The agent super rude. Trust me, u can charge higher price if u fix your attitude dude. The rules been update day before check in. It's okay for me, but when call to discuss about the rules, u pointing finger on others. Which is not a right way to handle guest my man. It's cheap, we pay for it because we think wow it's cheap. But doesnt mean u can disrespect yr guest man.

WARNING! DO NOT STAY HERE. unless you have proper swimming (professional) suit do not come here. ruined holiday with my small children. Security guard purposely stalled your check in and knows the password to Post office box. They can duplicate the key and enter the house you are staying and do horrible things. Crime is a concern here. Safety, security and friendliness need to be upgraded. Owner should voice out in JMB meeting.

Location wise its great, access to supermarker, convenient store, food court etc. View from this condo is marvelous, overlooking bukit mertajam and penang island. Its multistorey car park is terrible with weird high bumps and narrow lane. Upkeep is ok, security isn't the friendliest.

Where do I start lol. An experience I will never forget. I don't know what the management deals with daily, but it must be difficult. I read the reviews and I can see why customers would be angry. The Good: Location: grocery store, eating and close proximity to KTM train View: depending on unit Beautiful view of Penang island. Unit: Fully furnished with kitchen. Great for family visit. Security: No rif raf running around to make you feel unsafe. Rules: Lots of rules to keep everyone orderly and safe. The Bad: CHECK-IN: If you are not expecting a strict check-in experience, you might get angry. Check-in is at 3pm, not earlier, so don't bother asking. Even if you ask nicely, expect a stern no from manager. Last checkin time 2359 at night, so don't be late. Guards:They are not bad, just no nonsense. Be nice and have your unit information ready to go and it will be quick. Don't come at 2359. Lol Manager: Just don't expect a holiday welcome and you won't get your sensitive feelings hurt. Lol. He has to protect his investment. He could be a little more welcoming. Seems like they are missing the positive customer experience, but maybe lots of people tearing up their property. Key lock box: Rosak(broken)for my unit. I had to get manager to verbally acknowledge that keybox was broken and accept responsibility of the key and unit. Grocery store: Great selection, but crazy check out lady yelling at people if the put plastic basket beyond grocery conveyer. Alarms start going off. Apparently people steal these things. Lol. Beware of green shopping baskets. Check out: It's strict and has many requirements. I took 50+ photos and photo bombed manager at checkout time, just to protect myself from damage claims that I didn't cause. Did I go overboard? Yes, but I did it to protect myself. The manager gives an impression that customers are the enemy, so I did what I thought was necessary to make the manager feel better that his place was just the way I received it. No more, no less. Conclusion: I would stay their again if I had the need for the unit amenities. It has some really good attributes. I enjoyed my stay, but given another choice I would look elsewhere for a great holiday experience.

WELLLLL I HATE IT! the indian guard at floor 8 was really rudeee!! DON'T KNOW HOW TO TALK!! Hoping don't even gave a star but I think just 1 star because it was a nice place I think... BUT NOT THE SECURITY

Bad experience ever!! This was the worst experience for booking this homestay. We booked this homestay to stay from 29/1 to 30/1. However, upon arrival at the location at 11:45 PM, the security guard did not give us a way to check in because we did not have information about the homestay unit number and did not receive any information from the agent for this homestay. So, the security guard told us to call Agoda customer service. Then, the Agoda customer service picked up our call and we informed them about the problem. After 40 minutes, we asked for the number of the agent who operates our homestay and after we got the number, there was no response from the agent. In fact, he turned off our call. It was very rude. After being asked and reviewed by security guards, the agent's number is not listed in the list of homestay’s hosts in Woodsbury Suites Butterworth. We also don’t know if the agent’s number is legit or not. After that, I told Agoda that the agent did not pick up the call and Agoda told us that our booking was cancelled because we could not present at check in time which is at 3 PM, 29/1. However, there was a notice on the guard house that the last check in was at 12:30 AM. On that day we even arrived at 11:45 PM and we did not receive any notification regarding the information to check in or the agent's information, but suddenly it was cancelled by the homestay. Referring to my previous booking through Agoda at another hotel, they would call and ask first before we arrived. But not in Woodsbury Suites Butterworth. At 3 PM, we were still stuck in traffic jams. After an hour of talking to Agoda, then we asked for a refund. Agoda said we could not get a refund because we did not show up on time and a refund could not be made because the booking had been cancelled. Is this even fair? We did not get any info to ask the agent and we did not cancel the booking. So, there is nothing wrong on our part, a refund must be made!!

Please dont stay here for any homestay for family in any apps. Very bad management and rude guards too. Me having bad experience today dealing with them. 😑

It is my first time giving 1 star review.. The condo itself is nice actually.. BUT... when u see a But, then u can forget about my orevious statement 🤣 As U can read from all other low rating comments..yes they are ALL True 😌 Im not sure the "manager" Michaxl is just simply rude, less educated, or he is just not the right person in handling this post , as a manager? 🤔 I believe he cant handle the stress well and he has low Eq and the worst is emotional, can't even talk/chat properly 😕🤷‍♂️ My advice is.. If u are travelling alone, no need to deal with the management/manager, yes no problem, good value If u r traveling with friends or family, try to avoid it .. or they may curse u for booking this unit and spoil the whole trip/mood 😅😅

Homestay was well kept, clean with basic things available (TV, aircond, water heater). Kitchen had very basic utensils prepared for usage. There's a washing machine too, but nowhere to hang 👎washed items. So, go to the nearest coin operated washing machine outlets. There's Econsave 👍 beside the apartment.

The Homestay is very unhygienic, the security guards aren’t friendly and polite and the worst part is the design of this building. The entrance to parking and the interior design of the parking lot sucks. The toilet ceiling is leaking water. THERE A LOT COCKROACHES. Unit B-06-0x

stayed on level 28 , surprisingly v nice , not haunted i guess , room is v clean , toilet is big , and have wifi too , the view is gorgeous , everything is fine except the apartment kind of kosong and not many ppl lives there , but doesnt have weird things happened , the security is tight , no 5 stars cz too many law

I enjoyed my Airbnb stay at Woodsbury. Nice spacious homestay on a high floor. Room is clean & all the facilities work. Check out the infinity floor on the 8 floor! 🤩

Big bathroom and the design was nice. There is also a swimming pool with nice view ahead.

They should not have the unit be used as Air BnB.. too many people crowded the places and outsiders occupied and used the facility. My Personal opinion!

Plan properly your family member to stay inn. They don't accept ANY ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBERS, even 1 baby is consider additional. They will ask u to cancel & burn or additional family members need to stay outside. Agent cannot contacted already to negotiate. U cannot enter the guard if has extra number. Better to stay another homestay.

Went here today. The room was unhygienic. The furniture and fittings are worn out. Like literally no cushions on the chair and sofas. Lousy experience. Would not recommend staying here.

I have been to several places where the management is rubbish but this is by far the worst Security behaviour I've ever seen. Rude, unhelpful.
