If you are looking for Bak Kut Teh in Penang mainland, this is the place. This place is not very well known but they have been serving good food for years. You can find steamed fish here as well. For dinner, you need to come early as they close pretty early because they clear their stuffs every day. The owners speak Hokkien, Cantonese, and Mandarin as well. No issue with English and Malay language as many Indian friends used to frequent this joint too.

Superb place to have bkt. I love that the place is clean, airy, has well spaced tables, brightly lit, friendly staff and easy evening parking. There's really nothing much to dislike here. The BKT arrives searing cook your tongue hot soup. Free refills of course. With fresh meat and contents. Even the offals are cleaned well without a heavy offal smell. The soup is delicious, good mix of expected BKT flavours. Meanwhile the requisite oily vegetable dish is lightly cooked, slightly under flavoured I think. You MUST order the tofu. It's simply sublime. Light layer of crunchy fried skin with soft yummy centre. The texture contrast between the skin and the centre is unbelievable. It even outshines the BKT. They are also famous for their fish but I didn't have a chance to sample it this time. Probably my next visit.

Been here twice. The bak kut teh (dry & soup) are decent. The yellow rice chicken is unique. The soup is more like gravy rather than soupy. Taste good as well. Car park is plenty and shop is airy.

Very good bah kut teh and chicken cooked in Chinese wine. The soup is fragrant, unique and full of flavour. Try out the dry bah kut teh too. It is one of a kind.

Cash only , really not convenient to those Cashless Customer. The Dry BKT not bad , but the Soup BKT taste like Supermarket Brand. The price overall is acceptable, however when you request them not to add some ingredients that you don't like (it's normal to order a BKT with your favour ingredients). They will still mix some of it into your soup.
