Best meals I've eaten in years. You have to try it. Me and my wife are from Sydney. We came to Cairns for a 2 week holiday. We walked past this pub and saw the Chicken Parmigiana special for that day and decided to try it. We came back the next day and the day after that. It was that good. We had the fish and the steak. Honestly, if your in Cairns you have to try their food. Their chief cooks food to perfection. The added bonus is the meal comes with an ice cold beer. The staff are amazing as well. We really liked The Crown Hotel. Cheers

Enjoyed the special of the night, a T-bone steak with a scooter of beer for $25. Good value. Beer was cold and fresh. Steak was pretty good as well. Comes with chips and a salad. Enough tables indoors overlooking Grafton Street. And plenty of outdoor covered seats on both streets. Friendly bar staff. Mostly locals.

Well after having lunch across the road, both my husband and I felt like something sweet to eat. We noticed a garden bar across the road so we thought that we would see if they had any desserts! Sure enough there were two chef's specials. Fudge Brownie & Apple & Mixed Berry crumble! Ordered both & we were not disappointed! The chef did a fantastic job! It was fresh, hot & delectable! Cost was $9.90 each. Thank you! The setting was not too shabby, big open space with super friendly staff! 😊🙌

Amazing to see all staff working together and pouring nice cold beverages for everyone. Amazing management skills were displayed by the copper haired handy who I assume is the manager. The Latina blonde looking girl I think her name is Monique always greets me with a happy friendly smile. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for an iced cold schooner 😊

This is a great pub that welcomes everyone. I go for the Friday night steak special. $28 trump steak, fries and salad with choice of sauce. Bonus, includes a schooner of tap beer. The best steak I've had in Cairns.

Great leafy beer garden, all staff we're so friendly, colouring for the kids, the Thursday $22 lunch special... parmy with a scooner of beer was delicious (the best I've ever had), the finishing touches like basil in the sauce, seasoned chips & the lovely side salad with honey mustard vinaigrette (made all the difference).

5/1/2024 Time about 9:30pm ordered a vodka red bull , tall glass was topped up to the top!!! Not paying for ice little bar girl. In my 50s and she’s abruptly asking me to say please. You should update your RSA tall legged girl !!

I took my three kids for lunch and it was awesome. I rate the bar staff as the friendliest in Cairns and the meals, especially the kids, were excellent value. Surprised other dads haven’t discovered this one.

Stopped in here for a drink after dinner, live music was playing the night we were there, a couple of guys on guitar, they were really great. A good atmosphere and the bar staff seemed really friendly.

I recently held a work event here and it was wonderful! Sophie was a dream to work with, so organised and flexible. The food came out right on time and was great quality. The whole team was really happy. Thank you Sophie, you STAR!

Authentic little pub in the heart of cairns with a good selection of beer and spirits. Also has a pool table and outdoor seating! Only marking it down one as the bar maid was quite sarcastic and rude towards us when last orders were called.

Great place for the best Parma ever, 👌we are holidaying here, so decided to go back Sat night for another lovely meal. Very disappointed that there was no meals on, wonder why ,especially on a Saturday night. Would highly recommend anyway, as it's a lovely place. Unprofessional customer service. I'm a barmaid myself and I believe customer should in a way be treated like family. Im all about women empowerment and diversity. I felt uncomfortable.
