Bad
experience
ever!!
This
was
the
worst
experience
for
booking
this
homestay.
We
booked
this
homestay
to
stay
from
29/1
to
30/1.
However,
upon
arrival
at
the
location
at
11:45
PM,
the
security
guard
did
not
give
us
a
way
to
check
in
because
we
did
not
have
information
about
the
homestay
unit
number
and
did
not
receive
any
information
from
the
agent
for
this
homestay.
So,
the
security
guard
told
us
to
call
Agoda
customer
service.
Then,
the
Agoda
customer
service
picked
up
our
call
and
we
informed
them
about
the
problem.
After
40
minutes,
we
asked
for
the
number
of
the
agent
who
operates
our
homestay
and
after
we
got
the
number,
there
was
no
response
from
the
agent.
In
fact,
he
turned
off
our
call.
It
was
very
rude.
After
being
asked
and
reviewed
by
security
guards,
the
agent's
number
is
not
listed
in
the
list
of
homestayβs
hosts
in
Woodsbury
Suites
Butterworth.
We
also
donβt
know
if
the
agentβs
number
is
legit
or
not.
After
that,
I
told
Agoda
that
the
agent
did
not
pick
up
the
call
and
Agoda
told
us
that
our
booking
was
cancelled
because
we
could
not
present
at
check
in
time
which
is
at
3
PM,
29/1.
However,
there
was
a
notice
on
the
guard
house
that
the
last
check
in
was
at
12:30
AM.
On
that
day
we
even
arrived
at
11:45
PM
and
we
did
not
receive
any
notification
regarding
the
information
to
check
in
or
the
agent's
information,
but
suddenly
it
was
cancelled
by
the
homestay.
Referring
to
my
previous
booking
through
Agoda
at
another
hotel,
they
would
call
and
ask
first
before
we
arrived.
But
not
in
Woodsbury
Suites
Butterworth.
At
3
PM,
we
were
still
stuck
in
traffic
jams.
After
an
hour
of
talking
to
Agoda,
then
we
asked
for
a
refund.
Agoda
said
we
could
not
get
a
refund
because
we
did
not
show
up
on
time
and
a
refund
could
not
be
made
because
the
booking
had
been
cancelled.
Is
this
even
fair?
We
did
not
get
any
info
to
ask
the
agent
and
we
did
not
cancel
the
booking.
So,
there
is
nothing
wrong
on
our
part,
a
refund
must
be
made!!
