Nice hotel with quiet rooms, good wifi, outdoor pool, and gym. Glad to have watched Mo Salah win the Carbaro Cup with Liverpool whilst dining next to the Nile River.

If I can place a Zero, I would do so. During the trip to Egypt, I stayed at numerous hotels. Some with less prestige that Hilton, yet the others were better and less expensive. This hotel was a great disappointment. I will question whether I would want to stay at a Hilton once again.

Everything was great, the view was unbeatable overlooking the River Nile. The Front office members were amazing and took special care . Overall, the stay was great! All staff were accommodating, pleasant and helpful! Upon arrival, the hotel was completely gated and the car was checked by an officer and dog.

Very nice hotel with great location, nice rooms and breakfast and the safety is high! BUT, they are not honest with the money... We paid 50 dollars for deposition that should be repaid 14 days after check out, its 4 months ago no money has returned. Not about the money it is about the honesty… don pay deposit it is a scam

It is a good solution if you need a place to stay for a bit longer and you need more than just a hotel room. The appartments are good equipped, although some electrical installations and equipments could be in a better shape. The service is good, cleaning provided and also fine.

The service is great. People are very warm and welcoming esp. those working in the restaurant. Especial mentioned to these two friendly staff Fathy Mo and Sayad S. Thanks for the good service and for making us feel welcome in Cairo. It may be hot in Cairo but nothing beats the warm welcome that we have experienced with the people we meet.

Rooms are a bit dated with very old carpet and furniture. The staff for the most part are helpful, courteous and somewhat knowledgeable. A standout was Mr. Mohammed; very personable. The location of the hotel, right on the Nile is excellent.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The front of house staff are sincerely awesome. We visited this hotel as part of my wife's birthday week tour to Egypt. Her birthday is actually a few days after we leave the hotel this week. When we arrived today, everyone wished her a happy birthday. They went out of their way today to ensure we were looked after while we waited for our room to get ready (we arrived around 1pm, check in is at 3pm). They even gave us a voucher for free coffee (or soft drinks), with 15% off our lunch food bill. When we reached our room (with fabulous views of the Nile), they had a birthday cake ready for us! We have read so many bad reviews about this hotel, but we were bown away today with the hospitality and excellent quality service. Well done, highly recommended!

The suite was a great deal of space for the price, perfect for a larger family traveling together, and the breakfast was good. Their travel desk did set up an excellent pick-up from Cairo airport that was hassle-free. But everything was a bit dated and very worn, things we requested or ordered took a long time or never arrived, and the ATM didn't work the entire time we were there (and the other one they recommended down the street ate my card). Also the security was super lax to the extent of desk napping, which I realize after visiting other hotels throughout Egypt is pretty rare, elsewhere took it pretty seriously.

Hotel had great views of the city. We felt very safe walking around the area as the hotel is surrounded by Foreign Embassies with security. Pool is lovely.

The staff and location of this hotel is what makes it special! I can't wait to return. From the evening and day front desk clerks to the dinning, and pool employees, as well as my housekeeper, they all worked together to make me feel at home. I also loved the two beautiful German Shepard security dogs, and security men keeping us safe! Great job! Mahmoud, Ibrahim, Tamer, Rania, and Esraa I miss you all already! Thank again.

The location is perfect, located in one of the best and safest districts in Cairo, everything is a walking distance from the property. The rooms are a bit dated and was not very clean. The staff wasn’t friendly but was polite enough to not be called unprofessional. Had an issue during check out were they tried to charge me for some room service orders that I didn’t ask for an had to discuss this matter with them for about half an hour which made me late for my flight.

Our stay was amazing. We felt so safe & welcomed here. It was a safe haven in chaotic Cairo! The staff was exceptional, especially Ibrahim & Husna. Who welcomed us with smiles every time we walked in and were so helpful. Our room was very clean (I don’t like carpet but it was cleaned regularly by the staff). We had a view of the Nile which was very nice. I give it a 4.9 out of 5. The only thing we felt could’ve been a bit better were the facilities. The pool area felt a little underwhelming and wish there was more decor. Same with the gym, spa, and hair salon. I think they need some love! Overall; we loved our stay here and felt nothing could’ve been more perfect for our holiday in Cairo.

