I love this place. Feels like home. Ahmad and his family are very good hosts. Location is great too. I totally recommend it !

There is no way to explain of how warmly I was received & looked after by the hostel ‘s hosts Mr & Mrs Ahmed. My ankle was badly injured before traveling to Egypt. It was healed as they looked after me like they look after their own children 👍😊. Arrived in the fasting month of Ramadan. During their breaking the fast , Mr&Mrs Ahmed invited all guests to eat with them. Room is clean . The sphere has been lovely & friendly. I felt that I was home. Their lovely kids were great too . It is a very family sphere. Location is excellent. It is in the 18th century old Cairo . Close to the Egyptian Museum / ElTahrir Squire/ Metro etc … Definitely recommended. I am looking forward to stay at their hostel if I am visiting Egypt again. If you try it once you do not want to leave it . It was just excellent in every which way . 👍👍👍Well done Mr. Ahmed . The price is cheap. There is a hot shower. There is toilet paper. There is no air conditioning. Although it was a private room, the lighting in the reception and private room was impossibly dark, making it extremely uncomfortable. I feel like I need the light on my smartphone to read the text. Also, power outages seem to occur frequently, resulting in darkness for about two hours. Reception doesn't speak English. There's no shared space either. I will never stay here again no matter how cheap it is. This might be the worst hotel I've ever been to. I couldn't stand it, but if you don't mind the darkness, the price is low and the rooms are private, so it might be a good idea.

The experience is on point! If you pass by Cairo and looking for a place to stay with an incredible vibe, then you must spend few nights at Cairo central house! The owner is the sweetest and and there's always amazing people to hang out with.

Stayed in cairo for 2 months and Mr Ahmed´s and his crew service was always the best. Defenitley the best place for a short or long stay in cairo, Mr Ahmed is always helpfull, kind and always look for the people wellnes. Btw that Mexican hat in common room... im so glad they keep it .

Overall, I would rate my experience at Cairo Central House Hostel a 10/10. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient place to stay in Cairo. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I look forward to visiting again soon!

Ahmed makes every guest feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable plus the location of the accommodation is very central. I will definitely stay here again!
