The location is great because some rooms have Tahrir square as their views while the other have the Egyptian museum. It also has a door that leads to La poire. the rooms are always tidy and clean. The staff are very friendly even at the front desk. The prices are really affordable whether it short or long stay. It's my favorite hotel and i went there again this year. I have only tried their breakfast and it was nice. They allow you to bring any food from outside whenever you want. We needed assistance to use the safe and they were never late. We also requested extra covers and pillows and they brought them right away. Unfortunately I didn't take many photos from inside the rooms but i took a photo and a lot of video of the view.

I stayed in room (12) on the 12th floor this is the best hotel in the middle between expensive and the cheap hotels, for me after spending 2 days searching this hotel was really good value 1- the view is amazing you can see the museum, the Nile Carlton, and some other places around the Nile, and you absolutely see the Nile too and the location is really excellent 2- The air conditioner is excellent 3- the room is big enough (bedroom and living room) TV in both rooms, but bedroom need more light and when I request more light they said it's the normal light and they can do nothing with it and the furniture in living room was very old and not comfortable 4- the staff was very good and helpful especially Muhammad Zakaria (nickname Zex Marquis 😉) and Mr. Mena was very helpful I don't know all the names but thanks to all Cleopatra Hotel staff 5- the bathroom is big, clean and very comfortable but in my first room (11) on the 13th floor shower was very baf water gose very hot and very cold suddenly, they told me they will send someone to solve it but they couldn't solve it so they changed my room and in my second room it was good enough to finish your shower. 6- very bad WiFi signal and sometimes you can't send a WhatsApp message I asked them to solve it and they sent a guy who told me I should change my place looking for WiFi signal and I already did but it's not useful at all so that's cost me more 50$ to pay my own internet from mobile networks with a WiFi device 7- the breakfast is terrible I didn't like it at all you only can get good corrasion and egg maybe 8- Laundry service was very slow But it was good enough and very comfortable and I really enjoyed it and I will visit it again inshallah.

The place is very clean. The view is amazing and the location is just perfect. There are tiny rooms for small meetings which I didn't expect. The overall experience was good. As for the prices, I really don't think they are that high but for sure it deserves what it asks for. The rooms are well furnished and remodeled too.

We loved the location. The service and breakfast both were great. The first room had a toilet leak and the second had mold throughout the bathroom. Fortunately, we spent most of our time out and about.

Probably one of the worst experience in my life. The hotel is stuck between the 2 among the busiest streets in Cairo where aggressive and repeated honking is the norm. Unfortunately the double glazing windows are absolutely NOT soundproofed. It's worse: our windows at the 9th floor could not close properly letting in that stressful noise from the street and even kitchen odour from the residents beneath. I had to sleep with good earplugs, blessed be, otherwise I would have turned mad.

The breakfast was good. The breakfast service was very good and friendly. It was not possible to close the windows of the room. The Lamp in thr room was defect and they promised to change. But they didn't. So the night was without sleep because of to much noise!

A less than average hotel compared to the high price. The stuff is good 👍🏼 The furniture is old. The view on Tahrir square and Cairo museum but outside is very noisy because of the cars and music from the hotel on the other side.

It was a good experience. The room was big and clean, the staff were very helpful and responded very quickly to my messages before our stay. Breakfast could be better but you can find something to eat because there is variety. One negative thing is the street noise. Despite staying on the 12th floor, I could hear car horns and because I need absolute silence to sleep, I used earplugs.

The price you see listed as "total price" on booking sites is most definitely not the total price. Significant taxes and fees are added even though it is stated that all taxes and fees are added. Beware so you aren't surprised by your bill! If you don't pay attention, your bill will not be what you expect! Beds are very bad. My room has two beds. One is hard as a rock while the other is insanely soft with no support at all. Rooms are reasonably clean. They could be better maintained. Overall, very disappointed. I wish I stayed at my bed and breakfast at the pyramids. They actually wanted their customers to be happy. The people here don't care at all. The message light is lit on the phone. I called reception asking if I have a message. The man doesn't understand. I attempted to explain the light on the phone but was unable to have him understand. So, who knows if there is a message.

Stayed there for a couple of nights. Location is excellent, but the rooms are dated and a bit old. The staff are courteous, generally.