My stay at this 5-star hotel was truly remarkable! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The hotel's elegant design and spacious rooms created a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The culinary experience was outstanding, with a variety of dining options that catered to every taste. The amenities, including the spa, fitness center, and swimming pool, were top-notch. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and unforgettable luxury.

We stayed here the end of Dec 2023. The upgrade to our room was very nice. The service was always done with a smile. The restaurant was tasty. The view was amazing and the pool just right. Security made you feel very safe.

The Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residence is a great option for those looking for a comfortable stay in the city. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it is kept very clean. I was impressed with the upgrade we received to a two-bedroom apartment with a private kitchen, two bathrooms, and a huge living room. The service from Mr. Hazel at the reception was fantastic and really added to our experience. The view of the Nile River from our room was the cherry on top of a great stay. I would rate my experience 4/5 and definitely recommend this hotel to others."

From the moment I checked in, my experience was exceptional, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the front office team. The Food and Beverage (F&B) manager and his team also played a significant role in making my stay delightful. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention for their meticulous work, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment. Another aspect that stood out was the attentiveness of the security team, who were always vigilant, adding a sense of safety throughout my stay. However, what truly made my experience memorable was the personal touch of being called by my name by everyone at the property. This small yet significant gesture made me feel recognized and valued as a guest. Overall, my stay at [Hilton ] was not just comfortable but also personalized, making it one of my most enjoyable hotel experiences

Kind and friendly staff throughout! Mohammed was so amazing at check in and we loved our stay. Their attention to detail greatly surpasses other hotels in the area. There are also several dining options within a quick 10 minute Uber ride. Breakfast was also fantastic!

This is my usual hotel when in Cairo, great location and view. However last time the breakfast was terrible, orange juice was off and the salads and fruits were old. Incredible for an Hilton Hote.

The hotel is very far away from a 5 stars hotel. The only good point of stay was the size of the room & one-two persons who was trying to care & to give some service. That’s it. Room was in very dirty condition. Under the pillows of sofas was not cleaned for some years maybe. Dirty points on cushions & carpet. Dirty, very dirty curtains.. Brocken parts of some furnitures. I can continue with a very long list.. Shortly: the hotel is in a big unsanitary condition! Even if we would pay 60 Euro per night it would be not ok, but for 600€ per night it’s really a big disaster!

Nice and very clean hotel. Location was pretty much close to every attraction in Cairo. The breakfast was amazing. I went there solo and still had a wonderful time plenty of things to do here in cairo. I will definitely come back and stay at the Hilton zamalik.

  • 2/5 Serena H. 11 months ago on Google
Most definitely not worth the price per night and no where near the standard of Hiltons in other countries. If you want the short version, don’t book here, they are simply using the Hilton name and Zamalek’s (the neighbourhood) notoriety to increase the price of rooms. For my detailed review, read on. There are positives to the hotel; the pool is large and clean, there is a wonderful and top rated café (Haven) attached to the hotel just next to the entrance, the beds were clean and comfortable, rooms were very spacious and quiet, and the ac (at least in our suite) worked wonderfully. Now for the issues. If booking, don’t be impressed by the title ‘ambassador suite’ because every floor past 13 contains ambassador or presidential suites. The rooms appear to have been furnished in the 80s and never updated. I’ve travelled widely and understand that customer service standards vary from country to country, but the staff at the Hilton are lacking compared to the other establishments I visited in Cairo. There is a lack of communication at every turn, from employee to guest, employee to employee, and manager to employee. Essentially it makes the simplest tasks difficult and timely. It took the staff at reception over five hours and three separate requests to get our party of six more than the two bath towels that were in our rooms when we arrived. Many staff seem trained to help you with a task once you’ve nearly finished doing it yourself. And make sure to watch your plate and drinks when servers come by because they may try to clear your dishes when you aren’t finished without asking if you’re done. And best to ask to sign the bill when you’ve ordered from the ‘Nile Breeze Restaurant’ when you’re done, because even after they cleared our plates, dropped a final drink off, and we sat there for another hour they didn’t think we might be finished and want the bill. Overall the staff are inattentive. The food is decent and well priced off the menu, but be warned the breakfast buffet is a wide selection of poorly imitated American/European food. I understand many westerners expect or even prefer western food when travelling, especially from a western hotel chain, but I myself travel to different countries to experience that country. It would be a vast improvement if they allowed the chefs to cook Egyptian dishes they are familiar with and can execute well. Then maybe add a small selection of simple western options for those who prefer to play it safe. Overall, not worth the price. The positives start and end with the building itself. Save your money and patience and pick somewhere else to stay.

