻👍🏻

I'm truly impressed by this Korean BBQ restaurant. The self-cook style provides a unique and interactive experience. The meats provided are incredibly fresh and of top-notch quality. The staff is professional and attentive, always ready to offer suggestions for mixing the perfect sauces. All of this creates a delightful dining experience that fills both the stomach and heart with joy.

From the first moment you step in this restaurant, the staff gives you an agreeable feeling. Very hospitable hosts, I saw many Korean dining inside, completely Korean ambiance. It’s a happy place to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. Great cuisine, professional cooking, reasonable pay and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

I love their marinated crabs. The crab was fresh and tasted wonderful. They have guarantee all crabs with roe. So so so good 😋 I’ve tried other places “specialising” in soy marinated crab, it doesn’t even come close to Korean taste. This was the one authentic 👍🏻 truly made my day when your craving is satisfied.

Best Korean restaurant in Penang. Price reasonable and taste authentic. Purely Korean ingredients. Must try their B4 barbecue

I think this is the first and only 部队锅 that need to pre order. Because the real and authentic Budae Jjigae taste very different from what I had before. Feel like cheated before. Only real Korean know how to make it.

Real authentic Korean food with no cut corners ingredients. Ventilation is good enough so you won’t walk out smelly. Highly recommended “B4 pork”. Umami taste.

Beef with very good doneness even tabao. Korean owner that’s why everything is good and authentic.

Overrated. The side dishes is soso, the so-called authentic steam egg is just the normal steam egg we able to cook at home. Topokki and marinated pork are nice though.

What a great authentic Korean restaurant, they insisted use charcoal instead of gas. I can guarantee that food here is genuinely delicious. Moreover , staffs and owner are really kind, helpful and warm hearted. Strongly recommended this restaurant to everyone who want to discover the real taste of Korean food.

Not a good choice if you are looking authentic Korean food. Plus, rice is extremely expensive, RM5 for small potion.
