Scam Scam Scam! I booked a room in New Garden Palace Hotel in Cairo and then I regretted it. I had check out the first day. First of all, I booked it for 3 nights and I only stayed here 1 night & then I had to move out because the room was very old, its window door was broken and it would come off easily if someonewas to push it. There was no shower in the bathroom and very little hot water. I has to take shower with small water bottle. Last but not least, we gave the manager/owner 50 euro. We asked for change and he said that he will bring me the change (25 euro) to my room but he didn't. There were 2 ladies who couldn't speak English (I used Google Translate) who told me to come in the evening. In evening there was someone and he said that he will bring the money to my other hotel where I was staying. He didn't bring the money and we had to go to the hotel again and there was no sign of the manager to give us the money. Summary of my experience: The pictures posted were fake Only 2 people could speak English and they were not always there (from the I didn't get my change (25 euro from 50 euro that I paid).

The WORST hotel ever. The reception guy deceived me on price. The room was too dirty. It’s not a place for a human to stay. It’s a place for a wild dog. Please do not stay here. Thanks to this hotel, I really hate Egyptian guys. Sorry. If you want to experience the life in Egyptian Slum, this may be the best option:) You won’t fall asleep because you feel the danger everywhere.

Very unhelpful staff and dirty room. I wanted to plug my phone and recharge it because I needed to have my alarm go off in the morning for an important matter. There was not a single plug working. I went down to the staff and all I was told was "this is what we've got".. and they made the brilliant suggestion that I should just "charge my phone in the lobby and come downstairs in an hour to get it." Best in mind, this was at 12 mid night. Room and bathroom were quite dirty with no available towel, so I couldn't take a shower as I had no towel myself. Quite a bad experience, please do not come to this hotel.

Checked out after 2 hours of my arrival. Please don't be deceived by the pictures or the big entrance Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was dirty, the bed sheets had stains all over it and smelled bad. The room smell was unbearable. The window space was barely blocked with a piece of wood. Bathroom light flashing, heater doesn't work, cigarette buds all over.

DO NOT BOOK! Seriously, don't waste your money. This is by far one of the nastiest hotels I've ever been to with the worst service I've ever experienced. There is no way they have three stars, I doubt it's even one. The place looks abandoned and is extremely dirty. The staff (two people!) should really change careers because they do NOT know the meaning of service. You literally have to beg them to do their job and end up making a scene and demanding basic things like a towel. There's dust and dirt in every corner (if you're allergic don't stay here!). There's this noise coming from the bathroom that sounds like the walls are screaming. The balcony doesn't close and the AC's are so noisy it's impossible to sleep. The sheets are so linty it feels like sleeping on gravel. The TV has no remote and is so old the speakers are barely working. The breakfast is literally two eggs and two pieces of cheese and there's no place but the reception to eat it. I could go on forever so I'll just repeat, DO NOT BOOK!

I totally Don't recommend it the rooms Don't have slippers for bathrooms and are not clean, to be honest I give this hotel less than one star.And also the treatment of the staff is very bad, they asked me for some money for nothing, guys, no one comes to this hotel !!!!!!

The worst of the worst...the receptionist is trying to make you pay money by any means ... no cards only cash available ... very dirty and dusty place .... the room was very dirty ...the white sheets were dirty probably used and lintly and had hair all over them ... the bathroom has no soap or towels or slippers...very bad experience I would not recommend it to any one

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Starting from the receptionist who told me that I should pay 9 $ for every night instead of 8.01 $ because they consider the .01 equal to one $, I do not know why. Secondly, the elevator was horrible and it feels unsafe. The room door was open and cannot be locked despite telling the receptionist about. The room is cold, poorly lighted, smells bad, and it is not quiet. Everything looks dirty and old; bed sheets were stained along with the carpet. BED BUGS, scratching, and rolling in bed all the night. The AC is out of service, no TV set, and the refrigerator is broken. It is unsafe, exposed electrical wires,unsatisfactory , disgusting. Not to mention that the bathroom is dirty, needs maintenance, and the siphon is broken.

I have never even seen like the hotel very bad of everything, the room was very derty and the bathroom too was very derty, 🤮👎

In the heart of the City center. Cheap and comfortable and the staff is friendly. You can find a lot of cafeterias and restaurants nearby. I recommend it.

Very rude receptionist, she is not professional at all and her way of talking with people and guest very rude. I do not recommend this place for any one. Not professional place at all.

Image room without AC? So roud attitude from the recipition guy, the police is not clear, the hiden charge it always there

This is the worst place to stay I can find, other than the very, very bad treatment, when I entered the reception I didn't find anyone and I waited for more than 15 minutes, and when the employee came and asked him why there is no one to receive customers, he said what do you want me to do? Am I waiting for you at the door? I asked him to speak respectfully and he kicked me out and said he wouldn't hold me.

It is one of the best hotels and its service is very great and I recommend everyone to go to it

The standard is good for the price. The room was very decent..easy to reach through navigation but the toilet was broken...I didn't complain anyway as it was just one night. The reception people were also nice. If the toilet was it broken it would have been perfect
