Drawer wonton mee is made by owner. 1 & 2 generation keep in wooden drawer. 3 generation just steel drawer to keep tradition. Advantage of keep in drawer is reduce exposure to air and keep moisture and reduce reaction to outside unknown. The Hokkien prawn Mee is nice and tasty. Have a taste of prawn stock.

Famous old time favorite Drawer Wan Ton mee originated form Jetty Lama.

Went there to pack breakfast a few days ago. Surprised to find many stalls in this kopitiam, they have curry noodle fried koay teow, wantan noodles, steam chai kuih and otak otak, western food and kuey teow soup. The wantan noodle is own made, really springy, and dry type , which some penangites might not like it as they used to have some soup in the dry noodle. The curry noodle is a hidden gem that have lots of siham, cuttle fish, long bean, prawns, siew yok ( roast pork) , pigs blood cube and taupok. The shop kopi-c without sugar is also nice, would try dine in next time.

The roasted duck rice available in this Kopitiam was one of the best👍. 20 years back when it's still selling at one of the kopitiam in Bagan area.

Fairly standard kopitiam. The service was pretty quick, despite being reasonably busy. The char kway teow was decent, though I’ve had better around Butterworth. Wanton mee wasn’t bad though, again, I’ve had better. The siu mai was typical of the cheap stuff you get in a kopitiam for breakfast, actually a little better than my local place (not quite as mushy!). Overall, nothing to shout about here. A perfectly acceptable place if you’re in the area and need a quick bite, though I doubt I’ll return.

It's an average coffee shop. About 5-6 stalls for breakfast. Quite clean and airy from the fans. Food arrives fast. I ordered the CKT. Not bad. Not much wok hei but nicely non oily. I personally don't like swimming in oil ckt so this is right up my alley. Good balance of salt and spice. Generally delicious. The otak otak was a little light in flavour but has good otak otak consistency. Soft but not runny. Holds it's shape well and easy to eat with spoon. The piece of fish was a little small though. But as a whole, good, but if it had arrived hotter I would've enjoyed it more.

Char Koey Teow is nice here, this time no place I sit beside the drink stall, feel a bit warm as the boiler is cooking the water. Overall good.
