Beautiful blue water to look at, but as far as enjoying the beach itself, I wouldn't recommend this place or the vast majority of Nice beaches. The beach is mostly large stones, which makes it incredibly uncomfortable to sunbathe. The current is also quite strong, which means floating for five minutes can take you 20 to 30 feet from where you started. Also, there are paid private beaches that are obscenely expensive and cost around 35 euros per person for a sun-chair, umbrella and towel.

Nice beach from the view, it looks very nice, but it's not sandy, it's just stones, it's very uncomfortable to sunbathe on the beach and there are also very strange people on the beach, we had the feeling that there are pickpockets and therefore we always had an eye on our things could not really relax.

Dogs allowed! This is the new official beach for dogs now (2021) in the middle of the Nice stretch of beaches

This is a beautiful beach. Clear blue water... it is a pebble beach so get ready. There isn't much shade and we couldn't find a place to rent umbrellas, etc from. People here came prepared. There is a shower where you can cool off or just wash off the beach water... It was a really hot day and one of the days I had sweat pouring down... It's beautiful but I recommend visiting when it isn't too hot or just come prepared.

This is for more than 4 stars but 5 would be too much. Nice long beach, colour of water really beautiful, hard to regret swimming there.

I really love this beach the stones are so much better than sand yes a bit more uncomfortable but so easy when drying off.

This is a really great beach, not too crowded, clean water and great vibe. We went to Cannes then and oh god I do miss the Nice beaches. If you’re choosing between Nice and Cannes - it’s no brainer, choose Nice.

Pebbled beach makes doing more than walking less than fun; but the water is beautiful and worth a nice swim. Beware night-life; it may have changed since 2009, but it was an experience hanging out down by the walk after dark.

Great beach, clean waters and very good feeling. The only thing is it has no shadow. You ' ll have to bring un umbrella or something...some days of summer is overcrowded but is the french Riviera so you don't expect anything less.

As far as the view goes, the beach is stunning - I have never seen such blue water before - photos do not do it justice. But if you want to sunbath - don't do it. The beaches in Nice are large rocks - they are hard enough to walk on let alone lay on. Unless you are going to pay for a lounger at one of the bar areas- don't do it.

Great food..always presented well...and hot which is always good....

Very clean well maintained pebble beach right in the heart of Nice's Promenade des Anglais .

Great family beach. Rounded stones. Great holiday memories built here.
