The
handling
of
my
10
month
stay
was
professional
at
first.
The
only
problems
with
my
apartment
were
the
lack
of
blinders
to
shield
from
the
summer
sun,
low
levels
of
insulation
of
the
windows,
a
bad
smell
in
the
hallway,
and
a
lot
of
mosquitoes.
All
of
these
are
in
general
not
uncommon
in
Marseille.
However,
after
moving
out
I
was
charged
for
two
minor
issues.
While
I
saw
that
these
were
documented
in
the
final
check,
I
was
told
not
to
worry
about
it,
even
after
explicitly
asking
about
it.
While
this
might
have
been
a
problem
of
misunderstanding
between
French
and
English,
I
did
not
even
get
an
apology
in
the
end.
Therefore,
I
can
only
recommend
to
bring
a
French
speaker
for
the
final
check.
