Great spot to watch the sunset and view the lighthouse!! (Be careful with parking though there are limited spots and the ranger will ticket you if you aren't parked correctly, there were quite a few with tickets when we returned ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ)

Cape Byron Bay View Point is a breathtaking destination that should not be missed! The panoramic vistas of the sparkling ocean, golden beaches, and lush greenery are simply stunning. The peaceful ambiance and fresh sea breeze create a sense of tranquility. It's the perfect spot to take in nature's beauty, watch for dolphins or whales, and capture unforgettable memories. A must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts!

If you're in Byron Bay, the Cape Byron Lookout Point is a must-visit. Whether you go at dawn or dusk, the lighthouse has a unique charm that's sure to take your breath away. I highly recommend arriving early, around 6am, as parking is limited. We opted to park in a nearby paid lot and take a pleasant walk to the beach and the most easterly point of Australia. Once you reach the lookout point, you'll be rewarded with sweeping views of the coastline and the lighthouse itself, which is a beautiful and historic structure. Overall, the Cape Byron Lookout Point is a highlight of any visit to Byron Bay. The walk may be challenging for some, but it's a great way to experience the natural beauty of the area and get some exercise at the same time. I highly recommend it!

Beautifull lighthouse. It also has the most eastern point of the Australian mainland! We didn't see any whales, but we did spot some dolphins from the lighthouse.

The walk to Cape Byron Lookout Point is an enjoyable hike with views to Wategosโ€™ beach, and it is worth 100%, especially on a sunny day. If you go during the day, you can get access to the lighthouse and attend a tour to discover about the history, and the technology involved. This lookout is the most eastern point of the main land Australia with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean, and I highly recommend it.

Truly a lovely place to visit. Finding parking can be difficult but the views are worth the effort.

Been here multiple times, good sunrise, some times it feels overrated though ๐Ÿ˜… During winter definitely worth it as you can see whales and spot dolphins too. Regardless what time you go there will be people and please be careful when parking ๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ as the parking ranger do visit that place very early in the morning and have seen people getting fine at 6 am.

Lovely beautiful place, awesome lookout, can go up on top of lighthouse, parking ticket from council $8 only day parking. Cafe around for coffee & snacks. Traditional shops to look some old stuff & stories. Walking track for better view & all. Famous Byron bay light house.

Careful if youโ€™re travelling for a day trip with a dogโ€ฆ you canโ€™t come here. ๐Ÿ™„ Fully paved, full footpath roads, but itโ€™s a โ€œnational parkโ€ and therefore illegal โ€œeven if theyโ€™re in the car, just saved you $300โ€. Cheers rangers

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Great idea, I hope this continues. Live music, a small number of stalls selling handicrafts (all looks pretty good), and lots of nice places to eat (we had a reservation at no bones - awesome btw, so could only fit in a snack). These places were popular: Korean hot dog (like a plutopup/notdog/cornd...

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Halfway up the Cape Byron Walking Track, you will find a lookout where you can look at the tip of the headland which is the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. I guess this is a place where you can just sit and chill, and enjoy what nature has to offer. We were fortunate enough to see a...
