Beautiful hotel with top notch service. The breakfast was absolutely amazing well worth the ~$31 per person. Only thing I would take off for is the billing, it’s not very transparent we had additional service fees that were not explained properly.

As of this date, this is a fairly new hotel, and it is gorgeous interiors and splendid rooms. We were made to feel very welcomed and seen by the staff. The rooms are top notch and the attention to detail and service were provided from the front desk to the exceptional restaurants on premise.

While this is a beautiful property, the positives end there. The problems we have encountered have been nonstop. No hot water every single day we have been here (we are on day 5 now), water cut off completely, electricity cut off, flooding in the bathrooms from the shower to the toilet area, no working AC in one of the rooms in our suite, extremely slow service in the restaurant at breakfast as well as incorrect orders (despite a very low occupancy rate at the hotel - it’s basically empty). I also asked for laundry to be picked up from my room, and 24 hours later the laundry was still here waiting to be taken away, until we had to speak to the front desk yet again to have it finally picked up. While almost everyone we have spoken to who works at the hotel has been polite (especially Jessica) this doesn’t make up for the fact that the issues don’t get resolved. The fact we are paying nearly $1000 USD a night for a suite and have yet to have the issues permanently resolved is unacceptable. I have spent an inordinate amount of time speaking to personnel every single day to address the problems, it’s extremely annoying and inconvenient. While our room provides access to the Rosetta Club, it is sorely lacking. All it is is a room with a counter of dry pastries that I witness being arranged by kitchen staff with their bare ungloved hands, as well as a fridge of soft drinks that are under lock and key. Definitely not a luxurious perk it is intended to be. This is our first stay at a Waldorf Astoria property and will likely be our last. They have a LOT of work to do here before they can justify the exorbitant rates and encourage guests to return.

We recently had the privilege of staying at the brand-new Waldorf Astoria in Cairo, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience. As Hilton's Iconic brand, the hotel exudes luxury from the moment you step in, showcasing a perfect blend of opulence and modernity. The culinary experience was a highlight, thanks to the outstanding chefs, especially Mohammad and Abeer, who demonstrated exceptional skill and creativity. Each meal was a masterpiece, reflecting a commitment to excellence in every bite. The staff at Waldorf Astoria Cairo went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable stay. Their warmth and attentiveness were evident in every interaction, making me feel not just like a guest, but a valued and cherished one. The level of accommodation and service provided was truly exceptional. As Diamond member, we enjoyed all the benefits that comes with the Hilton Honors. The value for the experience offered is noteworthy. Despite the hotel's undeniable luxury, the pricing remains reasonable, providing guests with a fantastic bang for their buck. Cleanliness is of the highest standard, with meticulous attention to detail evident throughout the premises. The superlative level of hygiene only added to the overall sense of comfort and satisfaction. During my previous visit to Cairo few years ago, our stay at the Intercontinental hotel turned out to be a disappointing experience that we had to leave after a day. The rooms at IHC were outdated, unclean, and permeated with the unpleasant odor of smoke, significantly diminishing our enjoyment of Egypt. However, our subsequent stay this time around at the Waldorf Astoria completely restored our Cairo experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel's exceptional service not only erased the negative memories but also created a positive and lasting impression. In summary, Waldorf Astoria Cairo is an absolute gem, offering a new standard for luxury in the heart of the city. From the brilliant chefs to the accommodating staff, the hotel provides an unparalleled experience. It's not just a stay; it's a journey into exquisite hospitality and Egyptian Culture. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of luxury, value, and top-notch service.

You'd expect the first Waldorf Astoria to open its doors in Africa to be more spacious, but it is rather small compared to other hospitality giants. However, very elaborate décor and a smart distribution of lights play their role in masking such shortcoming. The beautiful centerpiece fountain is in fact a giant floor clock, that all rooms can watch from the balconies. The charming seating is a piece of art and food and beverages of the finest quality, satisfying difficult palates.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Highly recommend if you don’t care about location. Tried different dining options and they were excellent.

Excellent new hotel. I have stayed in several Hilton chain hotels across Cairo, and this one is the best by far. Brand new hotel, the staff is great, the concierge was super helpful. I needed to get medicine from the pharmacy and they took care of everything and delivered it to my door. Gym is top level and super equipped. Only downside was that you can not cast Netflix or any streaming service to the TV. You also can't connect an HDMI. We were told that the feature is coming soon, so I hope that happens!

the stay at WA was very enjoyable, from the reception of staff from Asma at the door ( we had many discussions throughout my stay, it was definitely a highlight ) to the ease of the check-in and check-out process, and how comfortable and chic the room was. I tried the spa from the near by Hilton, Nouran from reception was very nice and accommodating. Taher from housekeeping kept the room very tidy and clean and I enjoyed the turn-down service immensely. the building, interiors, and furnishing are great, high-end, and very classy. but what stood out how detail-oriented the whole team was and how they would do their best to cater to every need and request.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is brand new and the attention to detail is outstanding. This should be the hotel of choice for leisure and business travelers coming to Cairo.
