When checking in, the housekeeping staff stated that there were no rooms available and directly transferred us to the Kings Palace Hotel next door (both bed and breakfast). I kept in touch with Rhala Hotel until the day before check-in, but they chose to inform me right after check-in. When I had to accept it in the middle of the night, I felt a little disappointed and distrustful. The staff at Kings Palace Hotel is very nice, and the facilities and cleanliness are pretty good, but it's just an older hotel.

The best thing about it is that it is quite chill and a good break from the chaos below. Owner/manager has good information about and is generous in providing. No pressures for tours and all that junk (what is great!). I didnt realize during booking that some of the rooms have shared bathroom something to consider. Anyway, good hostel in a central location with a good calm environment and as silent as Cairo can gets.

The owners are very honest, they are always willing to help. Also in good location too. We really love the hostel. And one important thing: the internet works excellent.

This hostel have a perfect location in the center of downtown, National museum and other famous square is walking distance. The owner is really helpful, he is an architect and have a good taste of interior design, so u will definitely have a cozy and relax time here. I stay almost one month here . Hope can come back soon.