Very nice hotel and perfectly located. The service was impeccable 👍 I proposed to my now fiancée and they helped me organize the greatest experience ever. I can only recommend as we got upgraded to the best suite and beneficiated from a lot more advantages!

We booked a standard room and got upgraded on arrival (no prompting from us). They checked us in slightly early too. Great poolside service, beautiful pool and very helpful and kind staff. The room we were upgraded to was a suite. It lacked a mini bar, hair dryer and laundry powder, but everything else was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay!

Very, very nice hotel in Cairo! Central, good occupied, good neighborhood! Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, excellent staff and service! Very, very good breakfast, pool, fitness center and good massage with fair prices! Check out the Japanese Restaurant and the Café in the hotel - very good!

The best hotel experience on the planet. From arrival to checkout everything was perfection. The staff is a testament to great customer service, the rooms are amazing. This is Hilton service at its BEST. All hotel chains could take a lesson from this one. BRAVO AND THANK YOU

I had a meal at the restaurant right across the pool. I ordered Bolognese pasta and it was actually below mediocre. I would rate it 3 out of 10. I felt like I ordered food from a casual restaurant. I was expecting something fancy, since I paid more. Also, I asked for a cup of water and it was horrible. They served me a glass of water that has stuff floating in it. I asked to change it, and the second glass of water was even more horrible. The water had a bad tasted in it. I spat it right out. They then offered me to buy a sealed bottle of water for 50 EGP. Not a good experience at all!!

The Hotel location is absolutely superb on the nile banks where the view is breath taking specially the skyscrapers on the other side. The rooms are absolutely comfy like all 5 stars hotels, and the staff are really friendly. The stay there is really enjoyable. An excellent experience. Highly recommended for a very inspiring vacation on the nile banks. Loved it ❤

I want to thank Farida for her care of her guest. She is all big smile under her Mask. Mahetab, Zaineb and Salma at the reception of course with a big thanks to Hazam. This team I called them the dream team. They keep asking you all day I f you need or can help you in anything. First time in a Hilton hotel Zamalak staff are very devoted to their work. I am enjoying my stay very well. It’s my second experience in Hilton Zamalak and for sure I will recommend to each of one to come and feel the experience. You will enjoy your stay. Many thanks to the Dream Team.

The hotel is very precise on hiring the right people. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Mrs Fadia from the honor office were very attentive to our needs and made our accommodations great! The concierge Mr. Ahmed was also great and help us a lot during our stay. The room were specious and has very nice view.

Old but well maintained in a highbrow area. Rooms were clean and Covid compliant which is great. Service wasn’t exceptional or anything to write home about. We had to beg for water with meals and this is unacceptable. The food was the same each time, lacking variety, boring and uninspiring. Definitely areas of improvement especially when receiving tired travellers

The hotel may looked dated, but the rooms were in good condition. But the staff were amazing. They make me feel valued, took care of every request that I had. Their service were genuine, professional, caring, and wonderful. I could go on for a decade about how great the staff were.

