The property outside the rooms is very nice and very quiet. However, the rooms are not as described and are very dated. Don't expect coffee machine in some of the rooms. We were not aware of this and had to purchase coffee while staying there. There are dozens of hotels in the area all offering complimentary coffee and much nicer to stay. We will not be back.

Yet another fabulous stay at Bastide. We love coming back here each year. Warm, friendly, welcoming.

A really nice experience staying here. Rooms are clean and big enough. The staff are all really nice and helpful. Breakfast was tasty too. The hotel has parking and a swimming pool as well.

The location, the rooms, the service, the breakfast, all excellent. A highly highly highly recommended hotel. They have a great shuttle service in a cute car to take you to Saint Paul de Vence nearby. Our room (room 10) unfortunately had some issues with the shower stall (leaking showerhead and the door wouldn't close) but those were minor issues compared to the overall stay.

Rita and the team were simply lovely. The property is incredible. Don't stay in St Paul de Vence. Stay just outside so you can see it and benefit from having a pool etc and then travel into town in a style in a vintage french motor that they have to shuttle you in and out of the town for free! Will be back.

Cute little hotel a couple of minutes away from Saint Paul de Vence by car. The rooms are affordable and have a very nice view. Breakfast is also available in a buffet version in the nice and open dining room. The place is charming but I want to call out a couple of things: 1-it isn't really near anything interesting if you're walking: actually the hotel is located on a windy road without a proper sidewalk. 2-the place is very cute and although the staff will help you if you need tea, or playes or things like that there isn't really a real restaurant or bar inside. It feels more like a bed and breakfast If you don't mind driving to do your touristy activities then I'd definitely recommend the place.

Wonderful hotel in Saint-Paul de Vence. everything is perfect. Beautiful room with stunning view. Perfect buffet breakfast and superb staff.

Just wonderful. Small boutique hotel experience. Rooms are tasteful French design clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well located for the nearby town. Breakfast was expensive but typical for Provence. It was one of the better breakfasts I had during the holiday. Highly recommend staying here!

Hotel La Grande Bastide was a beautiful little oasis in a busy part of the coast. The hotel, rooms, and pool were well decorated and comfortable. The views from our room and the pool of Saint Paul de Vence were incredible. We had delicious drinks by the pool after arrival. There was parking available on site (but up a very steep drive!). Would recommend this hotel.

This place was the sour note from our last trip to France. Do not recommend. Staff truly treats and looks at guests as an imposition. They do you a favor by allowing you to stay there. Our sentiments were shared by the other families we encountered at breakfast. Accommodations were mediocre; for the same price you can find higher quality closer to downtown.
