The restaurant on rooftop of hotel with nice view. The open air area was comfortable and the service was excellent. They even performed separate bills. Food was very tasty. Unfortunately it is expensive.

An oasis in the desert, this is how my wife described the restaurant. Awesome restaurant that really fit such historical area. Food is better than most egyptian restaurants I’ve tried so far with a slight distinguishing flavors while they can improve their meat cuts only. Decent and professional service from all the staff specially Mahmoud who was very helpful and fully aware of all dishes ingredients and his recommendation for dessert was absolutely worth trying. The building is well renovated and really clean. Thank you guys, you have made our day.

Fantastic rooftop with impressive views of the city. The food was top quality - the best in Cairo - for a good price. We ordered camel meatballs, lamb tajine (with white rice), hummus (with bread) and lemonade with mint. The staff was also so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for a TOP lunch or dinner! 👌🏼

We found this place from the high reviews. It's up quite a bit of stairs - or they have a lift, and a great view of the city. The entrees are meat heavy but the appetizers are really delicious. We ordered the first 4 items on the menu. Besara which is mashed fava beans mixed with onions garlic and fresh herbs and spices and it’s delicious. Then hummus, tahini paste, baba ganoush and Egyptian bread made an absolutely delicious meal.

Relatively refined tasty local food (with some special dishes that I didn'see in other restaurants). They have a nice view of the Islamic Quarter. Staff and service are good. Definitely worth a try.

We ordered and asked to pay by card, they said yes. Want to know what happened at the end? Nothing of these of course. They charged us extra 12% and 14% amount of money, as "taxes and services" and their POS for cards wasn't operating. Bad choice, don't visit them

Absolutely loved this restaurant, it’s a gem with authentic Egyptian food and great service. We particularly loved the camel meatballs. The portions are big and they also brought us appetisers (bread, whipped cheese, olive paste and bread sticks). It is worth noting that tax and service charge are not I cluded in the menu price and are also not specified. Additionally we asked the staff and they said the service charge is not the same as a tip, so expect to add that on top. Still the price is very reasonable for tourists.

Amazing food Amazing places. Excellent service and customer care. And a super well equipped place. It's expensive, but the quality is worth it I went in to find a place where I could have a quiet coffee... without being overwhelmed by vendors... I saw a concierge at the entrance next to a security arch and that gave me confidence, I asked if they serve coffee... and he kindly invited me in... and between uffff a palace... The restaurant is on the top terrace with an amazing view. In the end I stayed to eat like a king... ufff it was worth it.

Excellent food in a beautiful setting. Prices are good and service is friendly. Absolutely recommend this place while visiting Cairo. They have a second location near the pyramids and the food is equally delicious. Don’t miss out!

The best foods we’ve tried in Egypt (we traveled lot of places in Egypt, from north to south); their staff and service are wonderful, the most adorable people you’d find in Egypt, and we love their camel meat balls, the great spicy cheese, and the grilled lambs are so tender and juicy! This has become our favorite one and we even come back again before we leave Cairo, and we will definitely come back to Cairo for it!!

I recommend trying this restaurant located in downtown Cairo. They are famous for their traditional Egyptian dishes, including camel meatballs and serve them with handmade Egyptian bread. The lamps are super delicious too. It's a popular spot among locals and visitors alike to experience authentic Egyptian cuisine. The staffs are super cool as well ! Don’t miss it !

The sunset view from the rooftop restaurant is great. The food was all right, not amazing, not bad either. I recommend for the vibe!

The Kofta with cherry sauce was incredible! The perfect amount of spice. The staff at this restaurant were so kind and we loved the views from the rooftop. One of our favourites in Cairo!

Absolutely fantastic!! What a menu! Camel kofta, creative duck dishes, and the best mamool I have ever had for dessert. My only regret is not having more appetite. I cannot wait to come back to enjoy their live sufi music and dance and have more of their perfectly spiced rice pudding and date tart. The service was impeccable to every detail. A treasure!