Mr Manager of the Hilton Zamalek, you are a master of customer service, you must teach customer communication to the reception staff, there are insignificant details (fridge and power outlet in the room out of order...) Also I am willing to admit that there are cultural differences between customers and staff, but the unjustified lack of courtesy towards customers is unacceptable! I present my reservation with proof of payment at the reception, and I learn that part of my stay was canceled without notice and not refunded!!!! I preferred to spend my last night in Cairo with another establishment, the price was much lower there with much higher services, with the respect of the customer as a bonus... Best regards Georges Boubolis +41 77 995 9570

Excellent hotel, staff is so friendly and overall service is excellent, its recommended if your planning business or leisure trip to Cairo, its located in the tip of Zamalek island in Cairo's downtown ... Close to all famous attractions of Cairo and also in a very quite neighborhood in one of the noisiest cities in the world... You can literally escape this in Hilton Zamalek... Also they have a great nile view that becomes so alive at night... I definitely recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to Cairo.. solo or with group.. it will meet your expectations...

Unprofessional running hotel and a rip off on the price, also very strict and extremely muslim brotherhood. They shouldn't be in the hospitality business. Overall on of the manager called Ibrahim was very understand but everyone else No good, good luck if you stay there.

I hired a big sweat in it when I read the comments when I see it I tried to change it but the hotels are full ,it was very big but not clean ,the sheets are not smell nice ,the towels not clean the dust everywhere .The breakfast was included but we tried it once ,we didn’t like the way they served the food. The stuff in the reception were the good thing there ,helpful and nice

Overall, the stay was great! All staff were accommodating, pleasant and helpful! Upon arrival, the hotel was completely gated and the car was checked by an officer and dog. We felt rather safe. They upgraded our room to a suite when we checked in for free. We received a free liter of water everyday we were there. The view of the Nile River was spectacular. The breakfast was mediocre for the price point ($20 per person) and was not included in the price of the room. Some areas could’ve been a little cleaner. The white refrigerator handles were brown and the tub was stained, but nothing major. Would definitely stay here again!

I recently visited Cairo and stayed at Hilton Zamalek. It is a nice clean hotel on the island of Zamalek and beautiful views of the River Nile. Thanks to the reservation team who gave me a lovely suite on the higher floor so i had the best view of River Nile. The dining restaurant was spacious and excellent view to River Nile. The breakfast spread was good. The rooms were very properly cleaned and on time. Very friendly staff and the hotel is located in a very safe location with lots of security on the streets so very easy to walk around during the day and night. There are nice cafes and restaurants in the street as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for business and short stays. Thank you Hilton Cario Zamalek for taking care of me and making my stay very comfortable.

The hotel is well kept and the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is fully equipped with a TV, mini fridge, iron/ironing board. There are 2 restaurants on site and a tea/lounge room where you can eat as well. The main restaurant offers a buffet breakfast and you can order lunch/dinner until about 1am. The 2nd restaurant is a Japanese restaurant. You are not allowed to eat outside food anywhere in the hotel besides your room or outside by the pool. The pool is opened from 6a-6p sharp, which is kind of early when vacationing. The smallest towels available in your room are hand towels, lol so bring your own wash cloth or loofah. The location of the hotel is not what I expected but is safe. There is a coffee shop and pharmacy directly across the street. There are no other hotels in the surrounding area. The only downside beyond the pool closing so early is the Japanese restaurant. We inquired about the closing time and we're informed that they close at 11p and take the last order at 10p. We went for dinner at 9p and were told they were not taking orders/guests because they needed to clean the kitchen. So we ended up ordering food from KFC and eating in our room. I would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxed scene amongst the locals.

