Nice boutique hotel in the middle of Georgetown with the touch of malay heritage. Walking distance to most of Penang attraction in Georgetown. I like every corner of the hotel❤️❤️ Very welcoming & helpful owner. We took the king & double room. It's located at 1st floor. No lift, just simple wooden staircase. The room very spacious. Toilet re ok and they provide hot shower too. No dedicated parking space so just park at the roadside. Not so hard to find one and don't forget to pay the parking ticket👌

Very nice place to stay. Excellent service and very convenient location. All you need can reach by walking distance. Food places, coffee house ect. Nice to bring family and kids. You can feel beca and look a colonial heritage. Thank you Chintra House and management for your hospitality.

Great place to stay, location is perfect. The whole experience is very different, but feels like home. Room was a bit smaller, but big enough. It comes with a fan and AC. The staff very friendly and the bar next door has great music 😉

Rooms are gloomy with lots of mosquitoes..they did not allow us to light the mosquitoes coils... May be westerners may like it for its rustic look...lights are too dim.. Parking is a problem..

Great location. I love the feel of the house. The staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. Decorations are nice and tasteful. I like the breakfast. Love that there’s a water refilling station, as well as the 24/7 coffee/tea. The courtyard is simple, but pretty. The room I got was in the ground floor, so the window opens to the street. The placement of the bed is awkward. Bathroom is crammed. The room feels a bit stuffy.

I stayed at "Francis Light" room, air conditioning is good, bed sheets is clean, room is spacious. If you want to watch tv, you'll have to watch it at the cafe. The water heater is a bit cranky. Not so noisy as the other reviews claimed, maybe different room.

Choice for breakfast set. The living room and bedroom in same room for guest at ground level. However, the shower temperature problem. I tried to fix but still get hot water in short time before water turn cold. The bed is so comfortable.
