The challenge of any foreign tourist in Cairo is that being over charged at restaurants (getting ripped off) or not being able to understand the menu in Arabic or not sure if there is a toilet available at the restaurant etc etc. This place is beautiful and clean and service is impeccable. Also accepts Visa. Waiters speak fluent English and the menu as well. Food is fantastic while we can relax and enjoy the meal without being rushed. Billing is honest. All and all, a great place to relax. Also, espresso drinks are top notch. For once, it's not Instant coffee. 5 stars and I wish this place all the best.

Nice place, with egyptian atmosphere. The young waiter helped us a lot, as he was an english speaking person. We ordered chichen taouk, a traditional pie with minced meat, tahini which was Fantastic!! And halla kebab. The food was great and well prepared. As a dessert, we asked for something traditional and they made us one Om Ali, which was served with ice cream and nuts. Veru nice place to go!

A nice place with bad service 🥺,Yesterday I visited the place with a friend and we just got annoyed by the waiter that keep hovering around asking us to order every single moment after we arrived,he can’t even wait until we look at the menu and tell what we need,the place is nice,food was great but the service is the worst .

Cosy place, excellent service, food is normal nothing special to mention or to go again. I ordered Shish Taouk platter, taste was good. Atmosphere is welcoming and feels like home, prices are reasonable specially its located in Zamalek area.

The stuff is really nice and friendly . The food quality was amazing, I had a lovely boneless grilled chicken with stuffed grape leaves and yogurt, then I ordered white rice and moussaka. It was all delicious and nice! The prices also aren’t that expensive comparing to other places. The restaurant located in a nice place in near to Maraashly church.The decoration is simple and classic.Thank you See you soon

This place was recommended by a friend and it certainly cane through! The food was great and the place was super nice! Specially the outdoor one! You feel like you’re in an old movie 🍿 the food took a while to come and that was frustrating as we were soooo hungry but it was all worth it 👍🏻

I have visited and stayed in Zamalek a few times…this is my go to place to get fresh food in a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are lovely and the menu is perfect. Great place to chill out from the hustle bustle. I can get an amazing meal and drink under €10 and be completely full ♥️🥰✨🤩 great western and Egyptian choices ..love the fries 🍟and salads

Very nice food But I have to say the service from Mahmoud Meher is top class. If anyone wants to find a proper English Speaking person then find Mahmoud in Oldish. Not many english speaking people in Cairo, so this individual is a rare gem. His service and approach is amazing. We have visited Oldish twice in our short stay and really enjoyed his service and bubbly approach. Also note it's a good thing to tip waiters well. The national minimum wage in Egypt is very low in comparison to western countries. Well done Mahmoud a credit to the team at Oldish and soon I hope to see you as a manager or in a top class job 🙌👍🏼

Great food. Prices include VAT. Our waiter Maher was friendly and provided good service. Highly recommended if you’re in Zamalek.

I enjoyed everything here. It has a typical warm ambiance, some nice music in the background, and it’s located on a quiet street. It’s a great place in the morning and afternoon to have something to eat, relax, and escape hectic Cairo. Ahmed and Ammar , the waiters, are very friendly and quick.