Was shocked when i walked to my $355 Room. I really don't know how to start. There wasn't like one or two things to complain about. They only good thing about it is that it's Ina good neighborhood that all and I could've stayed In a different place for way cheaper price. The service is 0. They won't even let the delivery to bring your food or bringing it themselves. I stayed in 5th flflouri ordered twice , and everytime i had to get down to the lobby 🙃. The rooms are below average for that price. Crazy part is when checking, they still ask you how's your stay. So irritating.

Don't be underwhelmed by the slightly dated furnishings, the rooms are squeaky clean and the excellent hotel staff provide the same international Hilton level of service. I checked in late after 24 hours of flying and meetings, the hotel staff provided everything extra I needed upon request very quickly. The restaurant has an excellent seating area by the Nile, room service was also excellent. Great place to stay .

Everything about the hotel is great, I really enjoyed my stay here. Nice welcoming staff, room service, and a very quiet place. Perfect location, in a very secure neighborhood. Receptionist Mr.Hazem was very welcoming and nice with us. Definitely will be my number 1 choice next time in Cairo!

  • 4/5 Ronnie G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice safe location. Rooms are a little dated but are very big. My family of 6 stayed very comfortably. There was a wrap around balcony. The food was average but the staff was very friendly. If you want a big place that your whole family can stay together this is your spot. It’s not the Hilton in Luxor but it’s fine for the money.

  • 2/5 Donald Chisholm J. 1 year ago on Google
It was an OK stay. The best part is the view from the room. The room itself is very outdated and smells like cigarettes. The service is sub par and inconsistent. Room service was slow and incorrect the only 2 times we ordered (and it was simple things like a margarita pizza was somehow mistaken for a sausage pizza). The front desk and security held us from going into our room on one occasion and couldn’t communicate to us why they were doing so. That was frustrating as we watched groups of other people go without being questioned like we were. Overall, would definitely not stay here again considering the other hotel options in the area.

The location is Good, this is the only good thing I enjoyed except that everything is bad! During my stay with Hilton Cairo Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences, I encountered a number of unsatisfactory service level. First thing and upon my check-in, they changed the total price of stay, it increased, and I tried to told them that I always pay with the rate with the confirmation, but they charged me with the high price! but after many tries from my end, I get back the different within my check-out, but this is very bad experience, as I go there for relaxation, not for debate and negotiate for issues and troubles! Second, I entered the room was certainly one of the older, un-renovated rooms, the room itself was also really quite dirty, there was a constant damp and mould like smell in the room and seemed to have been perhaps animals hair and dirt on the carpet itself, the bathroom smiles is very bad as well, there is no premium WIFI as well, also the Tea Kettle is dirty and not automatically off. Also they picked up room far from my preferences, I stay in room no: 1004, which is far from the evaluator, air-condition was so noisy and air full of dirt. The room was not at all what I booked and have known the state of both the room and the level of noise outside and inside the room because of air-condition noise as well. The only good thing there, restaurant staff there was really helpful and cooperative, also the food is good, and there are a lot of variety. I enjoyed my breakfast on front of the river Nile as well. But during my stay, I did not enjoyed everything there, room is bad and dirty, air-condition was so noisy, even the iron stand was so dirty, my clothes got dirty because of it! This type of service is completely unacceptable at so many levels. It is not kind of treatment I would have expected as one of Diamond member, also from 5 star hotel as well, I am very disappointed from this bitter experience.

The hotel was lovely, our rooms were spacious with equally spacious bathrooms. The rooms had balconies overlooking the River Nile , such a beautiful view to wake up to in the mornings. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of things to choose from, the bakery was very very good, so many types of bakery to start the day. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed advice on things to do, and places to go. My only critisim would be that the hotel could do with a decor update as it was a bit dated. Overall, we were happy with our stay .

We stayed here for the first time as part of a wedding party. The staff were excellent, from the bell boy, reception, management and Nile Restaurant staff. Very good location overlooking the River Nile. The extensive morning buffet menu was enjoyed by all, especially when eating by the pool in the sun. Excellent value, highly recommended.
