Just love it, the atmosphere, the view, the history and surely the people there. The cost is just perfect nearly 25 pounds for individual. The tour guide was very informative and helpful. If you are looking for a different, unique quality time with you kids, I really recommend visiting this place. Kids love planes and adults love history, so it is the right mixture for a family. Try to pick weekend for the visit because of too many school tours that could affect you. The experience was great, I surely will visit it again

I wanted to make a surprise for my kid and see real air force airplanes, but it turned out I was equally impressed with the experience. The place is impeccable from the way you are treated, the design, amazing events to entertain everyone and lot of info from well prepared tour guides. I had the amazing opportunity to be in a simulator. Honestly, the museum makes people feel proud of Egypt.

Wonderful place! I really don't understand why it is so underrated but this should definetely be present in one of the top places for tourists. The area is really nice, green, there is a playground for kids and the whole place is really family friendly. In addition the staff are extremely polite yet they value your privacy unlike other places in Cairo. Maybe this is because they are servicemen for the air force but their English is flawless and are always ready to assist you. The exhibition itself has almost everything - from old British trainers through first jets, french and soviet helicopters, fighter planes from both USA and USSR, Soviet bombers & transports, Czech trainers, French fighters, even locally build Egyptian trainer-fighters. The internal exhibition is also really nicely arranged, a lot of activities for the children and nice gift shop. This is truly a remarkable place, commemorating the history of The Egyptian Air Force!

You better watch out, because once you to this place, you won't see high detailed stuff, but you will see what was one day a history changer ,you will be in the presence in of the few places that invented time machine, because ladies and gentlemen, you will see what was one of the reasons of stopping the history time and causing the whole world to drop their jaws and stand up when only her name is mention and her name ladies and gentle men is EGYPT...

The museum is so traditional, it isn’t offering a different for exhibits. Besides, I don’t recommend to make it there through summer as the museum doesn’t provide good shading whatsoever!

The museum is very nice. You can see there a wide variety of aircrafts and helicopters from Tiger Moth(first aircraft to join the service of the Egyptian Airforce) to F-16. There's also a place where you can see different parts of an aircraft (like the cockpit, the engine and the pilot's chair).A lot of crafts for kids are availble as well.

(Translated by Google) The Aviation Museum is a very very beautiful museum, and I advise all Egyptians to visit it, especially children. We will get there very, and they have a special corner. Also, they make small aircraft and some sales for them, and how they design birds from some things, such as plastic and wood blankets. A closed hall with aircraft maintenance workshops and some purposes for warplanes. A very beautiful place is open throughout the week except Tuesday. It is the official license of the museum and the entry ticket for Egyptians is 30 pounds. (Translated by Google) An amazing place that must be visited for adults and children, because it contains pilot models and explanations for each model with a specialized guide. Other than the different shooting places for any other place inside and outside the planes, it is not a recreational area for children to spend beautiful times while waiting for the tour, a children's cinema and a beautiful library for what it contains of gray And he wrote special books about the Air Force and Smelator who roams you from Alexandria to Aswan on an imaginary trip. All of this is beautiful, but the cafeteria prices are expensive. The museum is located in Almaza Military Base on Salah Salem road, across from Egyptian Military Academy. A tour through the outside of the museum takes its visitors back to the 1973 October War by displaying helicopters and aircrafts of the era. Inside the museum, there is VIP hall in which there are many 3D films showing footage of the war. The museum also has a park for children and a café, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
