As a local this is our favorite beach. It gets crowded in summer after 11:00 AM. We usually go from 9:30 until 11:30 and then leave the beach to the crowds. Pro tip. May is the perfect time to visit ❤️

The main beach area with sand gets 0 stars for the beach and water being filthy and gross. The area near the rocks on either far side should be a 10! A small walk from the main area and the water is clean and clear and away from the crowds - just lovely!

Ok for the location, easy to find place, the water are maybe not the cleanest and the bottom is rocky, not that good for kids so go to another beach. If you swim further out its cleaner.

OK beach, nothing spectacular but it works for a swim. Very close to the city center. Horrible toilettes..

Overall I enjoyed the beach. It can be quite busy this time of the year during the day with families and little ones. I enjoyed it most in the evening when the beach was partly shaded by the city wall. It’s very close to dinning, good for people watching, it has sand (yay) and a rocky area if you prefer. And of course for this area a fair share of beautiful yachts. It was quiet enough to read and nap. If you love a lot of sun, you will be in luck. I could never get the restroom door to open and wasn’t bold enough to try to porter potter. Showers were easily accessible.

The proximity to the center is amazing but the water is really really really dirty as it barely moves since it’s a small gulf. We went at 17:00 and the water was seriously disgusting, there was garbage floating in the water, the water was greenish/brown. Really lovely place except for the water, but won’t go back. there’s a shower there too.

Great location, can be a little murky but all in all a perfect little beach for a sun bake and swim.

Lovely little beach close to the old town. Nice sand with clear waters. It can get quite busy in the afternoon/evening but we had no issue finding a relaxing spot.

Very atmospheric small beach ⛱️ It was very busy with families, couples, a group of teenagers having fun together; and single people coming to enjoy the sun and sea. Neverthless, it still felt private and fun to be at. Water was very warm and pleasant to swim in. There were parts that were quite sandy and some parts with a lot of stones. You could stay at it until late ours at night. Close by were toilets and small shops and takeaways as well restaurants. There were sellsman offering sun parasols and beach blankets.

I was here in late July 2023. The beach is wonderful, but the two toilets for the beach were absolutely disgusting. Locks on the doors don’t work, no paper, no soap and you have to squat and hold on to handles on each side to do your errands. Antibes was very expensive and I’m sure the city makes insane amounts on tourists, so the least they can do is provide sanitary toilets for the visitors.

Not too bad , although it’s quite small beach and occupied, but there’s warm sunshine make you feeling burning 🥵 and when you walking in water, there are bunch of sharp little stones might cut your feet 🦶🏽 be careful :/ there’s old town just beside on the top , it’s pretty nice having a walk to exploring them !

Great place to go at midnight, walk across the rocks to the end and catch a beautiful view of Antibes!

Kleiner Stadtstrand mit Sand bis zur Wasserlinie ab dann große Steine. In der Saison sehr stark besucht. Wie alle Stände der Umgebung mit Süßwasser Duschen.

A nice beach went for a swim, wondered why I was the only one in when calm. Told to get out as the heavy rain the day before meant it may be unsafe (assume sewage overflows into the sea). They were waiting for results from the lab. Similar problems all over the UK as well from the rain.

The beach has a good location and shape, but the water entrance is stony and you need water shoes. It is also very dirty, the water is murky and filled with garbage. In the one month we were here, it had jellyfish almost every day and I saw multiple people get stung.

Wunderbar.

Nice beach but a bit stony and bathing shoes are recommended. Nasty toilets that we rried to avoid.

I love this beach!! Super lively, great “shape” and the water is fantastic albeit a bit murky and standing on moss can feel weird. Great for swimming, great vibes, the Riviera beaches are just amazing. Definitely recommend this one.

Very nice spot, one of the best around for kids, but the showers don’t work.

Maybe too many people or the beach is too small to acommodate such a crowd…

👍👍 Nice beach where you can see sunset and enjoy the sun during late afternoon. Plus it is a sand beach ! Excellent spot to start canoë / paddle rides as you have a shower to rince it ! When the wind is coming from west, the sea is really calm. There are also toilets and bins, and a nice (small) tower...

😠 I went on Saturday and the beach was clear and nice. By Monday, the water was filled with so much trash and plastic that it was like a sewage plant. I’m hoping it’s a one-off. Otherwise, the view of the old town is amazing and the facilities are great. Definitely gets crowded but that’s to be expec...

👍 Great beach, quiet and a little more out of the way, there are mostly local bathers (although we visited in the last week of season! So this may be more busy on other days). If you want to visit a public beach this is a good bet as a little more out of town. There were some amenities nearby but when...