The location is convenient in the heart of the city and the staff, especially Reda the cleaning lady, were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel itself and rooms are not maintained to the standard it should be. It's not terrible, but it definitely could make easy improvements.

One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in in Cairo. Its location is very nice and safe. It has security and an inspection device at the gate. Their bathroom is clean and the beds are clean and comfortable for sleeping.

This is the most ridiculous restaurant in Cairo! The waitresses hides behind the host’s desk so they can chat. He can see that you need something and doesn’t tell her. Half of the things on the menu are not available. It is freezing cold inside. When my chicken came it was COMPLETELY raw on the inside. A walkout.

The location is amazing, exactly at the centre of the city, beside Metro hub, and almost every facility you might need. The price: I give it very good if you compare it to the location and accommodation quality. Cleanliness: accepted, though it could be better. I had few issues with shower water drainage, I guess it need to be updated. The soap given daily is so economic and small! It doesn't take much if you be a bit more generous in this regard!. Otherwise, the housekeeper ladies, including Mona, were doing a real goid job. Wifi: horrible network. Absolutely need to be improved. I gave up on the Hotel wifi, and used my data to save my time and temper. Breakfast: average to below. There was only one sort of coffee, a cheap Nescafe that barely tastes as Nescafe. The Basteries!! including croissants were terribly the most downside of the breakfast, they were always old, hard to chew, obviously were kept from the day before or even older!. I was very disappointed. Live station for preparing omlets was the only positive thing in the breakfast that seriously needs to be taken care of. All in all, good experience, putting all points together including particularly the price, location and the accepted accommodation. It's 's a place that practically does the job for medium budget trip.

Amazing Hotel in the Cairo Downtown. Pros 1. Excellent location overseeing famous Tahrir square. Many shops around for all travelers' needs. Also reachable from airport in 30 minutes. Famous cairo monuments are within the distance of 15-30 minutes from this location 2. Clean, spacious rooms with good size bathrooms, air conditioning 3. Good breakfast menu covering Veg ONLY items as well 4. Value for Money Cons I do not see any issue with this hotel. Overall its good value for money Hotel for Cairo trip.

In a good location but needs some serious updating, seems old. But it is conveniently located next to LaPoire Cafe, so food options were covered.

Located in the heart of the city close to the iconic Taharir square and as expected it gets a little noisy because of the busy streets. Cairo museum is at a walking distance. All banks and ATMs are nearby too. It also houses a decent cafeteria inside. Breakfast was ok. Although the room had great views, it lacked basic essentials. The bedroom door was cumbersome to lock with old, half broken furnitures and amenities. But then its Egypt and one cannot expect luxury everytime and everywhere. All in all a pretty decent experience for us.

Terrible experience. I don’t know how this place looks from inside. I went to this hotel everyone was so rude, unfriendly and uncooperative that I decided to leave. They have a very vague customer’s policy so that they can play around and cheat with international travellers. Not recommended. You can easily find better deal and better location than this hotel.

  • 5/5 Richard G. 2 years ago on Google
I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I did find a little odd and upsetting was, there wasn't enough water brought up every day as they told us from the beginning. There was no ice machine in sight. Also I had a concern with the cleaning of the tiles in the shower bath tub area as I began to see mold spores on the tiles. Management needs to improve on these areas and have the cleaning people spray the tiles down with scrub off and soap and really scrub those tiles down. But other than that I really enjoyed my stay..the staff was very friendly.

No pool but otherwise at the heart of the city.... Few staff members speak English, breakfast buffet was average but the staff surely made it up with their service. It's within walking distance from tye city's museum and other go to places

The staff robbed me blind. And when I showed them that the receipt and the food I got didn't match they were very rude and aggressive and everyone their seems to be the manager at the end they asked me is it a lot of money or something not worth.

  • 4/5 Alderibe A. 3 years ago on Google
The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the hotel in general is very clean and one can rate is being 4 star not 3.9 as some have rated it. I would recommend it for any body who will be coming to Cairo and definitely it will be my future place of lodging when ever I visit Cairo again

Not the best of hotels but decent for those on a budget and not picky about hotels. The breakfast is not good, but they have a nice cafe in hotel that made up for it.

The hotel is just okay! But not worth for the money. Actually,we are paying a high price. If you are booking through online sites. Quantity of food is very poor. Rooms are not well maintained. Very poor internet connection. Over all it's very bad. So if you are traveling from India my humble submission is not to book this hotel.

I would not recommend anyone to choose to stay here. Terrible service, cleanliness below par and hotel really rundown. Plenty of better places to stay around here. Worst hotel experience of my life. My bedding was stained so I asked for new sheets. When I showed them they said it was washing powder I insisted and was given clean sheets. We travelled to Egypt to visit my friend and they wouldn’t let him into the hotel claiming that Egyptian nationals were not permitted in the hotel. We tried to clarify with written rules of the hotel and they insisted that it was common practice here! Which is ridiculous and obviously wasn’t the case as we ran into a lift full of Egyptian sports team. The case escalated and we decided we did not feel comfortable staying there any longer asked for a refund and booked into another hotel. Room was very noisy but I would have coped with that if the staff had treated us better.

  • 1/5 Shroq A. 2 years ago on Google
The worst ever!!!!! They actually not allowed any kind of visit my friend for 10 minutes and they actually has no kind of language that I can get to any kind of settlement. They say do whatever you want at the bathroom!!!!! Hopefully they take consideration of the staff and how they treat the customers and visitors. Super rude and aggressive. Kind of consideration who you are how much are you going to do without even ask or respect the privacy. One star is a lot!!! Never going back and not recommended at all if you wanna have fun with your friend and family. I hate it!

Very good breakfast included in the room price. The location is perfect if it's your first time in Cairo, right across the street from the Egyptian Museum and very close to a metro station. They can exchange currency at the hotel reception with no additional fee and for the actual authorised exchange rate so it's so much convenient than finding a bank or a currency exchange location. The room was spacious, clean and nice. The aircon didn't cool down a lot but it was ok. They give you the basic toiletries but didn't include body lotion or hair conditioner.

  • 4/5 Aly T. 2 years ago on Google
The rooms aren't the best. As for the food is well served, hot and seasoned although there is no wide variety. As for the location it is around almost everything 2-3 min to the Egyptian museum 8-10 min to Al Ahly Club.

Quite old and very smelly hotel ( sewerage and cooking oil that's all what you going to smell ) Very Old furniture , tired and needs full renovation , very noisey without sound profing..you will hear the cars and street loud noise all day and all night For the cheaper price I managed to shift to 5 stars hotel in a better location and much better service 😀 Breakfast was limited options ( better not go there ) your cloth will stink , smelly resturant and extremely old layout 80s or 90s with a Manager shouting at his staff every morning, were everyone can hear him , it's was very disturbing that we have to listen to his stories ( very ugly ) with the poor female Waiter gas to deal with his anger 😠

I booked for my parents to stay there for 10 days, they are both over 70 years old, I emailed the front desk to take care of them in case they need assistance , staff were very helpful and replied to me right away and my parents were very grateful for all the help they got, I also video chatted with my parents while they stayed in Cleopatra hotel and the suit they got was very clean, spacious and good view as well.

I had a three-nights stay at the hotel while attending a meeting in a venue across the street. The hotel is ok and is located in what felt like a downtown part of Cairo. Very busy part of the city. I was impressed the most by the service received from staff. They were friendly and helpful at guiding me with directions. I was disappointed with maintenance. The shower drain at 1009 was blocked, a repair guy was called in and he did nothing. He simply said I should shower like that and the water will eventually drain. So, for three days I had to stand in a pool of water while showering :(.

Great location, right by Tahrir square and a few mins to the museum, front desk guy Omar v friendly, others just ok. The security screening is pointless as it’s not functional or manned correctly, probably better to open up the space. Just ask guests to show id. breakfast buffet ok as are the rooms if a little tired ( but has character). Room security box however will not hold even a small laptop. Overall good value for the location.

Good short stay in a central location with helpful staff. Close to Tahrir Square and the river Nile. Room was big and clean but lacks heating. Being near to Tahrir Square means you can’t avoid the traffic noise and non-stop honking. Breakfast was subpar.

Except the location, everything is awful . Outdated rooms , old over used bedsheets , horrible carpets , bad room service , bathrooms that don’t work . Pay more and stay elsewhere on Tahir square , like Hilton or Steinberger.
